Lili of The Valley - Cupcakes, Stamps & Papers #2

I'm Back Again

Afternoon everyone, I'm back with another Lili of The Valley card. Again I'm using one of the new digi stamps and papers which launch today in the LOV Etsy shop. As mentioned in my previous post the launch includes a selection of animal cupcake stamps and sentiments, digital gold foil circles & splashes, plus some stunning papers as well as the long awaited polymer stamps. As mentioned this morning, the A5 'Cupcake Animals' and 'Vintage Boy' stamp sets include 5 different stamps and some sentiment. The polymer stamp sheets will be available to pre-order. The images are also available as Simply Prints.

For this afternoon's card I have used 'Cupcake Monkey', one of the papers from the 'Rainbow Kaleidoscope' collection, plus one of the gold foil circles and splashes. This time my card is a lot more vibrant, I just love these papers they're simply gorgeous. I used Copic pens to colour with. I hope you like it. x

For your information, here is the link to the LOTV Etsy Store to check out all the digi stampsand the LOTV online store to check out the rest of their goodies.

Here's What I Did
First I printed off the beautiful patterned paper onto some good quality printer paper and trimmed it down to fit my card front, leaving a slim border around the edge.

Next using my graphics software I add the paper again, and digitally cut out a circle and placed it behind the beautiful gold circle. The cupcake monkey, sentiment and gold splashes were placed over the top of the circle. I resized all the elements to fit my project and printed it directly onto colouring card. The monkey image was coloured in using Copic pens then die cut it into a circle. The completed image was glued onto a die cut circle cut from gold glitter card.

Funky foam was added to the back of the finished topper, and glued to the centre of the card front. To finish the card I added glitter to all the stars and splashes, plus a few white dots to the party hat.

Lili Of The Valley - 'I Baked A Cake' Simply Print

Hi everyone

For today's  cardI'm sharing one that I made for my daughter to give to her cousin who is turning 21st birthday on Wednesday. I used one of the Lili Of The Valley Simply Prints which printed out beautifully, it's called 'I Baked A Cake'. The pre-coloured Simply prints comes PDF's and include 3 page of pre-sized images in A5, A6 and A7. Brilliant for quick card. I hope you like it.

For your information, here is the link to the LOTV Etsy Store to check out all the digi stampsand the LOTV online store to check out the rest of their goodies.

Here's What I Did
To start with a piece of pink patterned paper was trimmed down to completely cover the front  of the 6" x 6" card. Another piece of plain pink paper from the same pad was cut down and die cut at the top and bottom with a scalloped border die. This was glued in place across the card.

Next I opened the PDF file of the Simply Print images, then clicked onto one of the images to activate the copy option, and copied it. I opened my graphics program and selected paste, this added the image into the program. Next I typed up a sentiment and placed it next to the image, both were then resized to fit my project. Everything was printed directly onto digital printer paper and die cut into a circle, then added to a scalloped circle cut from gold mirror card. Funky foam was glued to the back of the circle and the topper was attached to the card front. To finish the card I added a die cut '21' from pink card, a little glitter and a few pearls.

Here's What I Used
Simply Print: I Baked A Cake
Digi Stamp: Uncoloured digi stamp can be found here
Font: Kismet Normal

Other: 6" x 6" White Card Blank, Pro Print Paper, Gold Mirror Card, Stitched Scalloped Circle Dies (Creative Expressions), Stitched Scalloped Border Dies (Lawn Fawn), Alphabet Dies (Trimcraft), Funky Foam, Glue, Double Sided Tape, Enamel Dots, Pearls

Lili Of The Valley - Vintage Boys #3

Hi there

I'm back today with more Lili Of The Valley cuteness. The card I've made was part of the 'Vintage Boy' launch but didn't get time to share. For this fabulous male card I used Copic pens to colour with and I layered it up to give it dimension. I used the digi stamp 'Racing Green', 3 of the digital paper from the 'Dusty Pastels' collection and another of the sentiments from the 'Grunge Stamp' set. The image is available as a digi stamp and a pre-coloured, pre-sized versions as a Simply Prints PDF's. All the links are below the photo section. I hope you like it. x

For your information, here is the link to the LOTV Etsy Store to check out all the digi stampsand the LOTV online store to check out the rest of their goodies.

Here's What I Did
A piece of grey patterned paper was trimmed down and added to the front of a DL white card blank leaving a slim border around the edge.

Using my graphics program I created a rectangle slightly larger than the die I was planning to use and layered up 3 of the pastel papers to create a background scene (minus the clouds). I added the racing car and the sentiment on top of the background and resized it accordingly. FYI - the 'Husband' sentiment was recoloured white. The scene was printed directly onto colouring card and die cut into a rectangle, the driver was then coloured in using Copic pens. The panel was then mounted onto a deep red scalloped mat and added to the card front.

The racing car image was printed out again and coloured with Copic pens apart from the driver, then fussy cut out. Foam pads were added to the back of the car, and placed over directly over the car printed on the card front. To finish the card I added a few die cut clouds to the sky and glossy pen to the headlight and goggles.

Here's What I Used
Digi Stamp: Racing Green
Digital  Paper: Dusty Pastels Set
Digital Sentiment: Grunge Stamps
The Grunge Stamps & Typewriter Set can be found here
Simply Print: Racing Green

Other: DL White Card Blank, Make It Colour, White & Red Card, Nested Scalloped Slims (Lisa Horton), Cloud Dies (Joy!), Grey Patterned Paper Pad (Hobbycraft), Clear Gloss Pen, Foam Pads, Glue, Double Sided Tape

Lili Of The Valley - Flower Wreath 70th

  Hello everyone

Today I'm sharing a card I recently made for a friend who was turning 70. I loved the LOTV release 'Circle Floral Frames with Beautiful  Messages' and the blue floral card I made. These flower frames are gorgeous and includes lots of different messages inside plus one that is blank along with lots of separate sentiments. The one I used is called 'Happy Birthday' and I added a pink '70' to it. I used Copic pens to colour the wreath and flowers. I hope you like it. (This card is not for sale, but I can make one similar on request - £4.95 inc P&P - UK only)

For your information, here is the link to the LOTV Etsy Store to check out all the digi stampsand the LOTV online store to check out the rest of their goodies.

Here's What I Did
To start with I covered the front of a 6 x 6" scalloped card blank with some pretty pink paper leaving a slim border around the edge. Using my graphics software I imported the gorgeous flower frame, plus one of the pre-designed sentiments then added the '70' in a bold pink font. Everything was resized to fit my project. The image was printed onto colouring cardstock and die cut with a decorative circle die. Everything was coloured in using Copic pens apart from the flowers. Funky foam was added to the back of the completed topper to give it some height, and then attached to the centre of the card.

The image was printed again onto colouring cardstock but this time only the flowers were coloured in. The flowers were fussy cut out and added to the card front using foam pads, directly over their counterpart on the main image. To finish the card I added a little glitter to the flowers along with a few pearls around the frame.

Here's What I Used

Copic Pens: Leaves - YG01, YG03, YG17, YG23, YG63, YG67 / Flowers & Berries - RV00, RV10, RV13, RV14, V12, V15, BG10, BG11, BG13, Y17

Other: 6" x 6" White Scalloped Card Blank, Make It Colour Blending Card, Decorative Nested Circle Dies (Craft Buddy), Pearls, Pastel Dreams Paper Pad (LOTV), Glitter, Glue, Double Sided Tape, Funky Foam, Foam Pads
