Amanda Jayne design - Emily Holding Bunch Of Flowers

 Hi everyone

I have another sweet card to share with you today, this time it's a cute little unicorn digi stamp from Amanda Jayne Designs. The stamp is called 'Emily Holding Bunch Of Flowers' which I combined with my own sentiment. I used Copic pens colour with. I hope you like it. (For sale - £4.50 + P&P - requests by email please)

Amanda has a lovely array of digi stamp, papers and sentiments in her Etsy shop, along with some pre-coloured images and papers. For your information, here is the link to the Amanda Jayne Designs Etsy Store to check out all the digi stamps and papers.

Here's What I Did
To create the background paper I used a strip die and cut out lots of different widths of different coloured patterned paper and card. The strips were glued down the front of a 6" x 6" card to create a new patterned paper design.

Next I imported the sweet little unicorn stamp into my software and added my own sentiment. The image and sentiment were resized and printed out onto colouring cardstock, then die cut into a scalloped square. Using a pierced square die I added a dotty detail around the square. The image was coloured with Copic pens.

Funky foam was added to the back of the scalloped square and glued to the front of the card. To finish off the card I added a glitter to the mane and horn and a few pearls to the flowers.

Here's What I Used
Copic Pens: Unicorn & Mane - V000, V01, V04, V05, BG000, BG10, BG11, BG13, C7, E01, E02, 0 / Flowers & Horns -  V01, V04, V05, BG10, BG11, BG13

Other: 6" x 6" White Card Blank, Make It Colour Card, Lilac Card, 'My Sweet Provence' Paper Pad (Lemoncraft), Quick Stripes Die Set (Mama Elephant), Scalloped Square Die (Spellbinders), Pierced Square Die (Tonic), Funky Foam, Glitter, Pearls, Glue, Double Sided Tape

 Afternoon everyone

I have a cute card to share with you today using one of the sweet digi stamps from Amanda Jayne Designs. For today's card I used a gorgeous little dragon digi stamp called 'Daisy Sitting Among Flowers' which I combined with a sentiment I created myself. I used distress re-inkers to colour with, and I have to say I'm really enjoying learning how to use the inks, as I'm finding the whole experience relaxing. Lili Of The Valley - Floral Frame

Afternoon everyone

I'm sharing another of my Lili Of The Valley wedding cards to celebrate their 18th birthday and  wedding collection launch on Thursday 12th May. Again I've used the same technique as yesterday. This time I foiled the digi stamp 'Floral Frame' which is beautiful and coloured it using Copic pens. The frame is blank on the inside so you can add whatever you like to it, on this occasion I added my own faux wedding congratulations card information to give you an idea of how it can look. Font information on request. The link will be added after the launch.

As I mentioned in my previous post I do plan to create a tutorial on how to do foiling using a laser printer and laminator, this will be either in a written or video format...or possibly both. When the tutorial is completed I will add it to my Tutorial page (on this blog), the Lili Of the Valley website, and the 'We Love Lili Of Valley' facebook group.

For your information, here is the link to the LOTV Etsy Store to check out all the digi stampsand the LOTV online store to check out the rest of their goodies.

Here's What I Did
I cut to size a piece of pretty pink patterned paper to fit the front of a 5" x 7" top fold card blank, leaving a slim border around the edges.

Using my software I imported the gorgeous floral frame and add the faux wedding card sentiment and resized everything to fit my project. The image was printed onto colouring card using my laser printer.  A piece of gold foil was placed over the top of the image and text (shiny side up), and slotted inside a folded piece of copier paper and put through a laminating machine. When the card was cool I removed the sheet of foil, then coloured in the frame using Copic pens.

The whole image was die cut into an indented rectangle, and mounted onto pink card. Funky foam was added to the back of the completed topper, and then glued to the centre of the card front. To finish the card pink and white pearls were added around the frame, plus a little glitter.

Here's What I Used
Digi Stamp: Floral Frame
Simply Print: Floral Frame

Copic Pens: Flowers & Hearts - RV02, RV10, RV13, RV14 / Leaves - YG01, YG03, YG17

Lili Of The Valley - Wedding Frame

Morning Everyone

Sorry I've been AWOL for a few weeks, but I've had my wonderful daughter visiting and I've not seen her for about 6mths due to work and Covid. We spent a wonderful time catching up, baking, cooking and sewing. She's now safely back with her partner, so it's time for me to do a little catching up of my own. As it happens Lili Of The Valley are celebrating their 18th birthday and launching a gorgeous wedding collection on Thursday 12th May.

So today I'm sharing 'Wedding Bouquet' digi stamp which I coloured with Copic pens. The happy couples names were then added afterwards and foiled. I do plan to create a tutorial about how to foil using a laser printer and laminator, it will either be in a written or video format...or possibly both. When the tutorial is completed I will add it to my Tutorial page (on this blog), the Lili Of the Valley website, and the 'We Love Lili Of Valley' facebook group. The link will be added after the launch.

For your information, here is the link to the LOTV Etsy Store to check out all the digi stampsand the LOTV online store to check out the rest of their goodies.

Here's What I Did
I cut to size a piece of pretty lilac patterned paper to fit the front of a 5" x 7"card blank, leaving a slim border around the edges.

Using my software I imported the pretty bouquet and wedding date and resized everything to fit my project. The image was printed onto copier paper for placement information later. The image was printed again onto colouring card using my inkjet printer, then coloured in with Copic pens. I left the image/text on screen.

To add the foil -
In my software I added the wedding couple's name 'Emily & Paul' in a script font directly over the bouquet image, then removed the bouquet image. The previously coloured image was taped onto the copier paper where it had been printed out before; this time I printed it out using a laser printer. A piece of gold foil was placed over the top of the printed text and slotted inside a folded piece of copier paper and put through a laminating machine.

When the card was cool I removed the sheet of foil showing off the beautiful foiled text. The image was die cut with an oval die and mounted onto lilac card. Funky foam was added to the back of the completed topper, and then glued to the centre of the card front. To finish the card purple pearls were added to the top and bottom.

Here's What I Used
Digi Stamp: Wedding Bouquet
Simply Print: Wedding Bouquet

Copic Pens: Flowers - V01, V04, V12, V15, RV02, RV10, RV13, RV14, Y15, Y38, B00, B02, YG01, YG03, YG17, YG63, YG67

Amanda Jayne Designs - Easter Tilly

Hi there

I have another lovely Easter card to share with you today. This time I created a shaped free standing card using Easter Tilly from Amanda Jayne Designs. The 5½" tall shaped card was made with the help of my electronic cutting machine. The image was coloured with Copic pens and her dress was paper pieced. Below the pictures I've tried to explain how I made, but there were quite a few steps in the process, so if you have any questions please let me know (either email me or leave me your email address in the comments). I hope you like it.

Even though I have created a 3d version of Tilly, she would look equally as pretty flat onto a card or even decoupaged up.

For your information, here is the link to the Amanda Jayne Designs Etsy Store to check out all the digi stamps and papers.

Here's What I Did
Using my Silhouette electronic cutting machine I imported 'Easter Tilly' into my software, and resized her sufficiently so that I would be able to duplicate her and create a top fold card.

To make the shaped card base -- I selected the image and then used the 'Trace' tool and told it to trace the outer edge of it to create a cutting line. Using this outline I used the 'Offset' tool to create a slightly large outline (this was so I would have a slim border around her when she was glued in place). I duplicated the offset image and flip one of the images vertically. I moved the flipped image up so that the ears were slightly touching and made sure they were perfectly inline with each other and of equal distance. I selected them both and welded them. I added a dashed line (fold line) at the section where the ears met. I cut this out from strong white card.

Easter Tilly - The girl image and the original cutline were moved back onto my on-screen mat and then printed out with registration marks. The printout was placed onto my actual cutting mat and cut out. I coloured in her skin and hair with Copic pens. For her dress I printed out a sheet of the Easter paper, then put it back in my printer and printed the image straight onto it. I fussy cut out the dress and glued it in place on the image. The completed image was glued onto the shaped card base.

To finish off I added a little glitter to her hair band and the ribbon around her dress.

Here's What I Used
Easter Digi Paper & Stamp: Easter Digi Bundle

Copic Pens: Skin - E000, E00, E11, R20, R30 / Hair - YR000, YR00, E13, E99 / Bunny Eats & Shirt - C0, C1, R00, R20, R30

Hi there

So if you're not already a member, why not head over to the group and get joining. FYI, there's also a video on how to use digi stamps. I've teamed the cute bunnie up with one of Amanda's digi papers from the Easter bundle set, and one of my own sentiments. All the links are below. I imported the Easter bunnie and sentiment into my software, and resized them to fit my project. The scene was printed out onto watercolouring card, and then die cut into a  fancy square to match the card blank. The image was coloured with watercolour pens.

The completed picture was glued onto a fancy yellow mat and then onto the card front. To finish off I added a few die cut hearts and a little glitter to the bow around the egg.
