Little Miss Muffet Inspiration Card (18th April)

Heeeellllloooo everyone

Well good morning, it's Monday and my turn to share a Little Miss Muffet inspiration with you. I have to say I pawsitively love this little kitty, isn't it cute.  To create my CAS card I used Elisa's Kitty and my Aqua markers on watercolour card; I added a touch of glitter to finish. I wanted to keep the card nice and simple so the kitty would be the focal point. I added a few tiny stamped bits around the kitty to fill in the white space - these were then filled with glitter.

Here's What I Did
I printed the kitty image directly onto the watercolour card and coloured it with SN Aqua markers, this was then die cut into a circle. I stamped tiny shapes around the image, coloured them and added glitter.

Next I matted a 5" x 5" cream scalloped card base with patterned paper (after I finding a paper that would compliment the colours I used in the image). I die cut a fancy circle and attached the kitty topper and added it to the card base.

To finish off I stamped and embossed a sentiment in cream embossing powder and attached it in front of the topper with foam pads, along with a heart shaped button.

Here's What I Used
Digi Stamp: 'Elisa's Kitty' - available here
Stamps - MFT Die-namics 'You Have My Heart', Concord & 9th 'Love You, Mean It'
Paper/Cardstock (CS):Watercolour CS, Brown CS, 5" x 5" Scalloped Cream Case Base, Dovecraft 'Floral Muse' Paper Pad

Little Miss Muffet - Challenge #135

Heeeellllloooo everyone

Well it's Monday and my turn to share my Little Miss Muffet challenge project with you. I spotted these 3 little houses which are part of a new release and I instantly thought they would look great on a 'New Home' card.

So.....for my card I decided to use all of 3 of the digi stamps together. The stamps are called
'Little Houses - Red', 'Little Houses - Yellow', 'Little Houses - Blue' and used my aqua pens to colour them in with.

To make up the card I did it totally the wrong way round - I coloured the image first and then spent forever trying to find paper and card to compliment it. Total nightmare!! I usually find it much easier to find the paper/card first and then use a colour or colours from them (or a complimentary shade) in the image. For my bit of bling I re-coloured 3 large cream pearls with a Copic pen to match the green paper and card I used.

Here's What I Did
Firstly I die cut some patterned paper into a square, and then die cut it again on the inside of the square creating a pricked details. Distressing ink was added around the edges of the paper and attached to the 6" x 6" card base.

Next I printed my houses and sentiment directly onto some watercolouring cardstock, and coloured them with SN Aqua pens. The finished image was die cut into an oval and matted onto another die cut oval in complimentary coloured card; this was attached to the card base.

To finish off I added glitter to the red areas of the houses, some die cut clouds and a few coloured pearls.

Here's What I Used
Digi Stamp: 'Little Houses - Red', 'Little Houses - Yellow', 'Little Houses - Blue'
Paper/Cardstock (CS): Green CS, Watercolour CS, Trimcraft 'Wallflower' Paper Pad, 6" x 6" White Card Base
SN Aqua Pens: Sky - Aquamarine / Doors & Windows - Kingfisher / Path - Slate, Tan / Grass, Bushes, Tree Tops - Bud Green, Moss / House Brick - Sunflower, Olive / Tree Trunks - Fawn, Chestnut / Roof, Chimneys, Steps - Blossom, Scarlet, Burgundy
Dies: Joy 'Clouds', Tonic 'Home Sweet Home', Tonic 'Pin Hole' Square Layering Dies
Other: Foam Tape, SN Clear Glitter Pen, Pearls, Distressing Inks, YG03 Copic Pen, CA2

Stamping Bella - Sally and Her Snail

Hi everyone

As I don't have a Design Team card to share with you today, I thought I would share instead a card I made using one of my favourite Stamping Bella stamps. I used Aqua markers to colour with and with glitter pen over the top of the snail shell and flowers.

I love adding yellow and lilac together as they really work together well. I decided to make quite a CAS card and kept the embellishment simple.

Here's What I Did
Firstly I matted my 7" x 7" card base with a piece of pretty patterned paper and another strip across it.

Next I printed my image directly onto my watercolour card stock and coloured it with watercolour Aqua markers, to add a little extra definition I used pencils in a few places.  The finish image was die cut into a square and matted onto a larger die cut square and added to the card base using foam tape.

To finish off I added pearls, a die cut flower and leaves, plus glitter pen to the flowers and the snail shells.

Here's What I Used
Stamp: Stamping Bella 'Tiny Townie - Sally & Her Snail'
Paper/Cardstock (CS): Watercolour CS, LOTV 'Promises' Paper Pad, 7" x 7" Scalloped Card Base, Purple, Green and Lemon CS
Aqua Pens: Face/Skin - Peach, Topaz, Desert, Blossom / Hair - Yellow, Sunflower, Boulder, Chestnut/ Background - Aquamarine / Outfit, Shoes, Butterfly & Flowers - Purple, Red Violet, Orchid, Aquamarine, Sunflower / Tights - Aquamarine, Teal / Snail Shell - Sunflower, Gold / Snail Body - Bud Green, Fawn / Grass & Leaves - Bud Green, Moss
Dies: Crealies 'XXL Stitched Square', Tattered Lace 'Pearl Squares', MFT Die-namic - Blueprint '14'
Other: Foam Tape, Bakers Twine, Wink Of Stella 'Clear Glitter' Pen, Pearls

Hi there :)

How are you, well I hope? Well, I'm here to share a Little Miss Muffet goodness with you - and I wanted to create something fresh and zesty to brighten up your day, so for my card I've used the stamp 'Polka Dot Pals - Danielle'. She's now available as a rubber stamp, and you can get her here.

I decided to keep my card nice and simple, and focus on the image which I coloured with watercolour marker pens and then added pencil work over the top. I wanted to create something in nice fresh colours so I went with yellow and green.

Sweet Stampin' - Wrap Up Warm

Hello and good morning everyone ---

Anyhoo it's that time of the week again - it's my turn to share my Sweet StampinDesign Team card with you. Our theme this week is quite topical weather-wise...here in the UK we definitely need to start wrapping up. The theme is 'Wrap up Warm' (Hat, scarf, coats etc) - remember you MUST include a stamped element on your card/project.

This is my card which I painted with my brand new Spectrum Noir Aqua pens - I wasn't sure if I was going to like them, but I love them. I'm impressed with the pigment and the range of vibrant colours in the packs. I added loads of glitter and crystal glitter snow to the finished picture but unfortunately the camera isn't picking it up very well. I also added my new Christmassy watermark - created by moi :)

Here's What I Did
I matted a 7" x 7" white card base with festive patterned paper. Next I printed the sweet digital image directly onto some watercolour card and die cut into a square. The image was coloured with Aqua marker pens - these pens are new to me and although the background looks pale it has been painted with pale pink and blue colours (next time I think I will make it a little darker for the camera).

The finished image was matted and layered onto co-ordinating card and attached to the card base. I added crystal glitter and snow to the trees, hat and ground. To finish off I used a gold pen on the wreath and added a die cut poinsettia in the top left corner.

Here's What I Used
Stamp - 'Toby Tumble - Got Something For You' Cuddly Buddly
Spectrum Noir Aqua Pens - Sky - Blossom, Aquamarine / Bears - Topaz, Desert, Fawn, Chestnut / Tree - Fawn, Desert, Terracotta, Chestnut, Chocolate / Fir Trees & Bush - Moss, Evergreen, Boulder / Wreath - Moss, Evergreen, Gold, Scarlet / Door & Curtains - Blossom, Scarlet, Burgundy, Chestnut / Doorway Path - Boulder / Snow - Aquamarine, Boulder / Hat & Coat - Aquamarine, Moss, Evergreen / Jeans - Aquamarine, Navy, Peacock Blue / Scarf - Aquamarine, Gold, Teal / Presents - Blossom, Scarlet, Gold / Sled - Boulder, Chestnut, Scarlet
Dies - Spellbinder 'Poinsettia', Crealies 'Stitched XXL Square'
Paper & Cardstock (CS) - Cerise, Green, Off White, LOTV 'Woodland Wishes'
Other - Martha Stewart 'Fern' Punch, Glitter, Crystal Snow, Gold & Red Glitter Pen
