Sugar Bowl Challenge 123 - April 2015

Good Morning!

Hello everyone, it time for the Sugar Bowl Challenge, so here's my Design Team card for you this month. The theme as always is Anything Goes.

For my card this month I decided to eek out of my comfort zone and make a boy's card. I chose this cute digi image called 'Puppy Dog Tails' by Dianne Duda to work with, and you can buy him from Funkykits here. He's so cute, but you can imagine him being a typical boy - trouble with a capital 'T'! I coloured him with my Copic Pens and added an exert from the 'Sugar and Spice' poem and teamed him up with a few die cut stars and dots.

http://www.funkykits.co.uk/catalog/
Here's What I Did
I used an 5" x 5" white card base and matted it with both blue and green card. I used CraftArtist2 to created my layout which I printed directly onto some colouring/blending card stock. The image, frame and text were then cut into a square, and coloured with Copic markers. I added foam tape to the back of the completed topper and attached it to my card base. To finish off I added some die cut stars and punched out dots.
Here's What I Used
Digi Stamp: 'Puppy Dog Tails' available from Funkykits
Paper/Cardstock (CS): White Card base, Blue & Green CS, Craftwork Cards Colouring CS Copics: Skin - E000, E00, E11, R20 / Hair - E15, E21 / T-Shirt & Cap - B000, B02, B05, YG00, YG03, YG06, Y09 / Eyes - B000 / Shorts - B05, B12, B23, B24 / Dog - / Frog & Snake - YG00, YG03, YG06, YG09, E15/ Plaster - E15, E21 / Ground -W0, W1
Dies: MFT Die-namics 'Blueprint 8'
Other: Serif CraftArtist2, Punch
So come on and join us in our challenge over at the Sugar Bowl - the theme is 'Anything Goes' so it's really easy and there's a great prize up for grabs. BUT REMEMBER TO ENTER THE CHALLENGE YOU MUST USE a Sugar Nellie stamp.

Sugar Bowl Challenge 122 - February 2015

Good Morning My Sugary Friends!

Well it's another cold and wintery day here. Where did spring go to? Did I blink and miss it along with summer and autumn?  Anyhoo, to cheer myself up and spread a little 'love' I thought I would share a little sugary sweetness with you. So here's my (Sugar Nellie) Sugar Bowl Challenge Design Team card for you today. The theme as always is Anything Goes.

For my card this month I decided to use one of the very first images I ever used for a Sugar Bowl Design Team card, it's called 'Carnival Balloon' and she's available as a digital image and in grey rubber and you can buy her from Funkykits here. Isn't she pretty - I coloured her with my Copic Pens, and included a quote from a beautiful poem from EE Cummings in my design.

Here's What I Did
I used an 7" x 7" white card base and matted it with both lemon and pink card. I used CraftArtist2 to created my layout which I printed directly onto some colouring/blending card stock. The image, border and text were then die cut into a square, and tiny hearts were then randomly die cut into the square so the background card would be visible underneath. The die cut hearts (waste) were then coloured yellow and sprinkled with glitter for later use as embellishments.  I coloured the image with Copic markers and added glitter to the hearts on her dress, shoes and balloon. I added foam tape to the back of the topper and added it to my card base. To finish off I added some of the yellow heart embellishments and a few gems in her hair.

Here's What I Used
Digi and Rubber Stamp: 'Carnival Balloon' available from Funkykits
Paper/Cardstock (CS): White Card base, Pink & Lemon CS, Neenah Colouring CS
Copics: Skin - E000, E00, E02, E11, R20 / Hair - YR0000, YR000, YR00, Y11, E13, E15 / Dress, Balloon, Socks, Shoes - R14, R17, R20, R22, R30, Y11, Y17, Y21 / Eyes - G000, G02, G05 / Hearts - Y11
Dies: MFT Die-namics 'Blueprint 8', Tattered Lace 'Squares'
Other: Serif CraftArtist2, Glitter, Gems
So come on and join us in our challenge over at the Sugar Bowl - the theme is 'Anything Goes' so it's really easy and there's a great prize up for grabs. BUT REMEMBER TO ENTER THE CHALLENGE YOU MUST USE a Sugar Nellie stamp.

Sugar Bowl Challenge DT - January 2015

Good Morning My Sugary Friends!

On this cold and wintery day I thought I would share a little sugary sunshine with you. So here's my (Sugar Nellie) Sugar Bowl Challenge Design Team card for you.

As always the theme is 'Anything Goes' and to take advantage of this I decided to use one of the fab Scrapberry clear stamp sets - they're all so cute and stamp beautifully. I just love this little hippy girl, isn't she cutie - the Scrapberry range is available from Funkykits here.  I coloured the whole image with my Derwent Inktense Pencils - I think I'm starting to get the hang of them. Well I think I am :)

Here's What I Did
The 7" x 7" card base was matted and layered with pretty patterned and plain cardstock. I die cut 2 squares; embossing the white one to add a little extra detail. The girl and flowers were stamped on watercolour card using Stazon ink and coloured with Derwent Inktense Pencils (watercolour pencils). The completed image was die cut and attached to a pretty die cut pink oval which was added to the card base along with the square mat using foam tape. To finish off I added a few die cut stitched hearts in different sizes.

Tip: Using an emery board or fine sandpaper lightly rub over your clear stamps so they grab your ink and stamp better.

Here's What I Used
Rubber Stamp: Scrapberry Stamps available from Funkykits
Inktense Pencils: Skin - Baked Earth, Saddle brown, Carmine Pink, Poppy Red / Top - Carmine Pink, Poppy Red, Apple Green, Hooker's Green / Hair - Sun Yellow, Sicilian Yellow, Golden Yellow, Baked Earth /  Flowers - Sicilian Yellow, Golden Yellow, Sun Yellow, Baked Earth, Poppy Red, Apple Green, Iris Blue / Bird - Apple Green, Hooker's Green / shoes - Carmine Pink, Poppy Red, Baked Earth, Saddle Brown
Paper/Cardstock (CS): Watercolour CS, White, Pink & Deep Pink CS, (LOTV) Lilli Of the Valley 'Country Meadow'
Dies: Memory Box 'Cross Stitched Hearts'
Other: Stazon Ink Pad, Cuttlebug Embossing folder 'Swirls'
So come on and join us in our challenge over at the Sugar Bowl - the theme is 'Anything Goes' so it's really easy and there's a great prize up for grabs. BUT REMEMBER TO ENTER THE CHALLENGE YOU MUST USE a Sugar Nellie stamp.

Don't forget if you want to see more Sugar Nellie creations made my lovely teamies why not drop by the Sugar Nellie blog or join our Facebook page (just search for the Official Sugar Nellie Group).

I look forward to seeing you soon.

Sugar Bowl Challenge DT - December 2014

Good morning and Merry Christmas my sugary friends.

Today I'm sharing my monthly Sugar Bowl Design Team card with you - a little earlier than normal. The theme for the challenge over at The Sugar Bowl is Anything Goes, so grab your Sugar Nellie stamp and join the fun.

At Christmas, time is always of a premium and I'm no exception - so to help speed things along I used one of the new Sugar Nellie pre-coloured toppers. These sheets are soooo useful and very handy to have in your crafty stash.  I used a pre-embossed card base that I've had for ages, a topper, some twine and a couple of bells -- and tada one Christmas card made!!!

Here's What I Did
I used a 5½" x 5½" pre-embossed white card base. Then using a red and green glitter pen I coloured over the embossed areas, and added my twine and bell. The pre-coloured topper was matted and layered onto plain cardstock and added to my card base. To finish off I added a few glitter gel dots and a little glitter.

Here's What I Used
Stamp: Sugar Nellie Topper sheets available from  Funkykits
Paper/Cardstock (CS): 5½" x 5½" pre-embossed white card base, Red & Green CS
Other: Glitter, Bells, Sakura Red & Green Glitter Pens, Glitter Gel Dots

As I mentioned the theme over at the Sugar Bowl this month is 'Anything Goes', and as always there a great prize on offer. So come on and join in with us!

DON'T FORGET TO ENTER THE CHALLENGE YOU MUST USE a Sugar Nellie stamp.  If you don't own a Sugar Nellie stamp - both digital (instant download) and rubber stamps are available to buy from Funkykits.

I can't wait to see all your lovely makes. Have fun and a fabulous Christmas.

Sugar Bowl Challenge & Sugar Nellie DT - Joint Post

Good morning my sugary friends.

As both my Sugar Nellie and Sugar Bowl Design Team duties clash once again I have combine them together. The theme for the challenge over at The Sugar Bowl this month is Anything Goes, so grab your Sugar Nellie stamp and join the fun.

Here's What I Did
My white card base is A5 in size. This month I decided early on to make an CAS card because the image is so pretty I just wanted to concentrate purely on the colouring of her and show of her beauty. I wanted to show that you can made an elegant card simply by colouring an image and adding it to your card base with little or no embellishments, and these Floral Ladies digi stamps are just perfect for that. Note: the rest of the collection are equally as beautiful.

The digi image was printed directly onto my colouring cardstock (the background was done digitally), and then coloured with Copic markers and a few pencils.  The finished topper was then mounted onto coloured card and added to my card base. To finish off I added little bit of gold pen to the fan, a splash of glitter to flowers and a few gems.

Here's everything I used:
Digi Stamp: Floral Ladies by Sugar Nellie @ Funkykits
Paper/Cardstock (CS): Neenah, LOTV 'Bonnents & Bowties Solids' Paper Pad, Coloured CS
Copics: Skin - E0000, E000, E00, E02 / Hair - YR0000, YR000, YR00, E13, E15, E99 / Yellow Flowers - Y00, Y06, Y08, Y28, Y38, YR04 / Rose and Fan Top - R00, R02, R05, R20, R22, R29 / Fan Bottom - Y00, Y06, Y08 / Stems & Leaves - YG03, YG11
Other: Serif CraftArtist2, Gold Sharpie Pen, Glitter, Gems, Lyra Polycolour Pencils

So don't forget to drop by The Sugar Bowl and check out what the rest of my fabulous DT sweeties have created to inspire you; and why not join in with this month's challenge while you're there.

For my make this month it's all about the boys - Best Buds in fact.  I rarely make a boy's card so it was a bit of a challenge, but I decided it would be best to make it CAS. So here it is ---

Here's What I Did
The 6" x 6"cream card base was matted with pattered paper first. I then die cut out 2 squares and my friend frame from my card stock. Using CraftArtist 2 I resized my image and added the words 'Best Buds' down the side and printed off the topper.  I die cut this to fit my frame and coloured it in with Copic markers. To finish I added a die cut star and button..

Here's everything I used:
Digi Stamp 'Best Buds' by Diane Duda from Sugar Nellie @ Funkykits
Paper/Cardstock (CS): Craftwork Cards 'Super Smooth', First Edition 'Up, Up & Away', Basal CS, Kraft CS

Sugar Bowl 116 - Anything Goes

Well can you believe it, this is going to be our last challenge over at the Sugar Bowl for the foreseeable future.  Luckily for me I'll still be involved with Sugar Nellie on the Design Team so I still get to work with these gorgeous stamps and my sugar teamies.  But it's definitely a case of  'watch this space' when it comes to Sugar Nellie there's new things happening soon - so keep an eye on our blog.

Anyhoo, back The Sugar Bowl for our final challenge the theme is Anything Goes. So grab your Sugar Nellie stamp and get going.

Just a little reminder that Funkykits are having a sale on at the moment with 20% off digital and rubber stamps but it finishes soon - so go bgrab yourself a bargain.

So here it is my last Sugar Bowl card and I apologise in advance but it's a Christmas card. I know, I know *slap my wrist* I said the dreaded  'C' word, but I really love this digital stamp and I wanted to use her in a project again.

Here's What I Did
The 7" x 7"card base was matted with green card stock, and my digital stamp was printed onto watercolour card using the card/printer feed technique which I've used before with success. This technique allows me to print directly onto awkward card stock as my printer does not like feeding anything into it that has any kind of thickness which can be annoying. I water coloured the background with swirls and flicks in the same colour palette that I watercolour the fairy with (I'm not sure if I've gone a little over the top --- what do you think?) This was then matted onto some red card and then onto the green. To finish I added a little H20 paint, glitter, and added a few die cut embellishments.

Here's everything I used:
Digi Stamp:  'Wings Of Love' Sugar Nellie rubber stamp from Funkykits
Paper/Cardstock (CS): Watercolour Card, Green and Red Papermania CS, Pink Glitter CS
Distressing Ink Pens: Skin - Tattered Rose, Spun Sugar, Tea Dye / Hair, Birds & Basket - Scattered Straw, Tea Dye, Walnut Stain / Skirt, Hat & Shoes - Shabby Shutters, Peeled Paint, Forest Moss / Jacket & Flowers - Spun Sugar, Worn Lipstick, Barn Door, Victorian Velvet / Bells - Mustard Seed, Spiced Marmalade / Ground - Faded Jean, worn Lipstick
Dies: Cuttlebug Cut & Emboss 'Snowflake'
Other: Glitter, H20 Paints

So don't forget to drop by at The Sugar Bowl and have a look at what the rest of my fabulous DT sweeties have created to inspire you; and why not join in with this month's challenge while you're there. It's open to everyone, and the theme is Anything Goes so come on give it a go.

There's a fantastic prize - a bundle of Sugar Nellie stamps eg Leanne Ellis, Simply Sassy, Gorjuss etc plus papers and embellishments (wow wish I could enter lol),  and a chance of being in our Top 3 (but don't forget you have use a Sugar Nellie stamp to enter).

Have fun.

Sugar Bowl Challenge 115 - April Showers

Well can you believe it we're almost at the end of April already - it was my birthday yesterday and yes I'm officially an old woman.  But to soften the blow my hubbie's taken me away to York for a few days to do a little retail therapy ;-)

So to ease you from April into May here's my card for The Sugar Bowl. The theme this month is April Showers Bring May Flowers.

Why not join in with us and make a card/project.  Don't forget your project MUST include a Sugar Nellie stamp or digi stamp - both are available from Funkykits or the Etsy  shop.  If you're not sure if the stamp you wish use IS a Sugar Nellie stamp or not, you can either sent me a message with it's name/picture or visit the Sugar Bowl website and send an email to Sugar Mama using the link there.

So here's my card for you:

Here's What I Did
I die cut a fold pieces of card to make my scalloped base case, then die cut another piece of the same card and added it to the front. I die cut 3 circles in coloured CS which I matted and layered.  I then stamped my image onto Neenah CS and coloured her in with Copics and cut her out. I die cut another circle and put my image temporarily in place and drew the raindrops and puddle around her. She was removed and I coloured everything in and added a little glitter.  To finish off I glued the little girl image and the duck in place and added the 3 banner strips to the side.

Here's everything I used:
Stamp:  Little Ducky' Sugar Nellie rubber stamp from Funkykits
Paper/Cardstock (CS): White Neenah, Yellow and Blue CS, Molly Bloom Paper 'Birthday' kit
Copics: Skin - E0000, E000, E00, E11, R30 / Hair - E02, E33, E37 / Dress & Puddle - B0000,  B00, B05, B021 / Armbands & Duck - Y02, Y11, Y35, Y38
Dies: Tonic Layering Die 'Circle', Spellbinders 'Grand Scallop Circles', Sizzix 'Banner #2'
Other: 'Tumbled Glass' Distressing Ink, Glitter, Copic Fineliner, Serif CraftArtist2, Glossy Accents

So don't forget to drop by at The Sugar Bowl and have a look at what the rest of my fabulous DT sweeties have created to inspire you; and why not join in with this month's challenge while you're there. It's open to everyone, and the theme is April Showers Bring May Flowers so come on give it a go.

If you want to be in with a chance of being in our Top 3 or even a Guest Designer then please remember to use a Sugar Nellie stamp.

Have fun, and I look forward to seeing your creations on my return.

Sugar Bowl Challenge 114 - Easter/Spring Time

Hi there, it seems we're fast approaching Spring time....thankfully. Here at the The Sugar Bowl the theme this month is quite apt - it's Easter/Spring Time.  So get your Sugar Nellie stamps out and have a go.

Why not join in with us and make a card/project for the special someone in your life, but don't forget your project MUST include a Sugar Nellie stamp or digi stamp - both are available from Funkykits. If you're not sure if your stamp IS a Sugar Nellie stamp either sent me a message with it's name/picture or visit the Sugar Bowl website and send an email to Sugar Mama using the link there.

BIG NEWS: Funkykits now has a new Etsy shop where you can buy Sugar Nellie digi stamps - why not check them out.

Here's my little 'spring' card for you:

Here's What I Did
I used a 6 x 6 white card base and matted some patterned paper onto it - it's a pretty lilac colour but it looks a little washed out in my photo :(  I stamped my little gardening girl onto Neenah CS and again onto copier paper.  From the copier paper I cut out the girl with the flowers closest to her, and cut out the butterfly and a small hill shape - all to create a mask.  Using non-permanent tape I covered the girl, flowers and butterfly up and covered the area where I wanted my grassy area. Using distressing ink and my handmade cloud template I created some cloud shapes.  The rest of the image was always coloured with copics and Prisma Pencils. the grass was created using just green pen dots.

The arch window aperture was die cut and embossed and I coloured the daisy centres with a copic pen. To finish off I added some punched out butterflies and sprinkling of glitter.

Here's everything I used:
Stamp:  'Garden Daisy' Sugar Nellie stamp available from Funkykits
Paper/Cardstock (CS): White Neenah, First Edition 'Spring drop', White and Lilac CS
Copics: Skin - E0000, E000, E00, E11, R20, R30 / Hair - YR0000, YR000, YR00, E13, E99 / Dress, Shoes - V01, V02, V04, V05, V06  / Flowers and tights - RV000, RV00, RV02  / Watering Can, Butterfly & Flower Centres - Y000, Y15, Y38 / Grass and Leaves - YG00, YG03, YG09, YG17
Dies: MFT Die-namics 'Blueprints 3 & 8'
Other: Butterfly Punch, Inkydoodles Mask 'Daisy Daisy', 'Tumbled Glass' Distressing Ink, Glitter

So don't forget to drop by at The Sugar Bowl and have a look at what the rest of my fabulous DT sweeties have created to inspire you; and why not join in with this month's challenge while you're there. It's open to everyone, and the theme is Easter/Spring Time so come on give it a go.

If you want to be in with a chance of being in our Top 3 or even a Guest Designer then please remember to use a Sugar Nellie stamp.

Have fun, and I look forward to seeing your creations on my return.

Sugar Bowl Challenge - Mother's Day/Special Lady

Hi everyone, it seems like ages since I made a card for the The Sugar Bowl. The theme this month is a Mother's Day/Special Lady.

Here's my card or should I say 'pop-up' card.  This is the first time I've made one of these, and loved it.  I used to make exploding boxes years ago, because they were so dimensional and these are the same sort of thing. I've take a few photos of this so you can see the detail, I have to admit it took me best part of a day and half to make but I did have a few hiccups along the way.

Here's What I Did

UPDATE: I have just included a link to the tutorial I've created on how to make a box  **Sleep warning** it's a bit lengthy sorry, but it does have illustrations. Click here to open, download and/or save it. FYI, if you want to make the box height and/flaps slightly larger or smaller just increase or decease the measurements I've given you. Any questions just email me...have fun!

I decorated the box sides and flaps with patterned papers edged with distressing ink. Each strut inside the box was embellished with die cut flowers, butterflies, a sentiment and my sweet Sugar Nellie fairy which I coloured with Copics and with a splash of glitter to her wings. Some of the embellishment were added to the struts themselves and some were taped to acetate strips. The idea is to give the box dimension and interest. The content is supposed to be hidden from view when it's flat but when the recipient 'squares' up the box the content 'pop's up' to give the surprise (as you see above).

Hope you like it. These boxes are all the rage at the moment and are so easy to make, so why not give them a go and make one for the 'special lady' in your life using your favourite Sugar Nellie stamp.

Here's everything I used:
Stamp:  'Live Laugh Love' Sugar Nellie stamp available from Funkykits
Paper/Cardstock (CS): First Edition 'Spring Drop', Papermill Textured Cream CS, Various Coloured CS, Glitter CS
Copics: Skin - E0000, E000, E00, E11, R20, R30 / Hair: YR0000, YR000, YR00, E13, E99 / Dress, Shoes & Flowers - R000, R20, R30, R32, R35 / Wings - G000, G00, G02

Sugar Bowl Challenge 112 - Colour Theme

Well here's a another first for 2014, my first DT challenge card for The Sugar Bowl. The theme this month is a Colour Theme (See the palette below). Aren't the pretty colours.

Why not join in with us, but don't forget your project MUST include a Sugar Nellie stamp or digi stamp - both are available from Funkykits.  If you're not sure if your stamp IS a Sugar Nellie stamp either sent me a message with it's name/picture or visit the Sugar Bowl website and send an email to Sugar mama using the link there.

BIG NEWS FROM THE SUGAR MINES
Exciting news - things are changing in the Sugar Bowl from February onwards. Each month as well as the usual prize on offer for the selected winner, we will also highlight 3 of our favourite card/projects from the entries. The biggest news is that we will also choose one entry to be our Guest Designer for the following month. So come on what are you wanting for.....get crafting!!!

Your colour Palette

This was a relatively quick card.  The topper was made by stamping 3 times, firstly onto my base cream CS, then twice onto white CS.  I coloured the image on my cream base card, and then coloured the parts on the white CS that I wanted to layer up. I'd added colour around the edge of the frame by firstly adding pencil around the very edge, and then using some Pan Pastel to pull the colour in towards the centre. The parts of the image that I'd coloured and cut out were added to the base card.  I added glitter to finish it off.  I drew a squiggly line and leaves around the edge of the background card and added a little glitter to compliment the topper. To finish off I added some leaves and flowers.

Here's everything I used:
Stamp: Leanne Ellis 'Wild Rose' - Sugar Nellie stamp available from Funkykits
Paper/Cardstock (CS): Hobbycraft 'Monochrome' Paper Pad, Papermill Shimmer Cream CS, Light & Deep Pink and Dark Grey Bazzill CS, Silver Mirra CS
Pencils: Derwent (D) & Prisma (P), Lyra Polycolour (L) - Face - Colour of CS, (P) Light Peach, Peach, Blush / Rose & Frame Edge - (P) Blush Pink, Poppy Red, Crimson / Hair - (P) Sand, Yellow Ochre, Burnt Ochre, Sienna Brown, (D) Ochre / Dress, Leaves & Hat - (D) Dove Grey, Cloud Blue, Steel Grey, Persian Grey, (L) Black
Dies: Britannia Multi Rose - Small, Die-namic 'Blueprints 3', Tattered Lace 'Embellishments'
Other: Pan Pastels - Permanent Red Tint, Black Fineliner Pen, Glitter

So don't forget to drop by at The Sugar Bowl and have a look at what the rest of my fabulous DT sweeties have created to inspire you; and why not join in with this month's challenge while you're there. It's open to everyone, and the theme is Colour Theme (shown above) so  come on give it a go. You can create anything you like but it MUST include a SUGAR NELLIE STAMP (either rubber or digi) otherwise it will be removed (sorry!).

Have fun, and I look forward to seeing your creations on my return.

Sugar Bowl Challenge 111 - Fairies

Hi everyone, well not long now to Christmas Day and OMG where has the year gone, it doesn't seem 2 minutes since I was getting ready for last Christmas.

Anyway, to add a little Christmas magic sparkle to your day the theme for this month's challenge at The Sugar Bowl is FAIRIES. You can create anything you like but it MUST include a Sugar Nellie rubber or digi stamp both of which are available from Funkykits. There's a great prize on offer as always.

So to get you in the mood here's my Fairy DT card for you - it's quite a simple card really.  I matted Xmas paper onto my 5 x 5 kraft card base and die cut a doily in pearlised card. Then I printed my little Sugar Nellie Fairy onto Neenah card (isn't she gorgeous) and die cut it into a circle.  I coloured around the edge of the circle with pan pastels and stamped snowflakes randomly around the image with some distressing ink. I coloured my fairy image with copics and matted it onto a green scallop circle. To finish I added a die cut poinsettia and used a touch of glitter and a pearl pen to add a little dimension.

Here's everything I used:
Stamps: Sugar Nellie 'On The Wings Of Love' Digi Stamp from Funkykits, Butterfluy Kisses 'Snowy Christmas'
Paper/Cardstock: Kraft Card, Cream Papermill Pearlised Card, Neenah, Papermania Pink & Green Card, Dovecrafts 'Back To Basic Christmas'

Sugar Bowl Challenge - Sparkle & Shine

Hello glad you could drop by. I can't believe that we're at the end of November already and Christmas is slowly sneaking up on us.  Mind you I have 2 birthday's to concentrate before I can even think of Christmas. One is my daughter's on the 27th Nov, and she'll be 25 (OMG how old do I feel!) and my hubbie's 50th birthday at the beginning of December. So I've been busy making cards for them both inbetween my DT cards.

So on that note, here's my DT card for this month's The Sugar Bowl challenge. The theme this month is fab, it's SPARKLE & SHINE. I made a CAS card for this month's challenge. I used CraftArtist2 to design the layout and were I added the text, main image and stars, this was then printed off.  I coloured the images using my copics, made some fishtail stripped of glitter card and added glitter to the stars and her wand.  Finally I added glossy accents to the little gingerbread man.

So come on have a go and join in  - get your glitters out and get sparkling.

Here's everything I used:
Digi Stamp: Sugar Nellie 'Gingerbread Cookies' available from Funkykits
Cardstock: Neenah, Pink CS, Glitter Card
Copics: Skin - E0000, E000, E00, E11, R30, R20 / Hair/Gingerbread Man/Boots - YR0000, YR000, YR00, E13, E99 / Scarf/Skirt - B0000, B000, B00, B02, B18 / Ear Muffs/Jumper - R20, R32, R22, R35, R59 / Socks- E000 / Snow - BG000, BG01
Other: Glossy Accents, Crystal Glitter, Snowflake Gems, CraftArtist 2

So don't forget to drop by at The Sugar Bowl and have a look at what the rest of my fabulous DT sweeties have created to inspire you; and why not join in with this month's challenge while you're there. It's open to everyone, and the theme is 'SPARKLE & SHINE' so  come on give it a go. You can create anything you like but it MUST as the theme suggests include a SUGAR NELLIE STAMP (either rubber or digi) otherwise it will be removed (sorry!).

Have fun, and I look forward to seeing your creations on my return.
