Craftsulove Design Team - November #3

Morning everyone 💜

Today I'm sharing the last of my Craftulove cards using the snow globe stamp and die set from Studiolight, plus some green gingham paper pad from Echo Park.  I've kept my Christmas card CAS this week by just using the stamp, die and a few gems. I hope you like it. x

Just a little note about the snowglobe set I've used, it includes a snowglobe dome and base stamp plus 3 interior stamps featuring different snowy scenes. Over the month of November I have used 2 of the scenes plus the included sentiment.  All the links to the specific Craftuslove products can be found below, and the link to the general store is here.

Here's What I Did
I added a piece of pattered paper to the front of a 4" x 4" white card blank.

I stamped the snow globe onto colouring card and coloured it with Copic pens. Glitter was added to the snow and trees, then a white pen was used for the snow flakes. When the scene was finished it was cut out.

I stamped the snow globe base section onto brown colouring card, and added a little shading with Copic pens. When the colouring was finished the base was cut it out and glued over the top of the previously stamp snow globe.

Using the snow globe die I cut out the shape using black card, then glued the coloured image on top. The topper was then added to the card front using foam pads. To complete the card 6 green gems from my own stash were added to the top and bottom of the card front.

Craftsulove Design Team - November Card #2

Morning everyone 💜

Today I'm sharing the 2nd of my November Craftulove Design Team cards with you. This month's cards is again featuring the lovely snow globe stamp and die set by Studiolight plus a gorgeous chequered paper by Echo Park. For today's cards I've gone with a sort of masculine look using a grey, black and silver colour palette. I hope you like it. x

All the links to the specific Craftuslove products can be found below, and the link to the general store is here.

Here's What I Did
I covered the front of a 4" x 4" card with patterned paper, then trimmed down 3 strips of silver glitter card to create banners in varying lengths.

The snow globe was stamped onto white colouring card and a sentiment was added to the centre. The whole snow globe was then cut out by hand. The inside edge of the globe was coloured with a blue Copic pen and crystal glitter was added over the top.

The base of the globe was stamped again onto silver mirror card using Stazon ink and cut out, this was then glued into place on the glittered snow globe. The snow globe was then mounted onto black card cut out using the snow globe outer die.

To complete the card, gems were added at the top and bottom edge of the card.

Craftsulove Design Team - September Card and Tutorial

Morning everyone

I'm back with another card and tutorial for you using products available in the Craftsulove store and in their online store. For my tutorial today I'm using the wonderful 'Snowflake Wreath' die set from John Next Door, the gorgeous 'Winter Feelings' Christmas paper pad from Studiolight which I've absolutely fallen in love with, along with Kraft card, glitter and gems. To add extra dimension to my card I die cut several deer heads and wreaths which I then glued and stacked together, this creates a fabulous mount board effect without the expense. Why not try it on a few of your projects. :)

So onto what we are making today....I hope you like it x  You can find the product links below or click here for a direct link to the store.

You Will Need
(Products available from Craftsulove):
‘Winter Feelings’ Paper Pad by Studiolight
'Snowflake Wreath' by John Next Door

Silver Mirra Card

From My Own Stash:
7” x 7” Card Blank
Kraft Card
‘Vintage Photo’ Distressing Ink
Double Sided Tape
Glitter
Foam Pads
Gems

To Make The Card
1. Trim down a piece of Kraft card to 6½” x 6½” and ink around the edges with distressing ink.

2. Separate a sheet of the paper from the pad and add glitter to the snowflakes (as shown in the photo below). Adhere this to the centre of a piece of mirror card 6¼” x 6¼” leaving a border around the edge and then onto the Kraft card. Add them all to the front of a white card blank.

3. Using the snowflake wreath die set cut out a circle from white card, then add distressing ink and glitter around the edge.

4. Die cut 4 deer heads from Kraft card, then glue and stack 3 of the heads together. Add distressing ink to the edges of the remaining head and glue it on top of the stack.

5. Die cut 4 snowflake wreaths, then repeat the steps as above.

6. Glue the wreath and deer head to the centre of the circle.

7. Add the circle to the card front using plenty of foam pads.

TIP: You can use kid’s white funky foam as an alternative to foam pads, simply cut up large pieces and glue them into place.

8. To finish the card, add large and small gems to the centre of the snowflakes.

Craftsulove Design Team - September Card #2

Hi guys💙

I'm sharing an extra card with you today for the Craftsulove Design Team. I love this paper pad and stamp so much I just had to make another Christmas card. All the products are available in store and in the online store.

I used a Christmas stamp by Woodware, a patterned paper from a Studiolight paper pad (which has the most stunning papers inside), a banner die set and finally a gold shimmer pen from Tonic's Nuvo range (the links to the products can be found below).

HERE'S WHAT I DID
I stamped and heated embossed a 'seasons greeting' sentiment using gold embossing powder approximately 3/4 of the way down a sheet of the Winter patterned paper. I covered the front of a 6" x 6" white card blank with the paper. Next I die cut 3 banners in decreasing sizes from 2 different patterned papers from the pad, plus one from Kraft card. The banners were layered up and glued in place on the front of the card above the sentiment.

I stamped the poinsettia 4 times onto colouring cardstock, and coloured them up using Copic pens.

On the 1st image I fully colour the bottom leaf and around the edge of the top leaf using a green Copic pen, Then add brown Copic pen around the edges of the poinsettia again using the pen. Cut out the poinsettia and both leaves.

On the 2nd image I fully colour the top leaf with green Copic pen, and again add brown Copic pen around the edges of the poinsettia. Cut out the poinsettia and the leaf.

On the 3rd image I only coloured the poinsettia with brown Copic pen, and cut out.

On the 4th image I only coloured the small centre section of the poinsettia with brown Copic pen, and cut out.

I layered up the poinsettia and leaves pieces using foam pads, and added it to the left hand side of the banner. To complete the card I added gems to the centre of the flower and to the top and bottom of the card.

Craftsulove Design Team - September Card #1

Morning everyone 💜

Today I'm sharing my September Craftulove Design Team card with you.

For my card today I'm using a beautiful wreath die set from John Next Door (which includes a patterned circle die, a snowflake wreath and 4 corner dies), a mini sentiment die from Creative Expressions along with another beautiful paper pad by Studiolight.

All the links to the specific Craftuslove products can be found below, and the link to the general store is here.

Here's What I Did
I trimmed down a piece of silver mirra card to 6½" 6½" and attached this to the front of scalloped card blank. Next I die cut the wreath into a sheet of the patterned paper so it left the outside edge, I kept the cut out wreath for use later on. Using the corner dies I cut out snowflake details in each corner. The paper was then adhered directly on top of the mirra card.

I die cut the snowflake wreath twice from white funky foam and glued them on top of each other, then added the snowflake wreath that was cut from the patterned paper. This was added to the front of the card inline with the die cut wreath shape. I repeated the same process for the sentiment and added this to the centre of the wreath.

To complete the card, I added gems in the centre of all the snowflakes.

Craftsulove Design Team - August Card & Tutorial

Hi guys💙

I'm back with another card and tutorial using products available in the Craftsulove online store.

This month I am highlighting a beautiful Christmas stamp by Woodware, a paper pad from Studiolight which has the most stunning papers inside, and a gold shimmer pen from Tonic's Nuvo range (find the links below).

You Will Need
(Products available from Craftsulove):
Framed Poinsettia’ WoodWare Stamp Set
‘Woodland Winter’ Paper Pad by Studiolight
Gold Midas Touch Nuvo Aqua Shimmer Pen

 From My Own Stash:
6” x 6” Card
Watercolour Card
‘Red Brick’ Distressing Ink
‘Peeled Paint’ Distressing Ink
‘Fossilized Amber’ Distressing Ink
Gold Embossing Powder
Versamark Ink
Gold Mirror Card
Double Sided Tape
Anti-static Bag
Heat Tool
Foam Pads
Gems

To Make The Card
1. Using one of the patterned papers from the pad, stamp and heat emboss the ‘Season’s Greeting’ sentiment down the left hand the side using gold embossing powder. Adhere this to the front of a
6” x 6” white card blank.
Tip
Before heat embossing your image and sentiment dust the surface of the paper/card you are using with the anti-static bag, this will remove any finger prints and grease residue.

2. Stamp and heat emboss the complete image onto another piece of patterned paper from the pad using gold embossing powder. Trim the stamped image down and mat onto gold mirror card.
3. Stamp and heat emboss a further 4 images onto watercolour card with gold embossing powder. Next colour segments of the images as mentioned below using the following technique.

Technique
Add distressing ink to a non-porous surface eg glass mat, stamping block, plate etc. Pick up the each colour using the gold shimmer pen, and paint as you would do with a paint brush. This will make the painted areas shimmer.

Where To Colour

4. On the 1st image fully colour the bottom leaf and around the edge of the top leaf using green distressing ink and the gold pen, Then add red distressing ink around the edges of the poinsettia again using the pen. Cut out the poinsettia and both leaves.

5. On the 2nd embossed image fully colour the top leaf with green distressing ink, and again add red distressing ink around the edges of the poinsettia using the pen. Cut out the poinsettia and the leaf.

6. On the 3rd embossed image only colour the poinsettia with red distressing ink using the pen, and cut out.

7. On the 4th image only colour the small centre section of the poinsettia with red distressing ink and the berries with the yellow ink all using the pen, and cut out.

8. Layer up the poinsettia and leaves using foam pads, then line everything up with the image on the topper, and add to the card front using foam pads.
9. To complete the card add gems to the berries and the 3 stars.
