Amanda Jayne Designs - Playful Penguins

Hi everyone

I'm sharing a my latest card  for Amanda Jayne Designs. I used a few of the penguins from a newly launched collection called 'Playful Penguins'. I used Kraft card and pencils to colour the little trio in and added a sentiment and paper from my own stash. I hope you like it. (For sale - £4.50 + P&P - requests by email please)

Amanda has a lovely array of digi stamp, papers and sentiments in her Etsy shop, along with some pre-coloured images and papers. For your information, here is the link to the Amanda Jayne Designs Etsy Store or go to Etsy and search for Amanda Jane Designs 80 to check out all her lovely digi stamps and papers.

Here's What I Did
I trimmed down some red tartan paper to fit the 5" x 7" top fold card leaving a slim border around the edge. The 3 penguins were imported into my software and resized to fit my project. I printed out everything onto Kraft card, then coloured them up using pencils. The finished scene was die cut into a rectangle and the sentiment was stamped in black ink in the top portion. When the ink was dry the scene was matted onto a red card. To finish the card I added white snowdrops and stars in the background. The completed topper was added to the card front.

Here's What I Used

Amanda Jayne Designs - Christmas Bear

 Hi everyone

I'm sharing a new card and image for Amanda Jayne Designs. Amanda has launched a few new collections and the image I've used is from the new Christmas collection called 'Christmas Bear' which I combined with a digi paper and sentiment from my stash. I used Copic pens colour with.

Here's What I Did
To printed off a sheet of digital paper and trimmed it down to fit the front of a 6" x 6" card blank, leaving a slim border around the edge. A large white die cut snowflake was glue flat onto the centre of the card.

I imported the same digital paper as before and added a sentiment over the top, resized it and changed it to white text instead of black. The pattern paper was printed out onto card and die cut into a circle. Using the same die a circle was cut out from white card; the bottom section was cut out with a slight curve to create a snowy mound. Copic pen was added to the card to create a snowy shadow.

The cute little bear was imported into my software and resized. I created a pile of snowballs in my software by layering up circles, and bringing some forward and sending others backwards. I printed out both the bear and the snowballs onto colouring cardstock, then coloured them both up using Copic pens. Both images were fussy cut out, and glued onto the white section of the circle to create a scene.

Funky foam was added to the back of the circle topper and attached the centre of the snowflake.. To complete the card I added a touch of glitter here and there.

Here's What I Used

Digi Stamps: Amanda Jayne Designs - Christmas Bear

Copics Pens: Bear - E31, E33, E35, E59 / Clothes & Hat - R05, R17, R27, R59, C1, C2  / Snow & Snowballs - BG01, BG10, BG11

Other: 6" x 6" White Card Blank, Make It Colour Card, White Card, 'Cloudy Evening Skies' Digital Paper (Lili Of The Valley), Pro Print Paper (Create & Craft), '60 Christmas Circular & More' Digital Christmas Sentiment (Lili Of The Valley), Snowflake Frame Die (Sweet Dixie), Double Pierced Circle Die (Crealies), Funky Foam, Glitter, Gold Pen, Glue, Double Sided Tape

The characters were then glued in place on the snowy mound. The completed topper was mounted onto a fancy die cut frame and glued onto the centre of the card front. Lili Of The Valley - Christmas Gnomes

Morning everyone

I'm sharing the first of my Lili Of The Valley cards using some of the brand new Christmas stamps. The stamps are all clear polymer stamps and include gnomes, polar bears, penguin and much more (some of them are quite big). Please note, there are no digi stamps this time around, so this launch is perfect for the physical stampers out there. The collection launches on Create and Craft at 12 Noon on Tuesday 2nd August. You can watch in the UK on Sky 683, Freeview 85 or watch online anywhere at https://createandcraft.com (or you can watch it later online if you miss it). The gorgeous new polymer stamps will also be launched on the LOTV Etsy shop a week later as stamps.

For my trio of cards today I used the cute 'Christmas Gnome' stamps and sentiments and made them into tag cards; I used Copic pens and mostly stuck to the same colours to colour with. I will be sharing more cards over the weekend, I hope you like them.

For your information, here is the link to the LOTV Etsy Store to check out all the stampsand the LOTV online store to check out the rest of their goodies.

Lili Of The Valley - Armchair Bear

Morning everyone

I'd like to share a card I rarely make these days....a Father's Day card. Unfortunately I don't have anyone to make this type of card for these days, so it was lovely to make one using a sweet Lili Of the Valley digi stamp. When the offer was on I bought the complete Lili Of The Valley digi stamp collection, so now I'm spoilt for choice.

So for today's card I used Armchair Bear and colour it using Distress re-inkers, pads and pens. I hope you like it. (For sale - £4.50 + P&P - requests by email please )

The finished scene was mounted on a green square mat then onto a blue scalloped square mat.  Funky foam was added to the back of the completed topper, and then glued to the centre of the card front. To finish the card the word 'dad' was die cut from green and blue card and glued to the front of the card.

Amanda Jayne design - Emily Holding Bunch Of Flowers

 Hi everyone

I have another sweet card to share with you today, this time it's a cute little unicorn digi stamp from Amanda Jayne Designs. The stamp is called 'Emily Holding Bunch Of Flowers' which I combined with my own sentiment. I used Copic pens colour with. I hope you like it. (For sale - £4.50 + P&P - requests by email please)

Amanda has a lovely array of digi stamp, papers and sentiments in her Etsy shop, along with some pre-coloured images and papers. For your information, here is the link to the Amanda Jayne Designs Etsy Store to check out all the digi stamps and papers.

Here's What I Did
To create the background paper I used a strip die and cut out lots of different widths of different coloured patterned paper and card. The strips were glued down the front of a 6" x 6" card to create a new patterned paper design.

Next I imported the sweet little unicorn stamp into my software and added my own sentiment. The image and sentiment were resized and printed out onto colouring cardstock, then die cut into a scalloped square. Using a pierced square die I added a dotty detail around the square. The image was coloured with Copic pens.

Funky foam was added to the back of the scalloped square and glued to the front of the card. To finish off the card I added a glitter to the mane and horn and a few pearls to the flowers.

Here's What I Used
Copic Pens: Unicorn & Mane - V000, V01, V04, V05, BG000, BG10, BG11, BG13, C7, E01, E02, 0 / Flowers & Horns -  V01, V04, V05, BG10, BG11, BG13

Other: 6" x 6" White Card Blank, Make It Colour Card, Lilac Card, 'My Sweet Provence' Paper Pad (Lemoncraft), Quick Stripes Die Set (Mama Elephant), Scalloped Square Die (Spellbinders), Pierced Square Die (Tonic), Funky Foam, Glitter, Pearls, Glue, Double Sided Tape
