Lili of the Valley - Vintage Boys #2

Hi everyone

Well today the new Lili of The Valley vintage boys digi stamps were released in their Etsy store. The new collection has four new vintage boy stamps all celebrating outdoor pursuits, they're perfect for that man in your life, both young and old.

So for today's card I've used 'Watch The Birdie' which I coloured with Copic pens. I also used my Silhouette Cameo cutting machine to create a little frame to pop him behind, and added lots of die cut stars around it. I hope you like it. x

If you're not really keen on colouring or need a card in a hurry, Lili Of The Valley offer the same image but pre-coloured, simply download, print and cut out. See the link below :)

For your information, here is the link to the LOTV Etsy Store to check out all the digi stampsand the LOTV online store to check out the rest of their goodies.

Here's What I Did
I trimmed down a piece of brown patterned paper from an old LOTV paper pad, and used it to cover the front of my 5" x 7". I added lots of die cut stars to the front to add a little extra interest.

I imported the cute vintage photographer digi stamp into my graphics program, then resized it to fit my project. The image was printed directly onto colouring card stock and trimmed down. The image was then coloured in using Copic pens.

Using my Silhouette Cameo cutting machine I created a little 'Watch The Birdie' frame from brown card, and glued the coloured image behind it. Funky foam was glued to the back of the frame and
attached to the card front. To finish my card I added a few enamel dots around the card.

Craft Consortium - - Little Fawn & Friends #2

Hi everyone ðŸ’œ

T
oday I'm sharing a project using an older collection from Craft Consortium called 'Little Fawn & Friends (in partnership with Hackney & Co).  The collection contains fabulous stamps, a 12" x 12" paper pad and embellishments all depicting lots of woodland animals and including fawns and hedgehogs.

For my project today I did something a little different, I created a little woodland shadow box with the fox and hedgehog from the 'Best Friendsstamp set, they were both coloured with Copic pens. I hope you like it. :)

The links to the new products will be added after the launch, or you can also go to the Craft Consortium's website using this link here and sign up for an update to this launch and any future product launches.

Here's What I Did
I die cut the box frame from a piece of Kraft card and folded it on the score lines to shape the box. From the paper pad I die cut 2 side panels and attached them to each side of the box. From green, brown and white glitter card I die cut rolling hills, trees and clouds and attached them to the inside and glued the box shut.

I stamped the fox and hedgehog with black ink, coloured them both with Copic pens and fussy cut out. These were then glued to the inside and outside of the aperture to complete to scene.

I Used
Stamps: Little Fawn & Friends 'Best Friends'

Lili Of The Valley - Vintage Boys Stamps Sneaky Peak

Hi everyone

So today I'm sharing a sneaky peak of one of four fabulous new Lili Of The Valley (LOTV) vintage boy/male digi stamps being launched in their Etsy store.

So for my card today, I've used 'To The Top' which I coloured with Copic pens, and one of the sentiments from the previously released 'Happy Birthday Pots' collection. I hope you like it. x

If you're not really keen on colouring or need a card in a hurry, Lili Of The Valley offer the same image but pre-coloured in different sizes, simply download, print and cut out. See the link below :)

For your information, here is the link to the LOTV Etsy Store to check out all the digi stampsand the LOTV online store to check out the rest of their goodies.

Here's What I Did
I trimmed down a piece of dark green jacquard patterned paper from an old LOTV paper pad, and added it to the front of my 5" x 7" black top fold card blank leaving a slim border around the edge.

A scallop edged rectangle was die cut from green card and then an oval was die cut out of the centre to create an aperture. Using the same oval frame and a slightly larger one I die cut a frame from kraft card and stuck this around the aperture window. Funky foam was added to the back of the rectangle to raise it up, ready to be attached to the card front.

I imported the lovely boy hiker digi stamp  and sentiment into my graphics program, then resized them to fit the my project. The image was then printed directly onto colouring card stock and trimmed down. The image was coloured in using Copic pens.apart from the sky. The image was printed out again onto white copier paper and fussy cut out, this placed over the top of the coloured in images using a non-permanent tape runner. Whilst the boy image was covered, clouds were added using blue distress ink and a cloud mask. When the ink was dry the picture was lined up with the aperture and glued into place and then everything was attached to the front of the card.

To finish my card I added 3 fishtale banners and a few gems.

Here's What I Used
Digital Stamp: To the Top
Simply Print: To The Top
Digital Sentiment Stamp: 'Happy Birthday Pots' Collection

Copic Pens: Skin - E50, E51, E21, E70 / Hair, Trousers, Sign - E31, E33, E37 / Shirt, Map & Socks - Y11, Y15, YR23 / Walking Pole - C2, C3, C5, R27, R29, R59 / Havesack - R27, R29, R59, C2, C3 / Hat & Pullover - YG03, YG13, YG63 / Hillside - E40, 41, E43, E47
