Lili Of The Valley - Winter Together Simply Print

Hi, I'm back again

As I mentioned yesterday I'm sharing my cards using the brand new Lili Of The Valley Christmas 'Simply Print' images, this is my 2nd card. For today's card I've used 'Winter Together' and one of the new 'Elegant Christmas' sentiments. If you are new to the Simply Prints, they are pre-coloured prints that come as a PDF and include 3 page of pre-sized images in A5, A6 and A7. Simply Prints are wonderful for a quick and easy card; just brilliant for batch making or if you don't like to colour. The image is perfect for a couple's card at Christmas time. I hope you like it. x

For your information, here is the link to the LOTV Etsy Store to check out all the digi stampsand the LOTV online store to check out the rest of their goodies.

Here's What I Did
To start I covered the front of a 5" x 7" blank card with a piece of green patterned paper which I trimmed down to allow for a slim border around the edge.

Next I opened the PDF file of the Simply Print images, then clicked onto one of the images to activate the copy option, and copied it. I opened my graphics program and selected paste, this added the image into the program, then resized it to fit my project.  Next I add one of the new sentiments, but I removed the white background (making it transparent) in Word, and resaved it as a png file. I placed the sentiment next to the image and printed the whole image onto digital printer paper, then die cut it into a rectangle. The image was added to a scalloped rectangle die cut from red card; funky foam was glued to the back of it to give dimension. The full topper was attached to the card front.

To finish the card I glued 2 die cut holly flourishes in opposite corners along with some gems. A little glitter was sprinkled around the image.

Here's What I Used
Simply Print: Winter Together

Other: 5" x 7" White Card Blank, Pro Print Paper, 'Back To Nature' Paper Pad (The Works), Red Card, Stitched Scalloped Rectangle Dies (Creative Expressions), Decorative Tag Die (Sweet Dixie), Funky Foam, Glue, Double Sided Tape, Glitter, Gems

Hello everyone

Today I'm sharing the first of two of my cards using the brand new Lili Of The Valley Christmas 'Simply Print' images. For the card I'm sharing today I used 'Teddy Stocking' - the pre-coloured Simply prints come as a PDF and include 3 page of pre-sized images in A5, A6 and A7. Simply Prints are brilliant for a quick card or if you don't like to colour. However if you prefer, there is also as a digi stamp available so you can colour it yourself. I hope you like them.

I die cut a rectangle scalloped frame from green card, the image was glued behind it. The complete topper was glued flat onto the front of a white card blank. To finish the card I added a few die cut snowflakes from green card, and glitter to the stars and berries.

Here's What I Used

Lili Of The Valley - Penguins Sledging

Hi guys

I'm here again sharing some Christmas magic with you from the wonderful Lili of The Valley. My card for today is using one of the cute digi stamps, this one is called 'Sledging Penguins', isn't it adorable. I just love colouring up these little characters. I've also included one of the new 'Elegant Christmas Sentiments', the links for both featured items are listed below. I hope you like it. x

For your information, here is the link to the LOTV Etsy Store to check out all the digi stampsand the LOTV online store to check out the rest of their goodies.

Here's What I Did
First I added a piece of lilac card to the front of my card blank, leaving a slim border around the edge. Using my graphics software I imported the cute penguins and a sentiment, then resized them both to fit my project. The image and sentiment were printed directly onto colouring cardstock and die cut with a square die. The image was printed out again onto masking paper, and fussy cut out including a large section beneath the penguins for the snowy area. I covered up the penguins and added distressing inks to the sky (see the list below), then splash a little water over it. To add a little more interest I watered down some white and black chalk paint, then splashed a little over the sky area as well.

When the background was dry I coloured the image using Copic pens. The finished picture was mounted onto a white square die cut frame, and funky foam was glued to the back of that. The complete topper was added to the front of the card. I added a little detail to the left of the card using a die cut snowflake, circle and banner, along with a little pearl. To finish the card I added a little glitter around the penguins. For Sale - £4.50 + P&P

Next I imported the sweet hedgehog image and sentiment into my graphics program and resize them to fit my project. The image was printed directly onto colouring cardstock, and die cut with a Christmas tag. I coloured everything with Copic pens. I added green glitter card to the back of the cut out section on the bottom of the tag.

I die cut another tag from deep red card and added red glitter card to the back of the cut out section. I glued the white tag over the red one and add funky foam on the back. The finished topper was glued to the card front. To finish the card I added a few die cut poinsettia, glitter and a few pearls.

Lili Of The Valley - Christmas Angel

 Hi everyone

Well Christmas is most definitely in the air....well here in Lili of The Valley world it is. Lol Today Lili Of The Valley are launching the first of a huge selection of Christmas goodies ie digi stamps, Simply Prints and sentiments etc over the next few week. I will be sharing my cards during that time highlighting the new collection and I can't wait.

So onto today's card, for this I have used one of the new digi stamps called 'Christmas Angel-Kindness' which I coloured with Copic pens. Isn't she beautiful! I team her up with one of the new 'Elegant Christmas Sentiments' and digi paper from a previous launch. Once the stamp and sentiment is available in store I will add the links to this post. I hope you like it. x (For Sale - £4.50 + P&P)

For your information, here is the link to the LOTV Etsy Store to check out all the digi stampsand the LOTV online store to check out the rest of their goodies.

Here's What I Did
First I imported the pretty digital paper in my graphics program, then printed it out onto some good quality printer paper. The paper was trimmed down to fit my card front, leaving a slim border around the edge.

For the next part I used MS Word, and changed the white background on both the image and sentiment (as they're both JPGs) to a transparent background, then saved them both as a PNG images. I imported the digital paper into my graphics software and add the image and sentiment over the top, and resized them to fit my project. I printed out the paper with the images onto colouring card and die cut it into a circle. I coloured in the branch and some of the head wreath with Copic pens.

As the image on the circle was made into a transparent image it meant that you could see the patterned paper through it. To remedy this I printed out the same image again onto colouring card, coloured the angel and robin in using Copic pens, and fussy cut them out. Both images were then glued into place on the circle. The completed circle was glued onto a white doily die cut mat and funky foam was added to the back. The finished topper was glued to the centre of the card front. To finish the card I added a few pearls around the card and a little glitter to the angels wings.

You can email me at jsnine.quinn@gmail.com if you require more information about how I created this card.

Here's What I Used
Digital  Stamp: Christmas Angel
Digital  Sentiment: Elegant Christmas
Digi Stamp Collection: Christmas Collection
