 Morning Everyone

Helen Kirkham will be showcasing their products including the newest collection 'Little Ones' by Helz Cuppleditch. You can watch Hobby Maker TV, live on Freeview channel 73, Sky channel 670, or Virgin Media 754. You can also watch them via their website, mobile app, or YouTube.

For today's card I've used the really sweet giraffe stamp along with one of the papers, and used distress re-inkers to colour with. (see links below)

In the USA, it will be distributed by Notions Marketing. You can also go direct to the Craft Consortium's website here and sign up for an update on any future product launches.

This Is What I Did
I trimmed down a piece of pink patterned paper from the 'Little Ones' paper pad to fit the front of a 6" x 6" white card blank. Next I stamped the cute giraffe onto watercolour card with black ink, and coloured it with distress re-inks. The scene was stamped again onto masking paper and cut out, this was placed over the top of the image, and pink distress ink was applied over the top.

When the scene was dry it was die cut into a rounded square and mounted onto a pink scalloped frame. The frame was die cut 3 times from white card and once from pink paper, and glued together. Funky foam was added to the back to give dimension, and mounted onto the front of the card front.

I die cut a sentiment and heart from white card  (3 times) and once from pink paper, they were glued together and added to the card front. Glitter was added to some of the flowers and the heart. To finish the card, I added a few pink dew drops around the sentiment.

Lili Of The Valley - Baby #2

Hi there

As promised, I'm back again with another Lili of the Valley card using one of the new digi stamps. For this card I have used 'Girl With Balloon' stamp. FYI, the image also includes one with a circle behind her and they are sent in PNG and JPG format. The sentiment is from the 'Simply Baby Greetings' set  and can be found in the shop. I used Copics to colour with. I hope you like it. x

For your information, here is the link to the LOTV Etsy Store to check out all the digi stampsand the LOTV online store to check out the rest of their goodies.

Here's What I Did
I covered the front of a 6" x 6" scalloped card blank with pretty pink paper, leaving a slim border around the edge. A pretty doily die cut circle was then glued flat into the centre of the card front.

Using my graphics software I imported the gorgeous little girl image and a sentiment, then resized them both to fit my project. The image and sentiment were printed directly onto colouring cardstock and die cut with a circle die. The image was coloured in using Copic pens and the finished picture was mounted onto a pink scalloped circle. Funky foam was glued to the back of the circle and attached to the card front directly over the white doily. Glitter was added to the stars. To finish the card I added a few die cut baby embellishments and some pearls.

Here's What I Used
Digital Sentiment: Simple Baby Greetings

Copics: Skin - E11, E13, E25 / Balloon, Outfit & Socks - RV00, RV10, RV13, RV21 / Starts Y15, Y17 / Ground - W00, W01, W02, W03

Lili of The Valley - Baby #1

 Afternoon everyone

This week I'll be sharing some card highlighting some of the new digi stamps from Lili Of the Valley, plus a slightly old stamp. Today's 'Boy with balloon' card is made using one of the new baby stamps, there are 4 new stamps in total (2 versions of the baby girl stamp and 2 of the boy stamp), and they are in JPG and PNG format. They're all adorable. The sentiment elements are from a previous launch, and can be found in the shop (see the link below). The digi stamps will be available to buy in the LOTV Etsy store on Friday 28th May; once they have launched I will add the links to this post. I hope you like it. x

Using my graphics software I imported the gorgeous little boy image and a sentiment, then resized them both to fit my project. The image and sentiment were printed directly onto colouring cardstock and die cut with a circle die. The image was coloured in using Copic pens, and mounted onto a scalloped die cut circle that was cut from pretty heart paper. The topper was glued flat onto a scalloped square mat cut from blue card, then funky foam was added to the back. The whole topper was attached to the centre of the card front. Glitter was added to the stars. To finish the card I added die cut yellow glitter stars and baby embellishments.

Funky foam was added to the back of the topper and the whole thing was glued to the front of the card.

To complete the card I added die cut flowers and leaves, along with a few pearls.

Lili Of The Valley - Baby Collection 2021

 Happy New Year everyone

Here's hoping 2021 is a healthier, happier and safer year. Well in the few days it has taken me to write this post and add my picture we have gone from Tier 4 restrictions in my area, to a full national lockdown here in the UK. If you're not from the UK, that means we must not leave or be outside of your home or garden except where you have a ‘reasonable excuse’ eg for work, one hour of exercise, essential shopping or for medical appointments. All our non essential shops, leisure, and hair & beauty facilities etc are all closed. We are going to be in this lockdown until the middle of February, so fingers crossed things improve soon and the infection rate slows down. Stay safe and healthy people. If you are struggling and need a chat please email me as I'm happy to help (my address is on the right).  x

To lighten the mood, I'm sharing my latest card using one of the gorgeous Lili Of The Valley new baby digi stamps being released on Friday 8th January. The stamp is called 'Baby Hammock' and I've teamed it up with the 'Congratulations' sentiment from a previously released collection (I added the 'To You All' myself using the Times New Roman font). I chose to make the card for a boy, and I used Copic pens to colour it up. I hope you like him. (This card will be added to my Etsy store to buy).

For your information, here is the link to the LOTV Etsy Store to check out all the digi stampsand the LOTV online store to check out the rest of their goodies.

Here's What I Did
I used a 6" x 6" white scalloped card and matted it with green card.  After cutting a piece of patterned paper to size I die cut it with a pin hole effect die, this was then add it to the card front. The boy image and a sentiment was printed directly onto the colouring card then coloured with Copic pens. The finished image was die cut into a circle and I added a few stamped elements around the images (these are not from LOTV). Another circle was cut from blue card using a fancy edge die, and the boy image was glued on top.

Funky foam was added to the back of the circle topper, and then added to the card front. To complete the card I added 3 green pearls to the bottom area, and a little glitter to the stars and hearts.

Here's What I Used
Individual Digi Stamp: Baby Hammock
Digi stamps - 19 Baby Images - Whole Collection
Sentiment - Handwritten Phrases (Congratulations)

Copics Pens: Skin - E0000, E000, E00, E02, E11 / Hammock - B0000, B000, B00, B12, B14, B32, YG00, YG01, YG03, YG23 / Baby Outfit - YG00, YG01, YG03, YG2, YG63 / Toys - E31, E33, E35

Lili Of The Valley (LOTV) - March #3 Card

Morning everyone💜

I'm back with one of my latest Lili Of The Valley (LOTV) cards for you. For this weeks' card I thought I would play with a baby card for you. I just adore all of the LOTV stamps especially the baby section. The digi stamp I used this week is called 'Bunny Cuddles' and it's available from the Etsy store as an instant download. I used Copic pens to colour everything with. I hope you like it. x

For your information, here is the link to the LOTV online store and the LOTV Etsy Store to check out the rest of their goodies.

Here's What I Did
I trimmed down a piece of patterned paper to fit the front of my  6" x 6" card front, inked around the edges then attached it leaving a slim border.

I imported the cute bunny digi stamp image into my graphics software, then resized it to fit the circle die I planned to use. The image was printed directly onto colouring cardstock and coloured using Copic pens, then die cut into a circle. The image was printed again onto copier paper and fussy cut out, then removable sticky tape was added to the back and placed over the image. Blue ink was lightly applied around the bunny along with hand stamped hearts in the same colour ink.

When dry the topper was adhered to a fancy die cut circle and added to the front of the card using foam pads. Using white and blue card die cut leaves and flowers were added to the topper along with a few pearls.

To finish the card a clear glitter pen was applied to the little flower heads.

Here's What I Used
Digital Stamp (Bunny): 'Bunny Cuddles'

Other: 6" x 6" White Card Blank, Neenah Card, Nasturium Cluster Dies (Creative Expressions), Circle Doily (Tattered Lace), Stitched XXL Circle Dies (Crealies), 'On The Clouds' Paper Pad (Trimcraft), Glitter, Colour cloud Ink - Summer Sky (Cosmic Shimmer), Mattastic Card (Hunkydory), Clear Glitter Pen, Tumbled Glass Distressing Ink

Copics:  Bunny - E31, E33, E35 / Toy & Ground - E50, E51, E52 / Bunny Outfit & Heart - B000, B00, B12, YG03, YG11 / Box - YG03, YG11, YG17, B000

Crafter's Companion Inspirers Design Team - My Favourite 2016 Products

Hi everyone

Tonight I want to share one my
Crafter's Companion Design Team projects that I made last year. We were asked to choose our favourite products of 2016, and I chose the Sara Signature Collection 'Little Angel'. I think the collection is really sweet, and so versatile because t could be used for so any occasions. My card and quote was added to the Crafter's Companion blog highlighting several different products...I was so chuffed.

For my card I decided to create a 'Baby's First Christmas' card using traditional colours, and I think it worked really well...I hope you like it as well.

Here's What I Did
I used an 7" x 7" white card blank  and matted it with a sheet of pattern paper. Next I die cut a frame from a sheet of strong white card and attached a piece of Bakers Twine from one side to the other, the frame was then added to the card front using foam pads.

The clothes were die cut using red, white, green and brown card and assembled. Glittery elements were added to the clothes and attached to the clothes line using mini pegs. To finish off  I created a computer generated sentiment which I die cut and mounted onto the card front along with some mini hand cut holly leaves.

Here's What I Used
Crafter's Companion Products - Signature Collection 'Little Angel' Dies - My First Outfit, Baby Accessories,  Signature Collection 'Contemporary Christmas' Paper Pad, Sheena Douglass Stamping Card, Die'sire Essential Oval Dies, Gemini, Gemini Free Dies, Core'dinations 'Brights',

Other: Red Card, Bakers Twine, Glitter,  Funky Foam, Pegs, 7" x 7" Card Blank

Tip: Double up on your foam tape or funky foam behind a frame to create more depth in the aperture.

Don't forget....if you want to see more Crafter's Companion creations made my lovely teamies why not join our Facebook page - just search for Crafter's Companion UK or USA, and for more magazine inspiration definitely checked out the Crafters' Companion Inspiration Magazine group.

Just a little heads up...we are also on Twitter, Instagram and have a Pinterest Board, so why not follow us.I look forward to seeing you soon. Why not leave me a message so I know who's out there or if you have any questions about the products - I'd love to hear from you :)

Crafter's Companion 'Inspirers' Design Team - Baby Box Project

Hi everyone

Well I'm here today (erm tonight!) to share one of my Crafter's Companion Inspirers Design Team project with you. This one I made a little while ago but didn't get chance to blog...and there will be more like this to follow. The end of November and December is always a really busy time for me, as I have 2 special birthday to create for...my hubbie and daughter. So I'm a bit behind with my blogging. So you'll see quite a few Crafter's Companion projects over the next few weeks --- I hope you like them.

So here's a pop-up box I created in November using Sara's Signature Collection - Little Angel. I adore this collection, the dies cut beautifully and are visually pretty. So if you like them, get them while they're still in stock. ðŸ’›

Here's What I Did
I used an A4 sheet of blue card to create the box and white card for the embossed panels.

To help you make a box I have designed a few templates using different measurements types for you - click the link here to go to my Box Card Templates.  The instructions are a bit lengthy...sorry, but they do have illustrations. You can open, download and/or save it.

FYI, if you want to make the box height and/flaps slightly larger or smaller just increase or decease the measurements I've given you. Any questions just email me...have fun!

After creating my box I made the panels using white card. I cut the panels to size then embossed them using a pretty dotted clouds embossing folder, then edged each one with blue distressing ink. and glued them in place. Using lemon, blue and white card I die cut lots of baby embellishments, stars and clouds, and attached them all to the struts inside the box using strips of acetate.

The sentiment was stamped and die cut into an oval then matted onto a larger oval which I edged with glitter. The sentiment and a few baby die cuts were added to the side panels. To finish off I attached 2 pearls and a butterfly to the sentiment.

Here's What I Used
