Evening All
Just a quick message to anyone who is kindly 'following' my blog or would like to. It would seem that Blogger are having a wee bit of a problem with the 'followers' list, they seem to be disappearing from people's blogs - mine included (as you'll notice). Plus there's no remedy in sight, so beware bloggers it could be your blog next!!
So if you want to follow my blog or have already subscribed (as I have no idea who you are because of my missing list, sob :( ).....kindly leave me a comment here along with your email address and I'll send you a message whenever I update my blog.. No pressure though! Or just pop back whenever the mood takes you.
Take care.

Trudy's Party Dress
This is my entry into Mo Mannings 'Trudy's Party Dress' challenge on her facebook page.
She was such a sweetie to colour in, which I did several times so that I could layer her up to give her some dimension...ahh bless!! So this is my card entry to compete in the challenge - my 1st with Mo and my 2nd ever attempt at any contest. Wish me luck!!
I used Promarkers to colour her in and my one and only Copic:
Sky Blue, Saffon, Blush, Rose Pink, Caramel, Canary, Cool Grey, Cornflower and E95.
Background: QVC's TSV Kanban stamp, Big & Juicy 'Mountain' inkpad
Flower: Sizzix Flower Layer Set, Big & Juicy 'Mountain' inkpad.
Hope you like, if you do why not leave me a comment.
Love

I'm Back!
Well, I promised you that I would update my blog. so I've added a slideshow and a visitor feed viewer, also due to what looked like spam messages I felt it necessary to remove the Chat Box - if you did leave me a message I apologise. Anyway I hope you like the changes I've made and I hope you'll visit me often, and if you like a card I've made why not leave me a comment or become a follower.
Well here's the first card for you to look at. It was a card made for my mum to give to my step-dad on his birthday.
I cut out a cloud shapes, an oval aperature, tore a wave shape from paper and created a mask of the man and the boat. Then using these shapes I sponged through the aperture and behind the topper onto the card blank to continue the design. The materials I used:
Image - Fishing (from Mo Manning Digital Pencil)
'Waterfall' Big & Juicy pad - sea, fish, paper strip, edge of the card
Faded Jeans Distressed Ink - sky, edge of the card
Promarkers - Fisherman
Nestibilities - Sentiment tag
Computerised sentiement

I'm such a bad blogger!
Tusk Tusk!!! I've been a bad blogger, it's been a year since I last blogged. But my excuse is that I've had such a busy time of it., what with my daughter's graduation, holiday time, Christmas, my new Cricut baby. Then there's been one poorly daughter, mum, stepdad, mum again, stepdad again, and me twice with flu and a wonky eye. Plus working, teaching, help support my mum and stepdad)who can't get out and about with help), and seeing my hubbie when I've had 5 mins spare, and oh yes doing the odd bit of cardmaking. OMG how did I manage to get through all that since last May. No wonder I'm exhausted :)
Well, I back and ready to craft and try some new things out ie brayering (which is my newest venture) and making handmade flowers. I plan to revamp my bloggy home and make it even prettier bit by bit and I've made a promise to myself and to you that I'll make every effort to be a good blogger and blog as often as I can and upload any new creations.

Mo's Boy
I made this for my mum to give to my nephew (...sssh!), his birthday's not until next week. The brilliant image from Mo Manning was a dream to colour, and it soooo looks like my nephew. I used my favourite Promarkers to colour him in and used blue chalk around him. The background was printed directly onto the A5 card using Greeting Card Factory. I tend to use GCF most of the time as this allows me to print my digital papers and images straight onto the card I'm using, plus I use it for making my insert. Sometimes I'll use it just for setting out my layout of my card to give me ideas. I must admit I wouldn't be without it! Sorry about the quality of the photo. I'll try and upload another one later.

Anniversary Wishes
Made for my boss and his wife (my work colleague). I decided to make use of my birthday pressie (Tonic Studio Border system and Punch), so I made a border around the envelope flap. The flap was stamped with a swirly stamp using a Versmark inkpad. The swirly frame (centre) was imported into Inkscape and my Craft Robo software and redrawn using a brown sakura glitter pen and then cut out (I love my CR)!!!
OMG I love brown and beige...boring I know, but I just can't help myself.......X
A bowl of sherbet
I made this card for my niece, and decided to make use of thelovely paper from Fred She Said. The gorgeous image is from Mo's Digital Pencil, and she was a dream to colour. When I uploaded it to Mo's forum on Paper Craft Plant, Mo (the illustrator - an extremely talented lady) described it as 'cheery as a bowl of sherbet.
LOL thanks Mo, that sounds perfect!!!

My Birthday
I had a lovely day yesterday with my hubbie and a wonderful phone call from my lovely daughter Heather, who I miss terribly. This is my first birthday since she was born that she hasn't been here with me to help me celebrate. Thanks to all my friends and family who left birthday messages on my Facebook wall.
I received a few gift vouchers and money for my birthday to spend in Hobby Craft......and of course I did! Then hubbie and I got takeway Pizza and watched a movie...ahh such joy!
I can't way to use my crafting goodies - I bought the Tonic Studio border system and 2 punches plus Label 4 nestibilities. I can't wait to use them all later today. I'll post my creation when it's finished.
