Lee Holland Illustrations - Easter (March Stamps #1)

Hi my friends💜

Today I'm showcasing a new digi stamp from Lee Holland Illustrations, it's perfect for Easter, and is totally adorable. Lee has some new Easter stamps in his Etsy shop which include the most gorgeous hedgehogs as well as cute bunnies, so definitely check them out.

The digi stamp I used  today is called 'Hedgehog With Easter Egg', and costs £3 in Lee's Etsy store. I printed the gorgeous image onto smooth colouring card (not Kraft) and used my Caran D'ache pencils to colour with. To check out everything else in Lee's Etsy store click here Lee Holland Art.

Here's What I Did
Firstly I trimmed down a piece of white card to cover my card front so that it fit between the scalloped sides. The card was then embossed using a wood effect embossing folder. Distressing ink was added over the raised patterned using Pumice Stone first, then Tea Dye and finally Vintage Photo. The textured card was attached to the front of a 5" x 7" white card blank.

Using my graphics software I imported the sweet hedgehog stamp, then resized and printed it directly onto colouring cardstock. Please note - the sentiment was computer generated by me. I coloured the images with pencils and die cut it into a rectangle. The finished image was mounted onto a brown die cut rectangle and added to the card front using foam pads  A small die cut bunting  embellishment was added to the left hand side along with a red enamel dot.

To finish off my card, 2 die cut Easter eggs were added to the bottom right corner.

Here's What I Did
Firstly I trimmed down some pink textured card and rounded off the corners. The card was attached to the front of a 5" x 7" white card blank leaving a slim border around the edge.

Using my graphics software I imported the cute bunny images, then resized and printed them directly onto colouring cardstock. I coloured the images with Copic pens and die cut it into a rectangle. The word 'love' was die cut into the card.

The image was printed out again onto copier paper and fussy cut out, then attached to the images using temporary tape runner to create a mask. Using a cloud stencil and distressing ink clouds were added to the scene. When the ink was dry the mask was removed.

The coloured image was attached to the card front, and the die cut 'love' letters were re-added to their  spaces using cut down foam pads. To finish off the card, a tiny die cut heart was glued to the 'o' and glitter was added to the hearts and flower centres.
