Morning Everyone
I'm back to remind you that Craft Consortium will be launching on Hobbymaker today (14th) at 2pm and 6pm. Helen Kirkham will be showcasing their products including the newest collection 'Little Ones' by Helz Cuppleditch. You can watch Hobby Maker TV, live on Freeview channel 73, Sky channel 670, or Virgin Media 754. You can also watch them via their website, mobile app, or YouTube.
For today's card I've used the really sweet giraffe stamp along with one of the papers, and used distress re-inkers to colour with. (see links below)
This collection and other collections are available from the Craft Consortium's website and good craft retailer's websites. In the USA, it will be distributed by Notions Marketing. You can also go direct to the Craft Consortium's website here and sign up for an update on any future product launches.
This Is What I Did
I trimmed down a piece of pink patterned paper from the 'Little Ones' paper pad to fit the front of a 6" x 6" white card blank. Next I stamped the cute giraffe onto watercolour card with black ink, and coloured it with distress re-inks. The scene was stamped again onto masking paper and cut out, this was placed over the top of the image, and pink distress ink was applied over the top.
When the scene was dry it was die cut into a rounded square and mounted onto a pink scalloped frame. The frame was die cut 3 times from white card and once from pink paper, and glued together. Funky foam was added to the back to give dimension, and mounted onto the front of the card front.
I die cut a sentiment and heart from white card (3 times) and once from pink paper, they were glued together and added to the card front. Glitter was added to some of the flowers and the heart. To finish the card, I added a few pink dew drops around the sentiment.
