Sweet Stampin' - Anything Goes

Good morning to you all.

I hope you all had a fabulous Christmas and had great fun with family and friends. My daughter managed to make it home for Christmas Day - thanks to my hubbie driving all the way to London and back to collect her. The only sad thing is that we had to drive her back again on Boxing Day due to work commitments. But we got to spend some quality time with her, which is the most important thing.

Anyway back to business! It's that time again ---- it's Sweet Stampin' day!!  Our theme this week is 'Anything Goes'. So I thought I would share the Christmas card I made for my hubbie. It's fun and cute - I gave the reindeer a shiny nose and goggley eyes - they're a little wonky so he looks a little merry. Lol!

Here's What I did
I used a 7" x 7" white base card on which I matted some patterned paper and card.  I die cut 4 curved shapes from white card using a border die so that they would look like snowy slopes.  All the edges of the cut pieces were coloured with a blue Copic pen, these were then layered up onto a blue background to create a snowy scene. I stamped the reindeer 3 times, coloured him with Copic pens, cut out the necessary sections and then layered them up. I added the reindeer, coloured in Robin and log to the background. The finished picture was matted onto some Kraft and red card stock and added to the card base. To finish off I added die cut stars to the sky, added gogglely eyes, glossy accent to the reindeer's nose and white pen to the scarf and hat.

Here's everything I used:
Stamp: 'Santa's Reindeer'- By HobbyArt
Paper/Cardstock (CS):  Desert Storm Neenah CS, Red, White & Blue Plain CS, Kraft CS,  First Edition 'Nordic Christmas' Paper Pad
Copics: Reindeer & Robin - E33, E35, E37 / Nose, Scarf, Hat, Leg Warmers, Robin's Breast - R14, R27, R59 / Snow - B0000, B000
Dies: Spellbinder 'Curved Border One', Cuttlebug 'Snowflakes'
Other: Sharpie White Pen, Glossy Accent

So why not drop by the Sweet Stampin' Challenge blog and check out what my fab Design Team girlies have made to inspire you. So come on why not join in with the fun and enter your card/project into our 'Anything Goes' challenge we'd love to see your entries. REMEMBER you must include a stamped element on your card!  Have fun and good luck.

Christmas - Sugar Nellie DT Card

Merry Christmas Everyone!

It's Thursday --- and here in the UK it's Christmas Day. Yay!!! I hope you've received lots of lovely pressies and have a wonderful day with family and friends.

So onto my Thursday post - because everyone will be having a pretty hectic day today I'll keep it brief. I thought as it's Christmas Day I would make a card on behalf of all the Sugar Nellie Design Team and Karen to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful 2015.

Here's What I Did
I created a CAS card using one of my favourite but never used digi stamps called 'Time Together' - it's available from Funkykits (see the link below).  I designed the layout using CraftArtist 2, then printed it out onto Neenah CS, and die cut it into a square. I coloured the image with Copic pens and finished it off with some glitter and a few gems. The completed topper was then matted and layered and added to my 5" x5" card base.
Here's What I Used
Stamp: 'Time Together' available from Funkykits
Paper/Cardstock (CS): 5"x5" Base, White Neenah CS, Red CS, Lawn Fawn 'Peace, Joy, Love' Paper Pad
Copics: Skin - E0000, E000, E00, E02 / Hair & Mouse - E31, E33, E35, E37 / Dress, Hats, Ribbon - BG000, BG01, BG05, BG10 / Jacket, Tights, Flowers, Boots - R14, R27, R59 / Wings - R20, 000 / Ground - BG000, BG01 / Bells - Y15, Y17 / Fur Trim - C1, C2, BG000 / Parcels - R30, R81, R85

At Christmas, time is always of a premium and I'm no exception - so to help speed things along I used one of the new Sugar Nellie pre-coloured toppers. These sheets are soooo useful and very handy to have in your crafty stash.  I used a pre-embossed card base that I've had for ages, a topper, some twine and a couple of bells -- and tada one Christmas card made!!!

Here's What I Did
I used a 5½" x 5½" pre-embossed white card base. Then using a red and green glitter pen I coloured over the embossed areas, and added my twine and bell. The pre-coloured topper was matted and layered onto plain cardstock and added to my card base. To finish off I added a few glitter gel dots and a little glitter.

Here's What I Used
Stamp: Sugar Nellie Topper sheets available from  Funkykits
Paper/Cardstock (CS): 5½" x 5½" pre-embossed white card base, Red & Green CS
Other: Glitter, Bells, Sakura Red & Green Glitter Pens, Glitter Gel Dots

Sweet Stampin' DT - Oh Christmas Tree

Good morning to you all.

Well, it's that time again ---- it's Sweet Stampin' day!!

Our theme this week is 'Oh Christmas Tree'. This so reminds me of the time my daughter was in her infant school Christmas play, which was aptly called 'Oh Christmas Tree'.  At the time I used to help out in the school few days a week - and on this occasion I helped with the costumes, face painting and scenery. I just being involved especially when there was something creative and festive going on and I loved every single minute of it. I can remember feeling so proud of all the little ones who took part including my daughter.  It's hard to believe now, that many of them are successful adults and parents with little ones of their own.  How time flies!!! Well now have the Christmas carol 'Oh Christmas Tee' firmly stuck in my head I can't stop singing it, lol.

Anyhoo, he's my Design Team card for you.  It's quite a CAS one really, with a stamped image and a few die cut elements. It was so quick to make, which is just perfect for this time of the year.

Here's What I did
I used a 5" x 5" white base card on which I matted some patterned paper. Then I die cut a black stitched square and 4 white plain squares. One of the white squares was cut again using a village scene die, the other 3 squares were also die cut using a curved border die so that they would look like snowy slopes.  All the edges of the cut pieces were coloured with a blue Copic pen and glittered, these were then layered up to create a snowy scene. The finished picture was matted onto some red card and added to the card base. Finally I added my stamped and embossed Christmas tree to the picture using some foam tape for dimension, along with a red gems for a bit of glitz.

Here's everything I used:
Stamp: 'Snowy Christmas' - Butterfly Kisses By HobbyArt
Paper/Cardstock (CS): Black and Red CS, Lawn Fawn 'Peace, Joy, Love' Paper Pad.
Dies: Spellbinder 'Curved Border One', XCut '7 Piece Village - Build a Scene'
Other: Embossing Powder, Glitter, Gems, Copic Pen B0000, Sharpie White Pen, Holographic Embossing Powder, Versamark Ink

So why not drop by the Sweet Stampin' Challenge blog and check out what my fab Design Team girlies have made to inspire you. So come on why not join in with the fun and enter your card/project into our 'Oh Christmas Tree' challenge we'd love to see your entries. REMEMBER you must include a stamped element on your card!  Have fun and good luck.

Sugar Nellie Design Team Card

Good morning sugar fans!

Wow, another has Thursday has gone by and we're swiftly heading towards Christmas. Have you got your decorations up yet?  Hopefully mine will be going up this weekend - I really need to see some Christmas glitz.

Anyhoo onto my card - for this week  I decided to use one of the lovely new pre-coloured Sugar Nellie toppers made by Hobby House. The pack contains 3 sheets with 6 different Christmas toppers on each - they're available to buy from Funkykits. They're great for this time of the year especially if you need to make a quick Christmas card or some help with your batch card making.  The cardstock is a really good quality and can be heat embossed, inked or coloured up.
If you prefer to colour your own images - there is a  digital version of this image and it can be found here.

Here's What I Did
I used a 5" x 5" white card base on which I matted and layered both plain and patterned cardstock. On top of the patterned paper I attached punched out card strips in green and red card. Then I sprinkled some Frantage around the main image on the topper and heat embossed it, when it cooled I matted this onto a die cut scalloped circle which I raised up on foam tape, and added to my card base. To finish off I added a diecut snowflake, some gems and a little glitter.
Here's What I Used
Stamp: Sugar Nellie Topper sheets available from  Funkykits
Paper/Cardstock (CS): 5"x5" Base, Red and Green CS, Lawn Fawn 'Peace, Joy, Love' Paper Pad
Dies: Spellbinder Grand Scallop Circle, MFT Dia-namics Snowflakes
Other: Glitter, Gem, Frantage

Inky Chicks - Winter Wonderland

Good evening everyone!

So on this dark and wintery Tuesday evening I'm here to share my Inky Chicks DT card with you, and the theme this week is Winter Wonderland.  And judging by all the dark frosty days, it's quite apt.

Here's What I did
I used a 5½" x 5½" Christmas embossed card base which I coloured up using Sakura Glitter pens - both of which I've had for years. The 3½" square centre topper was designed by myself in CraftArtist 2 using a Christmas digi kit and printed off. To finish off I added some green glitter pen and crystal loose glitter to the finished topper.

Here's everything I used:

Sugar Nellie - New ADU Rubber Stamp Launch

Good morning everyone.

I'm here today to show off one of the new rubber stamps from All Dress Up.  Sugar Nellie has partnered with ADU for this launch - the new stamps are available from the Funkykits online shop.

I used this little cutie - isn't she gorgeous!! She's available in grey rubber and she stamps beautifully and a dream to colour. I coloured her with Copic markers and added a little glitter.

Here's What I Did
I started with a 7" x 7" white card as my base.  I then die cut a rectangle in the centre of my patterned cardstock, and then another slightly smaller rectangle in my plain card stock. I layered up both pieces of cardstock sandwiching the die cut 'Lots Of Love' banner between them.  I stamped my image and coloured it with Copic pens, when it was finished I attached the cardstock frame on top using foam tape to raise it slightly. Everything was then attached to my card base and to finish off I added die cut flowers, pearls and a touch of glitter.

Here's What I Used
Stamp: 'Love My Kitty' rubber stamp available from Funkykits
Paper/Cardstock (CS): 7" x 7" Card Base, Yellow CS, Neenah CS, Dovecraft 'Garden Party'
Copics: Skin - E000, E000, E11, R20 / Hair & Cat - C1, C2, C3, C5, C7 / Shadow:  B000 / Clothes, Hat, Cat's Ribbon & Flowers - R000, R00, R20, R22 / Grass & Leaves: YG11, YG17, YG23 / Yellow Flower: Y00, Y15 / Dots : Y00, R20
Dies: MFT Die-namics 'Flower & Leaf Trio', MFT Die-namic 'Blueprint  3', Tattered Lace Rectangles and Washing Line 'Lots Of Love'
Other: Glitter, Pearls

Sweet Stampin' Challenge - Let It Snow

Good morning to you all.

Well, it's that time again ---- it's Sweet Stampin' day!!

Our theme this week is 'Let It Snow' - so I thought I would dust off one of my favourite wooden stamps; it's from Whipper Snapper and I've had it for years and it stamps beautifully. I decided I didn't want to make a card this week so I used this large MDF bauble tag that I bought a few weeks ago, it's made up of a circle back and a separate frame in which you can add a picture. It only cost a 99p so it was a bargain.

My stamped image was coloured with Copic markers, and the Northern Lights background was inspired by a lovely and extremely talented lady called Sandy Allnock. I'm not sure if it works or not, but I'll definitely be giving it another go as it was very liberating and I enjoyed doing it lol. If you get the chance definitely search for Sandy's blog and You Tube videos - they're amazing.

Here's What I did
Bauble - I covered the front frame with glitter glue using my fingers and sprinkled loose glitter where I missed certain places, and let it dry for an hour.

Topper - I stamped and coloured my image with Copic pens. The background was achieved by lightly adding different colour pen strokes from the bottom (snow line) upwards and then strokes downwards from the top of the image, varying them in length and intensity.  The rest of the image was coloured afterwards to avoid contamination.  To finish off the topper I added glitter to the snowy areas and white pen in the sky for snowdrops.  The topper was then stuck onto a red card mat and attached to the bauble back.  The front frame was then glued to the back sandwiching the topper between. To finish off I threaded ribbon through the top hole, added a few die cut snowflakes, gems and a bow.

Here's everything I used:
Stamp: Whipper Snapper 'Think Snow'
Paper/Cardstock (CS): Glitter CS, Neenah, Red CS
Copics: Snowman & Snow - B0000, B000, B12 / Penguins & Snowman Hat - C1, C2, C3, C5, C7 / Snowman Hat & Scarf, Penguins Hats, Snow Letters - R14, R17, R20, R37, R59 / Sign, Penguin Feet & Beaks, Snowman's Nose, Hat & Scarf - Y00, Y08, Y17, Y38 / Background - BG01, BG10, R20, R22, R37, BV000, BV02, BV04, G03, B12
Dies: MFT Die-namics 'Snowflakes', Tonic Layering 'Circles'
Other: MDF Bauble, Glitter Glue, Serif CraftArtist2, Glitter, Docraft Gems, Ribbon, White Pen

Sugar Bowl Challenge & Sugar Nellie DT - Joint Post

Good morning my sugary friends.

As both my Sugar Nellie and Sugar Bowl Design Team duties clash once again I have combine them together. The theme for the challenge over at The Sugar Bowl this month is Anything Goes, so grab your Sugar Nellie stamp and join the fun.

To see more Sugar Nellie creations made my lovely teamies why not drop by the Sugar Nellie blog or join our Facebook page (just search for the Official Sugar Nellie Group).

Here's What I Did
My white card base is A5 in size. This month I decided early on to make an CAS card because the image is so pretty I just wanted to concentrate purely on the colouring of her and show of her beauty. I wanted to show that you can made an elegant card simply by colouring an image and adding it to your card base with little or no embellishments, and these Floral Ladies digi stamps are just perfect for that. Note: the rest of the collection are equally as beautiful.

The digi image was printed directly onto my colouring cardstock (the background was done digitally), and then coloured with Copic markers and a few pencils.  The finished topper was then mounted onto coloured card and added to my card base. To finish off I added little bit of gold pen to the fan, a splash of glitter to flowers and a few gems.

Here's everything I used:
Digi Stamp: Floral Ladies by Sugar Nellie @ Funkykits
Paper/Cardstock (CS): Neenah, LOTV 'Bonnents & Bowties Solids' Paper Pad, Coloured CS
Copics: Skin - E0000, E000, E00, E02 / Hair - YR0000, YR000, YR00, E13, E15, E99 / Yellow Flowers - Y00, Y06, Y08, Y28, Y38, YR04 / Rose and Fan Top - R00, R02, R05, R20, R22, R29 / Fan Bottom - Y00, Y06, Y08 / Stems & Leaves - YG03, YG11
Other: Serif CraftArtist2, Gold Sharpie Pen, Glitter, Gems, Lyra Polycolour Pencils

So don't forget to drop by The Sugar Bowl and check out what the rest of my fabulous DT sweeties have created to inspire you; and why not join in with this month's challenge while you're there.

Just a little reminder  --- if you decide to enter the Sugar Bowl challenge  this month you can make anything you like, but you MUST use a stamp from the Sugar Nellie range. Both digital (instant download) and rubber stamps are available to buy from Funkykits. There's a fab prize up for grabs so it's definitely worth entering, so go on and spread the sugar love to all your friends.

I can't wait to see all your lovely makes. Have fun.

Happy 5th Birthday Sweet Stampin'

Yay Sweet Stampin' is 5 today!!!

Happy Birthday To Us - so to celebrate I've created a special birthday card just for the occasion. To see more birthday cards from our lovely Design Team, and to join in with this week's challenge go  to Sweet Stampin'

For my card this week I used a Mo Manning digi stamp, it's an old digi that Mo gave away for one of her challenges - however you can still buy her from Mo's online shop here. I've had her coloured up for ages so I thought I would give the poor thing a home on my CAS card.

Here's What I did
I used a white 5" x  5" card base which I matted with bright pink card. Then I die cut a circle in the middle of some pale pink card to create an inverted frame, behind which I added a small piece of  pretty flowery paper. As I mentioned Trudy was already coloured up with some promarkers - I think I coloured her approx a year ago and she looks pretty good! All I needed to do with Trudy was fussy cut her out, add a little sparkle and layer her up onto my card base. To finish off I added faux stitching, a die cut flower, my personal greeting to Sweet Stampin' and a few Candi.

Here's everything I used:
Stamp: 'Trudy Party Dress' by Mo Manning
Paper/Cardstock (CS): Pink CS, Trimcraft 'What A Hoot' Paper Pad
Promarkers: Unknown - sorry!!!
Dies: Tonic 'Circle' Layering Dies, MFT Die-namics Blueprint 'xxx'
Other: Glitter, Candi, Fineliner Pen

So come on why not join in with the fun and enter your card/project into our 'Happy Birthday' challenge we'd love to see you. REMEMBER you must include a stamped element on your card!

Sweet Stampin' Challenge - To Die For

Good morning to you all.

Well, it's here again ---- it's Sweet Stampin' time and the theme this week is To Die For.  The theme requires that you use at least 1 die along with a stamped element on your card or project. This theme is right up my street, it combines my 2 loves stamps and dies --- sssh, don't tell my hubbie!. Lol :)

I decided to share the Halloween card I made for my daughter - it's kind of a tradition with us as I make her a card every year. She loves Halloween, it's one of her favourite times of the year. My daughter really doesn't do cute so when I spotted this fab image from Mo Manning I knew I had to use it plus it reminded of a witchy character in a film my daughter likes. Of course I used the now traditional Halloween colour combo --- purple, orange and black.

Here's What I did
I used a 7" x  7" card base and matted it with black card. The orange and purple card mats were die cut in the middle to create an inverted frame. I used 2 dies - 1 of which was slightly smaller than the other to create the frame. Using CraftArtist 2 I added my digi stamp along some sparkle which I placed above her, along with some text. When I was happy with my layout I printed it out and coloured the stamp with Copic markers. The completed image was then matted behind the purple and orange cardstock and added to my card base. To finish off I added some die cut flowers, ribbon and a splash of glitter.

Here's everything I used:
Stamp: 'Hocus Pocus' by Mo Manning
Paper/Cardstock (CS): Craftwork Cards Super smooth Digital CS,  Basal Black, Orange & Purple CS
Copics: Skin - E000, E00, E02 / Hair & Cloak Trim - YR000, YR00, YR02, YR04 /  Dress - V01, V09, V12, V15/ Cloak - C1, C2, C3, C5, C7, 100 / Broom - E33, E37, E38 / Ground - W0, W1, W2, W3 / Earring - YG17
Dies: Go Kreate 'Large Frilly Frame #8' , MFT Die-namics 'Flower & Leaf Trio' and 'Prima Donna Petal'
Other: Serif CraftArtist2, Glitter, Ribbon, Button, Sharpie Gold Pen,

So why not drop by the Sweet Stampin' Challenge blog and check out what my fab Design Team girlies have made to inspire you. So come on why not join in with the fun and enter your card/project into our 'To Die For'challenge we'd love to see you. REMEMBER you must include a stamped element on your card!

Sugar Nellie DT Card - Belle Flower

Good morning sugar fans!

Wow, another has Thursday drifted past. Here in the UK the clocks have gone back an hour, Halloween's been and gone and Christmas is looming in a nice way. Where has this year gone - is it me or am I just getting old?

Anyhoo, it's my turn to share my little bit of sugary love with you today. I decided I didn't really want to do much colouring on my image this time so instead I decided to paper piece. For anyone who doesn't know what that is, it's where you stamp on print your image onto patterned papers, cut out the bits you want and glue them onto your main image (in my case I stamped my main image onto blue patterned paper). This stunning girl is a Leanne  Ellis rubber stamp called 'Belle Flower' and she's available to buy from Funkykits the home of Sugar Nellie.

Don't forget if you want to see more Sugar Nellie creations made my lovely teamies why not drop by the Sugar Nellie blog or join our Facebook page (just search for the Official Sugar Nellie Group).

Here's What I Did
I started with a 7" x 7" cream card base on which I added my patterned paper that I'd inked at the edges. I stamped my main image onto blue papered paper and cut to size, I then stamped the image onto Neenah cardstock so that I could colour her hair and skin with Copic markers. The image was stamped again onto 2 different blue patterned papers from Lili Of The Valley, and everything was cut out. I glued the dress, frill and flower to the completed girl, and she was added to the main image using foam pads. The leaves and flower were also glued into place on the main image. To finish off I added die cut flowers, gems and a touch of glitter.
Here's What I Used
Stamp: Sugar Nellie 'Belle flower' available from Funkykits
Paper/Cardstock (CS): 7" x 7" Card Base, Cream & Blue, Neenah Cardstock, LOTV 'Petal Fresh' and 'Bonnets & Bowties-Solid'
Copics: Skin - E000, E00, E02 / Hair - C1, C2, C3, C5, C7, 100 / Shadow & Folds - B0000, B93
Dies: MFT Die-namics 'Flower & Leaf Trio', Britannia Multi Rose, Spellbinder Shapeabilities 'Frame One', Creative Expressions-Sue Wilson 'Curled Vines'
Other: Serif CraftArtist 2, Glitter, Gem, Distressing Ink, Pearls,

Don't forget to  join us in our challenge over at the Sugar Bowl - there's still  time to enter with a great prize up for grabs. The theme this month is 'Anything Goes' so it's really easy. DON'T FORGET TO ENTER THE CHALLENGE YOU MUST USE a Sugar Nellie stamp.

I look forward to seeing you soon.

Inky Chicks - Down On The Farm

Good evening everyone!

So on this dark Tuesday evening I'm here to share my Inky Chicks DT card with you, and the theme this week is Down On The Farm.  I struggled at first with the theme but then I remember I had this gorgeous stamp from Sugar Nellie called Goosey Gander. I decided to keep the colour scheme simple - blue, white and yellow and on a DL card too. The stamp from Sugar Nellie is available from Funkykits in both rubber and as a digital download.

Here's What I did
The card base is a scalloped edged DL card. I matted some gingham paper onto blue cardstock and rounded  off the corners, this was then added to the card base. The digital image was printed onto my Neenah cardstock and coloured with Copic pens. I inked up the edges of the finished image with some distressing ink, and then stamped a few cross stitched hearts in the background. I cut to size a piece of blue card and added a pretty edge using a Martha Stewart punch. My completed topper was then added to the card along with some complimentary ribbon. To finish off I added some flowers and a few leaves.

Here's everything I used:
Stamp: Goosey Gander by Sugar Nellie @ Funkykits, Inkydoodles 'Country Checks'
Paper/Cardstock (CS): Neenah, Gingham Paper (Old stock so not sure where from), Blue CS

I look forward to seeing what you create.

On another note - you would have normally seen my Digi Queen card today for Polkadoodles, but I stepped down from their Design Team early last week due to other commitments both personal and crafty.

Furthermore, the Digi Queen DT is sadly no longer in operation as of a few days ago. Thankfully the two are not related. I want to take this opportunity to wish Nikky and the Polkadoodles DT continued success and look forward to seeing their makes.

Sweet Stampin' - Shaped Card

Good morning to you all.

Well, it's here again ---- it's Sweet Stampin' time and the theme this week is Shaped Card.  I had such a fab time making my card this week and there was no colouring required - just stamping and cutting out. I just love this owl it's such a cutie - and even better it was a magazine freebie. There's another owl in the set so I might have a go at making a boy owl next time a suitable challenge comes up....so watch this space.

Here's What I did
I made my card base by folding a piece of card in half, then placing my scalloped circle die slight over the folded edge and then die cutting it. Because I don't like to see the flat fold edge of the card, I die cut another single scalloped circle and I glue it over the top of front of the card.  I die cut 2 circle mats one from Kraft card, and the other from coloured card on which I stamped my base image; both mats were then attached them to the card front.  To add a little detail I penned faux stitching around the edge of the coloured mat. The owl and branch were stamped several times onto different coloured cardstock all from the same pad, I then cut out the sections I wanted, and glued them in place on the base image. To finish off I added die cut clouds, glossy accents to her eyes and punched out stars.  If you find the information about how I made my card base confusing, leave me a comment and I post pictures of how I did it.

Here's everything I used:
Stamp: Woodware 'Owls' - Crafting Magazine Feebie
Paper/Cardstock (CS): White CS, Kraft CS, Trimcraft 'What A Hoot' Paper Pad
Dies: Spellbinders Grand Nestabilities 'Scallop Circle', Tonic Layering Dies 'Circle', Joy! 'Clouds'
Other: Black Fineliner Pen, Glossy Accents, Distressing Ink

So why not drop by the Sweet Stampin' Challenge blog and check out what my fab Design Team girlies have made to inspire you. So come on why not join in with the fun and enter your card/project into our 'Shaped Card' challenge we'd love to see you. REMEMBER you must include a stamped element on your card!

This week's sponsor and prize is Crafts U Love.

I look forward to seeing what you create.

Sugar Nellie DT Card & Sugar Bowl Challenge #118

Good morning my sugary friends.

As both my Sugar Nellie and Sugar Bowl Design Team duties clash today I decided to combine them together. I know you'll probably be preparing for Halloween, dark nights and cold autumn days, but if you're anything like me you're probably already starting to think about Christmas cards, and Christmas lists and so on. So to get you in the mood I thought I would make a Christmas card using the digi stamp 'Forest Friends' - isn't it cute. The theme for the challenge over at The Sugar Bowl this month is Anything Goes, so grab your Sugar Nellie stamp and join the fun.

To see more Sugar Nellie creations made my lovely teamies why not drop by the Sugar Nellie blog or join our Facebook page (just search for the Official Sugar Nellie Group)

Here's What I Did
I used a shaped white card base and matted and layered die cut cardstock on top. I printed off the sweet Sugar Nellie image and die cut it into a circle, together with a scalloped circle mat. The image was coloured with Copic markers and touched up with pencils, to add a little interest I stamped snowflakes around the circle using distressing inks. To finish off I added a die cut snowflake and a wooden one together with some gems and a touch of glitter.

Here's everything I used:
Digi Stamp:  Forest Friends by Sugar Nellie @ Funkykits
Paper/Cardstock (CS): Craftwork Cards 'Super Smooth', Hobbycraft Christmas Paper Pack, HobbyCraft A4 Christmas Card Pack
Copics: Skin - E0000, E000, E00, E02 / Hair - C1, C2, C3, C5, C7, 100 / Jacket, Boots, Ribbons, Presents (Red) - R35, R37 / Toggles & Sledge - Y35 / Fawn - E15, E33, E35, E51 / Hat, Socks, Presents (Green) - G03 / Squirrels - E13, E08/ Robins - E33, E35, R30 / Ground - B000, B00, BG10
Prisma Pencils - Dark Green, Olive Green, Grass Green, Canary Yellow, Goldenrod, Peach, Salmon Pink, Rouge Carmine, Crimson Lake, Sienna Brown, Burnt Ochre, Light Umber
Dies: Tonic Layering Circles and Scallop Circle, MFT Die-namics 'Snowflakes'
Other: Serif CraftArtist2, Gems, Glitter, Distressing Inks

So don't forget to drop by The Sugar Bowl and check out what the rest of my fabulous DT sweeties have created to inspire you; and why not join in with this month's challenge while you're there.

Just a little reminder  --- if you decide to enter the Sugar Bowl challenge you can make anything you like but you MUST use a stamp from the Sugar Nellie store. Both digital (instant download) and rubber stamps are available to buy from Funkykits.

There's a fab prize up for grabs so it's definitely worth entering, so go on and spread the sugar love to all your friends.

I can't wait to see all your lovely makes. Have fun.

Hugs
