Lili Of The Valley - Cute Elephant #4

Hi there

If you live in the UK, I hope you enjoyed your May Bank Holiday. I'd love to say the weather was great here in the north East...but as usual is was rubbish! Anyhow back to cardmaking. Lol

I'm back to share the last of my Lili Of The Valley 'Cute Elephant' cards. For today's card I used 'Balloon - Elephant' and coloured her up using pastel pencils again. I hope you enjoyed the preview of all the gorgeous little characters. For all the cards I've made over the past few days I used the polymer stamps and might I say the elephants are quite large, but there will be digital versions of the stamps if you prefer to resize them or flip them - the links will be added this week.

Here's What I Did & Used

I covered the front of a 5" x 7" card blank with dotty lilac paper. The sentiment was printed onto pastel colouring card first, then the elephant was stamped with black ink just below it and die cut into a rectangle. The scene was coloured with various pastel pencils, and mounted onto a lilac mat. The topper was glued flat onto the front of the card. To finished the card I added a few pearls around the sentiment. 

FYI - I used a paper stump to blend the pencils and a fixative spray to stop the pencils from smearing.

Lili Of The Valley - Cute Elephants #3

Good Afternoon

Hi there, I'm back again with my 3rd Lili Of The Valley card highlighting another of the new 'Cute Elephant stamps. As mentioned the collection will be available as both polymer and digi stamps and will be available in the LOTV Etsy store later this week. The stamps are a real joy to work with and colour up. 

So for today's card I used 'Dreaming Elephant' and coloured her up using distress re-inkers and pencils. I will be sharing the last of my cards using 'Balloon Elephant' which I've coloured up using pastel pencils again, later today, I hope you like them all so far.

Here's What I Did & Used

I cut to size a piece of pretty dotted paper to fit the front of a 6" x 6"scalloped card blank, leaving a slim border around the edges. I stamped the elephant and sentiment onto mixed media card, and coloured it using distress re-inkers and pencils. When the image was dry I die cut it into a circle, then matted it onto a pink fancy frame. Funky foam was added to the back of the completed topper, and then glued to the centre of the card front. To finish I added a little glitter to the flowers, and a few pink pearls to the bottom of the card.

Lili Of The Valley - Cute Elephants #2

 Good Afternoon

Well I'm back with my 2nd Lili Of The Valley card of the day featuring another of the new 'Cute Elephant stamps. As I mentioned in my previous post the collection will be available as both polymer and digi stamps. After their launch today (Sunday 30th April) at Stamperama in Harrogate, they will be available in the LOTV Etsy store later this week. The stamps are really adorable and perfect for all occasions.

For today's card I used 'Flower Elephant' and coloured her up using pastel pencils....which are my favourite colouring medium atm. Tomorrow I will be sharing 'Dreaming Elephant' coloured with distress inks. I hope you like them all so far.

Here's What I Did & Used

I die cut a piece of orange card using a fancy frame and glued it flat onto the front of a 6" x 6" card blank. The sentiment was printed onto pastel colouring card first, then the elephant was stamped with black ink just below it and die cut into a square. The scene was coloured with various pastel pencils, and mounted onto a orange scalloped mat. To finish the card, funky foam was added to the back of the topper and glued into the centre of the card front.

Lili Of the Valley - Cute Elephants #1

Good Afternoon

Over the next 2 days I have a couple of lovely new Lili Of The Valley stamps to share with you. The stamp collection is called  'Cute Elephants' and they will be available as both polymer and digi stamps. The launch took place today (Sunday 30th April) at Stamperama in Harrogate, then they will be available in the LOTV Etsy store later this week. The stamps are so sweet and perfect for birthday and births etc.

For today's card I used 'Hello Elephant' and coloured it with Copic pens. Later today I will be sharing 'Flower elephant' which I coloured with pastel pencils. I will hopefully share the last 2 tomorrow to celebrate the May Bank Holiday here in the UK.

Here's What I Did & Used

I trimmed down a piece of pretty pastel paper and covered the front of a 5" x 7" top fold card. A 6½" x 4½" rectangle cut from a co-ordinating piece paper from the same pad was glued onto the centre of the card front. 

The sentiment was printed onto colouring card first, then the elephant was manually stamped just below it. The scene was coloured with Copic pen and die cut into a rectangle, white dots were added to the 'Hello' sentiment.. The completed scene was mounted onto a blue die cut postage stamp rectangle frame; funky foam was added to the back. To finish the card, the topper was glued to the centre of the card, and pearls were added along the top.

Lili Of The Valley - Alphabet Bunnies #2

 Happy Mother's Day

To all the mums out there in the world and the ones in our thoughts - Happy Mother's Day. Just remember how special you are. xxx

Well I'm back as promised, with another sneak peak of the new Lili Of The Valley 'Bunny Alphabet' polymer stamps and digi stamps launch. As mentioned yesterday the launch will take place on Create & Craft TV on Monday 20th @ 5pm (GMT), and then in the LOTV Etsy store soon after.  The bunnie letters work brilliantly both singularly as shown yesterday or combined together as shown in the card below, and are perfect for every occasions.

For today's card I created a Mother's Day card in memory of my lovely mum who I lost a few years ago....she would've loved these little bunnies. As I used the digital version of the stamps I used the letter 'M' twice and flipped one of them, and added the letter 'U'. I also enlarged the letters a little. I used Copic pens to colour everything up, I just loved using green with white together as it makes for such a crisp and clean card. I hope you like it.

Here's What I Did & Used

A piece of pretty green patterned paper was die cut using a large postage edged rectangle frame die; the rectangle was glued flat to the front of a top fold 5" x 7" card blank. A slightly smaller straight edged rectangle cut from white card was stuck into the centre of this. 

I imported the 2 'M' letters and the 'U' into my software program and flipped one of the M's, and then typed up a sentiment. I resized all the elements to fit my project. I printed out everything onto Copic friendly card, and coloured it up using my pens. The completed scene was die cut into a rectangle and matted onto a postage edged frame cut from green card, and funky foam was added to the back. To finish the card, I added glitter to all the letters to make it sparkle.

Lili Of The Valley - Alphabet Bunnies #1

Hi Everyone

I'm here today to share a sneak peak of the new Lili Of The Valley 'Bunny Alphabet' polymer stamps and digi stamps launch. The launch will take place on Create & Craft TV on Monday 20th @ 5pm (GMT), and then in the LOTV Etsy store soon after. The stamps are very cute and contain the bunnies in different poses alongside letters of the alphabet. The letters work both singularly and combined together, and are perfect for all occasions.

For today's card I used the letter 'E' along with Copic pens to colour her up. It's kind of a hybrid card - it's been physically stamped with a digital sentiment, I kept the overall look clean and simple. I hope you like it. I'll be back tomorrow with another 'Bunny Alphabet' just for Mother's Day.

Here's What I Did & Used

I trimmed down a piece of pastel pink patterned paper to fit a 6" x 6" card blank, leaving a slim border around the edge. In the centre of the card front I glued flat a white die cut filigree frame along with a pink mat. I typed up the 'Happy aster' sentiment and printed it directly onto colouring card stock, then die cut it into a square. Next I stamped the 'Alphabet E Bunnie' alongside the sentiment. The letter, bunnie, snail  and bees were coloured with Copic pens.

The completed scene was attached to a pink scalloped frame, and funky foam was added to the back. Painted pink hearts and pearls were inserted back into each the corner. The completed topper was mounted into the centre of the white filigree frame. To finish the card, I added a white pen to the 'E' and a little glitter to the snail and bees.

Lili Of The Valley - Mindful Butterflies

 Good Morning

Great news!! Today is the launch of the new Spring polymer stamps from Lili Of The Valley, and they are all available in the store now. Yay!! To celebrate the launch day I'm sharing 2 cards made using the 'Mindful Butterflies' stamp set. The stamps are stunning and something slightly different for  LOTV. They are perfect for cards, book marks, journals, mixed media projects. For my samples I watercoloured them using distress re-inkers and shimmery paints. I hope you like them.

Here's What I Did & Used

The process was the same for both card, just different coloured inks and paper were used.

I trimmed down a piece of patterned paper to cover the front of a white DL card blank. The butterfly/flower images was stamped onto watercolouring card, then die cut into a rectangle and coloured with distress re-inkers. To add extra detail the butterfly and circles were painted with gold and purple shimmery paint. Once the paint was dry glitter was applied to the circles. 

The finished picture was mounted onto a scalloped rectangle cut from co-ordinating glitter card, then attached to the card front. To finish the card, I added the small pearls at the top and bottom of the design.

Lili Of The Valley - Floral Frame

 Hello everyone

To celebrate the re-release of the beautiful 'Circular Floral frames' digi stamps from Lili Of The Valley, which have now been made into a polymer stamp set under the name 'Floral Frames'. I recreated a card I made in 2021 using the digital version, the polymer stamp is a little smaller than the one I originally used, but just as beautiful. The flower frame includes lots of different messages which can be stamped inside or outside the frame. I used Copic pens to colour with. I hope you like it.

Here's What I Did

To start with I covered the front of a 6 x 6" card blank with some turquoise grungy paper leaving a slim border around the edge. I resized a digital sentiment I own and printed off onto colouring card. The beautiful flower frame was stamped over the top and coloured using Copic pens, apart from the flowers. The finished image was die cut using a decorative square die, and a piece of white card was glued to the back to give it extra support before adding funky foam. The topper was adhered to the centre of the card front. 

The floral frame was stamp out again onto colouring cardstock, and the flowers were coloured in and then fussy cut out. Glitter was added to each of the flowers, and added to the card front using foam pads directly over their counterpart on the main image. To finish the card I added several pearls around the frame.

Lili Of The Valley - Spring Rabbits #1

Good afternoon

Today I have a sneak peak of a sweet little bunnie card using one of the new Lili Of The Valley springtime polymer stamps sets. All the collections launch on Create & Craft TV on February 20th (time tbc), and then in the LOTV Etsy store soon after. Again this is another very cute stamp set. I 'Spring Rabbits' stamp set and Copic pens to colour it up. I kept my colours and card quite CAS and stuck to 3 colours grey, blue and pink. This set is perfect for so many occasions, you will love them. I hope you like it. FYI I still have a few cards to share with you, but they're totally different, so I'll see you again tomorrow.

Here's What I Did & Used

I trimmed down a piece of soft blue patterned paper to fit a 5" x 7" top fold card blank, leaving a slim border around the edge. I glued a blue die cut filigree frame flat into the centre of the card front, then added the white die cut overlay. I added little blue die cut pink around the frame. 

The Easter bunnie was stamped onto colouring card, die cut into an oval and coloured with Copic pens. Glitter was applied to the hearts and white dots added to her dress. The finished picture was mounted onto a die cut oval frame, then funky foam was adhered to the back. Different sized stars die cut from white and blue glitter card were glued around the oval frame. The completed topper was mounted into the centre of the white filigree frame. 

To finish the card, I added the die cut word' Hello' plus a few small stars cut from glitter card below the topper.

Lili Of The Valley - Teacup Bunnies #1

Good morning

I have a cup full of cuteness for you today. For my sneak peak of the new Lili Of The Valley springtime polymer stamps I used one of the gorgeous 'Teacup Bunnie' polymer stamps. as previously mentioned the stamps launch on Create & Craft TV on February 20th (time tbc), and then in the LOTV Etsy store soon after Isn't it adorable! I used Copic pens to colour her up and kept the colours very clean and pretty. I hope you like it. I'll be back tomorrow with more LOTV inspiration.

Here's What I Did & Used

I trimmed down a piece of pretty pink patterned paper to fit a 6" x 6" scalloped card blank, leaving a slim border around the edge. I glued a white die cut filigree frame flat into the centre of the card front, then added a little pink glitter to the points.

I typed up the 'Hello Spring' sentiment and printed it directly onto colouring card stock, then die cut it into a circle. Next I stamped the teacup bunnie alongside the sentiment and lightly coloured it with Copic pens.

The completed scene was attached to a pink frilly frame, and funky foam was added to the back. The completed topper was mounted into the centre of the white filigree frame. To finish the card, I added a few pearls to the bottom of the card the sentiment and a little glitter to the cup.
