Amanda Jayne Designs - A Latte Love #1

Happy Autumn Everyone

So once again I've teamed up with my fellow Design Teammates over at Amanda Jayne Designs to promote one of Amanda's digi bundles. The digi set is called A Latte Love and it includes - 2 x uncoloured and 2  x pre-coloured digi stamps plus a set of 10 x digital paper. The ladies in my team and myself are each sharing a card today and tomorrow (Sunday), all using the same sets to show how differently they can be used. I hope you like them. x

For my card today I have created a CAS card with strips of the lovely digital paper from the set, along with one of the digi stamps which I coloured with Copic pens.

FYI - Amanda has lots of  lovely digi stamp, papers and sentiments in her Etsy shop, along with some pre-coloured images and papers. Here is the link to the Amanda Jayne Designs Etsy Store to check out all the digi stamps and papers.

Here's What I Did
I printed out the pale orange dotty paper from the bundle then trimmed it down to cover the card front. This was glued in place. The digi stamp was imported into my software, and resized to fit my project. The stamp was coloured up with Copic pens then fussy cut out.

I chose 4 of the digital papers and imported them into my software and cropped them down to approx 2.5" high to get them all onto a A4 sheet (and as not to waste my ink as well as card). On top of the pale orange piece I typed a sentiment in the middle of it. The sheet was printed off onto thin card.

The patterned papers were all cut down to ½" high strips, apart from one which I cut into a very thin strip (I used a die), they were all glued across a 5" square and trimmed off. The square was mounted onto a fancy edged square cut from brown card, and the completed topper was glued flat onto the card front. To finish the card, the boy stamp was added to the front using foam pads along with a few die cut leaves.

Here's What I Used

Amanda Jayne Designs - Witch On Broom & Scene Builder #2

Afternoon Everyone

As I mentioned yesterday I've teamed up with Design Team at Amanda Jayne Designs to showcase her brand new Halloween set called Witch On Broom & Scene Builder. We have each shared our cards over this weekend to show how differently you can use the stamps. I hope you like them. x

For my card today I have gone all digital! I used my Ipad Pro, pencil and the Procreate app to create the spooky scene you can see below. 💙

FYI - Amanda has lots of  lovely digi stamp, papers and sentiments in her Etsy shop, along with some pre-coloured images and papers. Here is the link to the Amanda Jayne Designs Etsy Store to check out all the digi stamps and papers.

Here's What I Did
Using my Ipad Pro, pencil, digital brushes and the Procreate app. I imported the witch and a few of the other elements from the set into the app and set about creating a spooky backdrop eg sky, clouds and a hillside. I digitally coloured and manipulated all stamp images. To finish it off I added some leaves/flowers along the hillside, plus my own Halloween sentiment.

When the scene was finished I printed it off onto mixed media card for a little texture ( I used high quality print setting). The picture was cut it down to 5½" x 5½" and added to the front of a 6" x 6" card blank.

If you would like to know which digital brushes etc I used, just email me (address on the right side).

Here's What I Used

Used: 6" x 6" Black Card Blank, Mixed Media Card (Canson), 'Square' Die (Tattered Lace), White Pen, Double Sided Tape

Amanda Jayne Designs - Witch On Broom & Scene Builder #1

Afternoon Everyone

This week I've teamed up with the DT at Amanda Jayne Designs to showcase a brand new Halloween set called Witch On Broom & Scene Builder. Lisa and I are each sharing a card today and tomorrow (Sunday) using the same sets to show how differently they can be used. I hope you like them. x

For my card today I have created a framed arched window that peeks out at the witch on her broom, with a brightly coloured sky. I also used some of the extras to enhance my card.

FYI - Amanda has lots of  lovely digi stamp, papers and sentiments in her Etsy shop, along with some pre-coloured images and papers. Here is the link to the Amanda Jayne Designs Etsy Store to check out all the digi stamps and papers.

Here's What I Did
I die cut an arch window aperture into the front of a 5" x 7" card front blank. Using the same die and a slightly smaller one, I die cut a thin frame from the same black card - I did this 4 times and glued them together.

A piece of watercolour card was trimmed down slightly smaller than the 5" x 7" card blank, to create a panel. I applied and blended different coloured distress inks onto the panel, going from yellow at the bottom to purple at the top (see the list below). Using black distress ink and a couple of stencils I added some clouds to create the sky, then splashed white chalk paint all over it. When the panel was dry I glued it to the front of the card behind the aperture.

The witch/broom, pumpkins and grave stones were imported into my software, then resized to suit my project. The images was printed onto watercolour card, coloured with distress re-inkers and fussy cut out.

Next I die cut a circle from white card and applied a little yellow and orange ink to create a moon, this was glued onto the sky. The witch with her broom was glued over the moon.

Using the small arch die I cut another shape from the same black card, then die cut it again with a hill border die. This was glued inside the aperture as a little hill, and the die cut word 'Boo' coloured with inks, was added alongside a few coloured pumpkins and gravestones. To complete the card, I added a little sparkle to the witch, a few white dots and stars.

Here's What I Used

Distress Re-inkers: Witch --- Skin - Tattered Rose, Tea Dye, Spun Sugar / Hair - Squeezed Lemonade, Carved Pumpkin, Tea Dye / Dress, Hat Trim & Boots, Tights - Wilted Violet, Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn / Hat - Hickory Smoke, Squeezed Lemonade, Wilted Violet, Black Soot / Broom - Tea Dye, Vintage Photo, Rusty Hinge / Book - Hickory Smoke, Squeezed Lemonade, Twisted Citron / Pumpkin - Carved Pumpkin, Spiced Marmalade, Mowed Lawn / Grave Stones - Hickory Smoke, Squeezed Lemonade, Carved Pumpkin / BOO - Squeezed Lemonade, Spiced Marmalade

Distress Ink: Sky - Squeezed Lemonade, Spiced Marmalade, Crushed Olive, Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean, Shaded Lilac, Wilted Violet, Faded Jeans, Picked Raspberry, Dusty Concord / Clouds - Black Soot

Other: 5" x 7" Black Top Fold Card Blank, Watercolour Card (Ecoline), White & Black Card, White Glitter Card, 'Circle' Die (Tattered Lace), 'Arched Window' Die Set (Hunkydory), 'Stitched Hillside Border Die (Lawn Fawn), 'Alphabet' Die Set (XCut), 'Space' Die Set (Paper Smooches), Small & Large 'Cloud' Stencils (MFT), White Chalk Paint, White Pen, Glue, Double Sided Tape, Funky Foam,

Amanda Jayne Designs - Halloween Cuties Bundle

Hi everyone

I'm sharing my latest card using one of Amanda Jayne Designs images.  For my card today I used cute little dragon from the 'Halloween Cuties Bundle' - the bundle includes 8 character digi stamps and 32 digital papers. Daisy the dragon was coloured with Copic pens and added to a 3D haunted house card base with flying bats.

Amanda has a lovely array of digi stamp, papers and sentiments in her Etsy shop, along with some pre-coloured images and papers. For your information, here is the link to the Amanda Jayne Designs Etsy Store or go to Etsy and search for Amanda Jane Designs 80 to check out all her lovely digi stamps and papers.

Here's What I Did
I imported the cute dragon into my software program, and it resized it to fit my project then printed it onto Copic friendly card. The dragon was coloured using my Copic pens and then fussy cut out. I typed up a sentiment, printed and cut it out with a banner die.

Using my Silhouette cutting machine design software I created a card base for the haunted house cutting file I had already had; everything was cut out along with an orange background to go behind the house. Using a couple of Copic pens I added extra colour to the door and windows. A couple of bats were also cut out using the cutting machine, and acetate strips were attached to the back of them

The black cut out house and orange background were stuck to the card front, with the bat acetate strips inserted in between them. To finish the card both the sentiment and dragon were added to the card front.

Here's What I Used
Digi Stamps: 'Halloween Cuties Bundle'

Copic Pencils: Dragon - YG01, YG03, YG23, YG67, BG10, BG11, BG13, BG49 / Pumpkin - Y17, YR15, YR16, E08, E31, E33, E35 / Haunted house Windows - YR00, YR02

As I mentioned in my previous post the new sets include - Little Ghosts, Hello Pumpkin, Cute Witches, Spooky Silhouettes, Halloween Gnomes and Autumn Sentiment Tags.

For my cards today I used the 'Little Ghosts' stamp set again, I love these little ghosts as they're a lovely size -approx 2"-2½" high, and so easy to colour up. I decided to create a couple of Halloween party invites as they're really good for batch making. I used Prismacolor pencils and grey card designed for pastel pencils, to give them a little texture. Next the cute ghosts and a couple of sentiments were stamped onto grey card and die cut using a square die. The images were then coloured up using Prismacolor pencils, and finally mounted onto fancy edged black die cut squares. The completed toppers were glued to the front of the card blanks. Glossy accents was added to all the eyes on both cards to make them shine.

To finish the cards, I added die cut black stars and a little glitter to the pumpkin and wand.

Lili Of The Valley - Little Ghosts

 Hi there everyone

I'm sharing more of my Lili Of The Valley cards using another of the new polymer stamps sets which have just launched in the LOTV Etsy store. The new sets include - Little Ghosts, Hello Pumpkin, Cute Witches, Spooky Silhouettes, Halloween Gnomes and Autumn Sentiment Tags. For my cards today I used the 'Little Ghosts' stamp set, which are really cute and so easy to colour up. To keep everything fresh looking I've kept the colours to 2 per card plus a little grey.  I hope you like them.

For your information, here is the link to the LOTV Etsy Store to check out all the stampsand the LOTV online store to check out the rest of their goodies.

CARD #1

Here's What I Did & Used
The process was the same on both cards. I stamped the cute ghosts and a sentiment onto colouring cardstock at different angles. When everything was stamped, it was die cut with a rectangle die, and in some cases the ghosts had a little cropped off to add a little extra interest. The images were coloured using Copic pens using only 2 colourways on each card including a little grey. The scenes were then mounted onto a black die cut rectangle and then onto their respective colour mats - either purple or orange.

The completed toppers were mounted onto 5" x 7" top fold black card blanks. Glossy accents was added to all the eyes on both cards to make them shine. To finish the cards, I added die cut stars and glitter to all the main focal points.

Polymer Stamp Set: Little Ghosts

Copics Pens: Ghosts - C1, C2 / Accessories - YG01, YG03, YG17, E31, E35, C2, C3, C5, C7, Y15, Y17, YR07, YR15, YR16, V12, V15, V17

Other: Black 5" x 7" Card Blanks, Make It Colour Blending Card, Black, Orange, Purple, Green Card, Mats & Layers Die Set (Crafters Companion), Swirly Stars Die Set (Sizzix), Glossy Accents, Glitter, Double Sided Tape, Glue

CARD #1

Here's What I Did & Used
I stamped the cute witch and a sentiment onto colouring cardstock and die cut with a square die. The image was stamped again onto masking paper and fussy cut out, the mask was placed over the top of the witch and her moon. I added distressing inks all over the paper to create the sky (see the list below), then splash a little water over it. To add a little more interest I watered down some white and black chalk paint, then splashed a little over the sky area as well. I did add a few extra dots using a black and white pen. I repeated the inky process again to create a sheet of galaxy paper which I trimmed down add to the front of a black card blank, leaving a slim border around the edge.

Once everything was dry the paper mask was removed from the witch/moon, and it was coloured using Copic pens. The scene was then mounted onto a black die cut square and funky foam was glued to the back. The complete topper was glued to the card front. To finish the card, I added a few die cut stars and a little glitter to the wand.

CARD #2

Here's What I Did & Used
A piece of Halloween paper was trimmed down and add to the front of a black card blank, leaving a slim border around the edge. The witch, cauldron and a sentiment were stamped onto colouring cardstock and die cut it into a square. The images were stamped out again onto masking paper and fussy cut out, the masks were placed over the top of the images. Grey distress ink was applied around the square to create a moody atmosphere, then lots of dots using a black, orange and green pen were added over the top.

Once the ink was dry the paper masks were removed, and everything was coloured using Copic pens. The scene was then mounted onto a black die cut square and funky foam was glued to the back. The complete topper was glued to the card front. To finish the card, I added a few die cut stars along with little glitter to the wand and cauldron.

Amanda Jayne Designs - As You Like It Challenge

Hi everyone

I'm sharing my latest card which I've made for the 'As You Like It Challenge' blog. was asked by my lovely friend and fellow DT member Annette if I would be a Guest DT member and create a card using one of Amanda Jayne Designs images, and use my favourite shaped card. So for my card I used a fabulous image, sentiment and plus one of the digi papers from the Halloween bundle 'Hey Pumpkin'. The background was created digitally whilst the Halloween hippo and pumpkins were coloured with Copic pens. (For sale - £4.50 + P&P - requests by email please)

Here's What I Did
I printed out one of the Halloween  paper and trimmed it down to fit the 6" x 6" card blank leaving a slim border around the edge. I imported the hippo and his pumpkins into my software program along with a couple of extra pumpkins, which I placed behind him. To add a little extra interest I added an orange circle and a sentiment to the scene, placing it behind the hippo and pumpkins. I created an orange dotted frame around everything, and then resized the whole scene to fit my project. I printed out everything onto Copic friendly card, then coloured it up using my pens. The completed scene was die cut into a square and matted onto black card. To finish the card I added black die cut stars then added the finished topper to the front of the card.

Here's What I Used
Digi Stamps: Amanda Jayne Designs - Hey Pumpkin Bundle

Lili Of The Valley - Halloween #3

Morning Everyone

Well its the weekend and here again, and wow where are the weeks and months going. It's definitely been a year of craziness! So to calm things down and share some loveliness or should I say spookniness with you, I have a Lili Of The Valley Halloween card for you. I used one of the fabulous new digi stamps and sentiments which is available individually or as part of a big bundle.

The Collection
The collection includes cute witches, wizards, spooky accessories, sentiments and digital papers all in different designs. The images are in 3 different format --- a transparent sky in a solid white square (PNG) - perfect to overlaying over paper, a white PNG image with a fully transparent background - perfect for overlaying over digi papers with no edges or borders, and a JPG image with a solid white background. If you do buy any of the digi stamps and papers, and you need any help please do not hesitate to ask, and I will do my best to assist you. Please email me at: jsnine.quinn@gmail.com

FYI, if you struggle using digi stamps or haven't got a suitable software package on your computer check out my 'Tutorials' page on this blog or in the 'Files' section on the 'We Love Lili Of The Valley' facebook group (if you are a member) as I've written 4 pictorial tutorials on how to download a free software program called WPS Office and then how to use it with digi stamps.

For your information, here is the link to the LOTV Etsy Store to check out all the digi stampsand the LOTV online store to check out the rest of their goodies.

Here's What I Did
First I trimmed down 2 pieces of 6" x 6" patterned paper (it's all I had) and added them to the front of a 5" x 7" black card blank leaving a slim border edge around the edge. I die cut a scalloped border and added it across the card to hide the join.

I imported the cute little witch, her cauldron and the sentiment plus a few of my own stars into my graphics program, then resized them to fit my project. The complete scene was printed directly onto colouring cardstock. As the paper is really thin I glued it onto a piece of thin card and then die cut it into a rectangle. The little scene was coloured up using pencils, and white dots were add,. When it was finished funky foam was glued to the back to raise it up. The topper was attached to the centre of the card front.

To finish the card off I added a few gems to the bottom of the card and 2 die cut stars at the top.

Here's What I Used
Digital Stamp: The Cauldron Girl (I used the white PNG with a fully transparent background with floor)
