Tiddly Inks Fab Friday - My Last Design Team Post

Hello and good morning....

Sob...Sob...Sob!!!

Well today is my last official Design Team card for Tiddly Inks and I'm soooo sad :(
I've had a fabulous time on the uber talented DT, and had the pleasure of working with Christy's amazing images. Thank you to all the girls over at Tiddly Inks I've had a fab time and you never know I might be back in the future...mwah!!!

Good luck to the new interim Design Team (when you're appointed) I'm sure you'll have a brilliant time.

So onto my last Tiddly Inks Fab Friday creation for you - I decided to use the ever so pretty Wryn digi stamp called 'Wryn-The BBQ Queen', which makes a great summer card...well if we'd actually had a summer that it. I actually gave this card to a friend who was kind enough to make my hubbie and I a fabulous BBQ lunch last Sunday. I used green for my colour theme as her living room and kitchen were super modern and all in lime green so I knew I couldn't go wrong really. Lol! The 'Thank you' sentiment was for both my friend, Christy and the Design Team.

Here's What I Did
1 used a white scalloped 5" x 7" card base which I matted with some green card.  I printed my image directly onto some colouring card stock, die cut it into a rectangle and coloured it with Copic pens.

Next I printed my sentiment directly onto my patterned paper and die cut it into a rectangle shape, and cut 2 strips off. The finished image and the strips were all added to the card base. Then to finish off I added a few die cut buttons, a pearl, crystal drops and a few punched out butterflies.

Here's what I Used

Hello and good morning....

Well my 4 month term with Tiddly Inks is almost up and it's been a blast! I'm so grateful for the opportunity to work with Christy's fabulous images; there's so many to choose from that I've been constantly spoilt for choice. It's been such 'hard work' working with all her gorgeous drawings but hey someone has to do it, and I'm going to miss it. LOL! So on that note there is a new Tiddly Inks Design Team Call Out - so if you love Tiddly Inks why not try out. The closing date is August 28th

To finish off I added a large die cut flower with a glittered up button on top, then glued a few mini die cut flowers around the image and the sentiment.

Here's what I Used

Tiddly Inks Challenge - Paws For Thought!

 - Good Morning Tiddly Inkers -

Hi everyone, I'm here to share my Design Team card with you for this week's Tiddly Inks Challenge #163. Our fab theme this week is 'Paws For Thought!' so grab your Tiddly Inks animal stamp (anything that has paws of course!) and join in with us.

For my card this week I used the gorgeous digital stamp called Wryn - Thank You Beary Much (grab it now it's only a $1 in the store). I've been dying to use it in a project for ages and well I thought teddies have paws so this theme is perfect.

I couldn't resist paper piecing her comfy chair and decoupaging everything else....I really wanted the teddies and Wryn to pop. I won't lie it did take me a while to print, colour and cut everything out, but I'm really happy with the result. I hope you like it :)

Here's What I Did
I used a 7" x 7" white card base which I matted with lilac card. Using my computer software I printed the image 4 times directly onto my colouring card stock, coloured sections I needed with Copic pens then fussy cut them all out.  The full image was printed again onto 2 different patterned papers and cut out. All the pieces where glued into page but I added foam tape behind Wryn and one of the bears to give dimension, to bring the bears to life I used glossy accents on their eyes and noses.

The finished panel was glued to a die cut scalloped square and added to the card base using foam pads. To finish off I added a touch of glitter and a few stamped and die cut paw prints, along with a die cut heart.

Here's what I Used
Digital Image: Wryn - Thank You Beary Much from Tiddly Inks
Stamp: MFT Die-namics  'From My Heart'
Cardstock (CS): Lilac, Aqua & Purple CS, Neenah Colouring CS, LOTV 'Promises' Paper Pad

Other: Craftartist 2, Wink Of Stella 'Clear Glitter' Pen, Glossy Accents

Tiddly Inks Fab Friday - I'm On Cloud 9!

Hello and good morning....

Hi there me dears?? Well I don't know about you, but I want to know who hijacked my summer? It's so cold here in the UK that you'd swear it was autumn. So for my Tiddly Inks Fab Friday Design Team card I decided to create a little bit of sunshine of my own - I used this little lovely called 'Cloud 9', and for extra clouds I used 'Twisted Tree' (which is a free digi stamp).

Here's What I Did
Firstly I trimmed down a sheet of A3 card to created a top fold card (this can easily be done with a sheet of A4 or 12 x 12 card for a smaller version); and matted this with blue card. The image was printed directly onto some printable vellum and coloured from the front with Prisma pencils. In some areas of the image colour was also added from behind, along with a little dry embossing on the clouds to create a little extra dimension.

Using a cloud die I die cut the top of the finished vellum image and some soft blue vellum, both were added to the card base. To hide the fixings at the front I die cut a cloud border from a strip of white card. To finish off I added a die cut sun, a gem, and a few sequins.

Here's what I Used
Digital Image: 'Cloud 9' and 'Twisted Tree' both available from  the Tiddly Inks store
Prisma Pencils - Skin -Light Peach, Peach, Blush Pink, Carmine Red / Hair - Cool Grey 20%, Cool Grey 50%, Warm Grey 50%, Warm Grey 70%, Black / Dress, Hat & Shoes - Blush Pink, Carmine Red, Crimson Red, Crimson Lake  / Clouds - White, Cloud blue, True blue, Light Cerulean Blue / Flowers - Canary Yellow, Yellowed Orange, Pale Vermillion
Dies: Lawn Fawn 'Puffy Clouds Borders', MFT 'Gerbera Daisy'
Paper/Card (CS): White Card Base, White & Blue CS, Vellum
Other: Serif CA2, Wink Of Stella Clear Glitter Pen, Sequins, Gem, Blender Pencil, Black Medium Lyra Polycolor, Black Fineliner, Glitter Pen, Gem, Sequins, Copic Pen - E00, E02

Tiddly inks - Challenge #162 (Summer Song!)

 - Good Morning Tiddly Inkers -

Hi everyone, I'm here to share my Design Team card with you for this week's Tiddly Inks Challenge #162. Our fab theme this week is 'Summer Song!' so grab your Tiddly Inks stamp and get summery with us.

For my card this week I used the cute digital stamp called For The Birds - I just love these little guys they're so sweet....or should that be 'tweet'. My summer song is 'Walking On Sunshine' by Katrina & The Waves -  this song always makes me want to get up and dance around the room.

After researching summer songs for some inspiration for my card I actually bought a fab CD/Digital download called 'Magic Summertime', its got all my favourite summer songs on it. I was having a right old sing song while I was colouring and making my card.  My poor hubbie..lol!!

Here's What I Did
I used a 5" x 7" scalloped card base which I matted with blue linen card. Using my computer software I added the 'La's' onto the birds notepaper and added my song title. The image and sentiment was then printed directly onto more blue card and die cut into a rectangle to fit inside the white frame.

The birds were printed again onto some colouring cardstock and coloured with Copic pens and a clear glitter pen, and then fussy cut out. The white frame was matted onto some yellow card and attached to the card base, clouds were added along with the cut out yellow birds - foam tape was used to raise them up. To finish off I added a die cut sun and a few punched out butterflies.

Here's what I Used
Digital Image: For the Birds from Tiddly Inks
Stamp: Lawn Fawn 'Sunny Skies'
Cardstock (CS): Blue & Lemon Linen CS, White CS, Craftwork Cards Digital Super Smooth CS

Tiddly Inks Fab Friday - Birdies!

Hello and good morning....

How are you all doing?? I don't know about you, but I'm great and excited to show you a new digital stamp from Tiddly Inks for my Fabulous Friday Design Team card today. This super little birdhouse and birds is so lovely, it's called 'Birdhouse' and I've used it as a New home card - I did however add a little bird from another set called 'For The Birds' for my circle topper.

Make sure you pop over to the tiddly inks blog and check out the gorgeous cards created by my lovely teamies.

Here's What I Did
I used an 5" x 7" white card base which I matted and layered with patterned paper. I printed the birdhouse and sentiment directly onto my colouring card stock and coloured with Copic pens. I split the card with the image and sentiment into 2 pieces using my curved border die and added it to my card base using foam tape.  To connect the 2 pieces I printed a tiny bird and my own sentiment onto some more card and coloured it with Copics. The bird was then die cut into a circle and added to the card base again using foam tape.

To finish off I added a touch of glitter and crystal drops around the card.

Here's what I Used

Tiddly inks - Challene #161

 - Good Morning Tiddly Inkers -

So, onto my Design Team project for this week's Tiddly Inks Challenge #161, our easy peasy theme this week is 'Anything Goes'!!! So grab your Tiddly Inks stamp and join in with us.

For my circular card I used the digital stamp called Wryn Floating Along - she's a new release from Christy, isn't she fabulous. I wanted to create a 'summery hot day' feeling to my card so I used yellows, oranges and pinks tones....I hope I achieve it ok!

Here's What I Did
I die cut a white card base into a scallop card base. I printed my image directly onto some colouring card twice, one of which was die cut into a circle. I printed the image again onto copier paper and fussy cut it out to use as a mask. The mask was temporary fix onto the girl (Wryn) and her rubber ring (float) so that I could colour the sky and sea with out disturbing the image - this was then removed afterwards. I coloured the other image in with Copic pens and fussy cut it out.  The die cut orange circle and topper (with the sky and sea) was attached to the card base, along with a die cut sun and the cut out and coloured in Wryn.

To finish off I added a little clear glitter to the flowers and her lemonade glass, plus some white pen on the waves.

Here's what I Used
Digital Image: Wryn Floating Along from Tiddly Inks
Cardstock (CS): Orange & Yellow CS, Neenah CS
Copics: Skin - E000, E00, E11, R20, R81 / Hair - C0, C1, C2, C3, C5, C7, 100 / Hat & Sandals - YR04, YR15, YR16, YR20, YR68 / Lemonade Glass, Rubber Ring, Flower Centres & Hat Trim - Y00, Y02, Y08, Y176 / Bathing Suit & Flowers - RV10, RV13, RV14, Shadows - BV000, BV04
Dies: Taylor Expressions 'Cloud Border', Crealies XXL 'Stitched Circle', Spellbinders Grand 'Scalloped Circle', Tattered Lace 'Circle', Sizzix 'You & Me'
Other: White Pen, Craftartist 2, Glitter, Distressing Inks

Tiddly Inks Fabulous Friday

Hello and good morning....

Here is my Tiddly Inks Fabulous Friday Design Team card for you today. it's over on our blog along with others cards created by my lovely teams to celebrate.....it's Friday!  YAY!!

On my card I've used the digi image School Girl, isn't she just so pretty sitting on her little pile of books watching the world go by. I decided to create a CAS card because I wanted to make the school girl the main focus, however I felt it needed something to capture the moment so I googled reading quotes, and found this apt one from Neil Gaiman. The speech bubble was die cut from a page in an oldish children's book, which I bought from a charity shop last year .

Here's What I Did
I used an 5" x 7" white card base which I matted and layered with dark brown card. I printed the school girl image and quote directly onto my colouring card stock and coloured with Copics. I took a page from a children's book and distressed it with brown ink then die cut it with a speech bubble die, this was then glued on the top of the card above the girl. Using foam tape I attached the finished topper onto my card base.

To finish off I added a touch of glitter to the hat trim and book spines, and a sprinkled a few sequins around the card.

Here's what I Used
Digital ImageSchool Girl - Just so you know she only cost a $1 in the Tiddly Inks store

Tiddly Ink Challenge #160 - Let Get Gothic!!

 - Good Morning Tiddly Inkers -

So, onto my Design Team project for this week's Tiddly Inks Challenge #160, our fabulous theme this week is 'Gothic'.....mwah!!! For a change I thought I would make a tag, so for my take on 'goth' I used 2 digital stamp called Alison The Witch and Twisted Tree (inc Moon) and layered then up on my tag and patterned paper.

Mmm, I'm not sure if I'm more Halloween than Gothic. What do you think??

Here's What I Did
I decided to make a tag for the Gothic theme this week - so I drew around it onto grey patterned paper to create my shape and cut it out. Next I inked around the edges using black and purple distressing inks, and added stars using a stencil, the dots were added with a white pen and a moonlight yellow pen. The finished paper was then glued to the front of the tag.

I printed off the Twisty Tree, Moon and Alison the Witch directly onto colouring card stock and coloured them with Copic pens, these were then fussy cut out and the fence, grass and stars were all die cut. I glued everything into place on the tag but added foam tape to Alison to give a little dimension. To finish off I added a black lace bow and clear glitter pen plus some white and yellow pen detail on certain areas on the tag.

Here's what I Used
Digital Image: Alison The Witch and Twisted Tree (inc Moon) from Tiddly Inks
Cardstock (CS): Black & Purple CS, Yellow Glitter CS, Neenah CS, Hobbycraft 'xxx' Paper Pad
Copics: Skin - E000, E00, E11, R20 / Hair - YR0000, YR000, YR00, YR02, E13, E37, E99 / Hat & Dress - C0, C1, C2, C3, C5, C7, V01, V04, V09, V012 / Tree - V01, V04, V05, V09, V012 / Moon - Y02, Y08
