Amanda Jayne Designs - Playful Penguins

Hi everyone

I'm sharing a my latest card  for Amanda Jayne Designs. I used a few of the penguins from a newly launched collection called 'Playful Penguins'. I used Kraft card and pencils to colour the little trio in and added a sentiment and paper from my own stash. I hope you like it. (For sale - £4.50 + P&P - requests by email please)

Amanda has a lovely array of digi stamp, papers and sentiments in her Etsy shop, along with some pre-coloured images and papers. For your information, here is the link to the Amanda Jayne Designs Etsy Store or go to Etsy and search for Amanda Jane Designs 80 to check out all her lovely digi stamps and papers.

Here's What I Did
I trimmed down some red tartan paper to fit the 5" x 7" top fold card leaving a slim border around the edge. The 3 penguins were imported into my software and resized to fit my project. I printed out everything onto Kraft card, then coloured them up using pencils. The finished scene was die cut into a rectangle and the sentiment was stamped in black ink in the top portion. When the ink was dry the scene was matted onto a red card. To finish the card I added white snowdrops and stars in the background. The completed topper was added to the card front.

Amanda Jayne Designs - Christmas Bear

 Hi everyone

I'm sharing a new card and image for Amanda Jayne Designs. Amanda has launched a few new collections and the image I've used is from the new Christmas collection called 'Christmas Bear' which I combined with a digi paper and sentiment from my stash. I used Copic pens colour with.

Here's What I Did
To printed off a sheet of digital paper and trimmed it down to fit the front of a 6" x 6" card blank, leaving a slim border around the edge. A large white die cut snowflake was glue flat onto the centre of the card.

I imported the same digital paper as before and added a sentiment over the top, resized it and changed it to white text instead of black. The pattern paper was printed out onto card and die cut into a circle. Using the same die a circle was cut out from white card; the bottom section was cut out with a slight curve to create a snowy mound. Copic pen was added to the card to create a snowy shadow.

The cute little bear was imported into my software and resized. I created a pile of snowballs in my software by layering up circles, and bringing some forward and sending others backwards. I printed out both the bear and the snowballs onto colouring cardstock, then coloured them both up using Copic pens. Both images were fussy cut out, and glued onto the white section of the circle to create a scene.

Funky foam was added to the back of the circle topper and attached the centre of the snowflake.. To complete the card I added a touch of glitter here and there.

Card #2 - Santa & Friends
Card #3 - Santa & Friends

CARD #1 - Here's What I Did & Used
I trimmed down a piece of Christmas patterned paper and attached it to the front of a scalloped card blank leaving a slim border around the edge. I stamped the cute characters and star onto Copic friendly blending card and coloured them with Copic pens, then fussy cut them out. I printed out one of the digital papers and die cut it into a rounded square. Using the same die I cut out a piece of white card then trimmed it down with a slight curve at the top to give the impression of a snowy mound, this was glued to the bottom of the other square. The characters were then glued in place on the snowy mound. The completed topper was mounted onto a fancy die cut frame and glued onto the centre of the card front. To complete the card I added shading to the snow, and along with a touch of glitter here and there.

CARD #2 - Here's What I Did & Used
I die cut a piece of Copic friendly blending card with a large rectangle die. The sleigh image was stamped towards the bottom and the 2 sentiments were added at the top. The image was coloured with Copic pens, and when it was finished it was mounted onto a red card. Mini snowflakes cut from the same blending card were added around the image. When the topper was finished it was adhered to the front of an A5 card, which I cut down slightly. To finish the card I added gold glitter pen to the sleigh framework, and white glitter to the snow and Santa's hat.
