Lili Of The Valley - Winter Together Simply Print

Hi, I'm back again

As I mentioned yesterday I'm sharing my cards using the brand new Lili Of The Valley Christmas 'Simply Print' images, this is my 2nd card. For today's card I've used 'Winter Together' and one of the new 'Elegant Christmas' sentiments. If you are new to the Simply Prints, they are pre-coloured prints that come as a PDF and include 3 page of pre-sized images in A5, A6 and A7. Simply Prints are wonderful for a quick and easy card; just brilliant for batch making or if you don't like to colour. The image is perfect for a couple's card at Christmas time. I hope you like it. x

For your information, here is the link to the LOTV Etsy Store to check out all the digi stampsand the LOTV online store to check out the rest of their goodies.

Here's What I Did
To start I covered the front of a 5" x 7" blank card with a piece of green patterned paper which I trimmed down to allow for a slim border around the edge.

Next I opened the PDF file of the Simply Print images, then clicked onto one of the images to activate the copy option, and copied it. I opened my graphics program and selected paste, this added the image into the program, then resized it to fit my project.  Next I add one of the new sentiments, but I removed the white background (making it transparent) in Word, and resaved it as a png file. I placed the sentiment next to the image and printed the whole image onto digital printer paper, then die cut it into a rectangle. The image was added to a scalloped rectangle die cut from red card; funky foam was glued to the back of it to give dimension. The full topper was attached to the card front.

To finish the card I glued 2 die cut holly flourishes in opposite corners along with some gems. A little glitter was sprinkled around the image.

Here's What I Used
Simply Print: Winter Together

Other: 5" x 7" White Card Blank, Pro Print Paper, 'Back To Nature' Paper Pad (The Works), Red Card, Stitched Scalloped Rectangle Dies (Creative Expressions), Decorative Tag Die (Sweet Dixie), Funky Foam, Glue, Double Sided Tape, Glitter, Gems

Lili Of The Valley - 'I Baked A Cake' Simply Print

Hi everyone

For today's  cardI'm sharing one that I made for my daughter to give to her cousin who is turning 21st birthday on Wednesday. I used one of the Lili Of The Valley Simply Prints which printed out beautifully, it's called 'I Baked A Cake'. The pre-coloured Simply prints comes PDF's and include 3 page of pre-sized images in A5, A6 and A7. Brilliant for quick card. I hope you like it.

For your information, here is the link to the LOTV Etsy Store to check out all the digi stampsand the LOTV online store to check out the rest of their goodies.

Here's What I Did
To start with a piece of pink patterned paper was trimmed down to completely cover the front  of the 6" x 6" card. Another piece of plain pink paper from the same pad was cut down and die cut at the top and bottom with a scalloped border die. This was glued in place across the card.

Next I opened the PDF file of the Simply Print images, then clicked onto one of the images to activate the copy option, and copied it. I opened my graphics program and selected paste, this added the image into the program. Next I typed up a sentiment and placed it next to the image, both were then resized to fit my project. Everything was printed directly onto digital printer paper and die cut into a circle, then added to a scalloped circle cut from gold mirror card. Funky foam was glued to the back of the circle and the topper was attached to the card front. To finish the card I added a die cut '21' from pink card, a little glitter and a few pearls.

Here's What I Used

Other: 6" x 6" White Card Blank, Pro Print Paper, Gold Mirror Card, Stitched Scalloped Circle Dies (Creative Expressions), Stitched Scalloped Border Dies (Lawn Fawn), Alphabet Dies (Trimcraft), Funky Foam, Glue, Double Sided Tape, Enamel Dots, Pearls

Lili Of the Valley - Vintage Boys #1

Hi everyone

How is everyone doing? Well I celebrated my 60th birthday since I last posted, and thanks to my daughter and husband I had an absolutely fabulous day - full of surprises, love and laughter. The day wasn't totally perfect as my daughter, who is still protecting herself at home couldn't share the day with us in person. FYI I haven't seen her in person for almost a year and a half due to the pandemic. Anyhow, but hopefully that will change very soon....fingers crossed. :)

Right that's the 'catch up' stuff done. Lol

So today I'm sharing a sneaky peak of one of the new Lili Of The Valley vintage boys, they are all just so adorable. For my card I have used one of the Vintage Boy Simply Prints called 'Wallpaper Paste', one of the 'Dusky Watercolour' papers and a sentiment from the 'Grunge Stamp' set. All the new digi stamps are also available as pre-coloured versions in Simply prints PDF's. The whole collection - Simply Prints, digi stamps, papers and sentiments all launch in the LOTV Etsy shop on Monday (17th March).

I hope you like it. (This card is for sale - please email me).

For your information, here is the link to the LOTV Etsy Store to check out all the digi stampsand the LOTV online store to check out the rest of their goodies.

Here's What I Did
To start with I printed the Simply Print vintage boy image onto 300gsm white card and trimmed it down to fit my 5" x 7" black card blank whilst leaving a slim border around the edge. I used a fancy edge die on the bottom section, then glued funky foam onto the back. The digital paper was taken into my graphics program where I placed the sentiment over the top. The paper was printed straight onto smooth printer paper and trimmed it down to match the width of the card topper. The paper was glued to the card front first, and the topper piece was glued over the top of that. To finish the card I added a few glossy dots on both the top and bottom.

Here's What I Used
Simply Print: Vintage Boy - Wallpaper Paste (also available as part of a set here)
The digi stamps of this image can be found here
Digital  Paper: Dusky Watercolour
Digital Sentiment: Grunge Stamps
The Grunge Stamps & Typewriter Set can be found here

Other: 5" x 7" Black Card Blank, White 300gsm Card, Pro Print Paper, Fancy Edge Dies (Crealies), Funky Foam, Glue, Double Sided Tape, Blue & Brown Enamel Dots
