Amanda Jane Designs - Tied With A Bow

 Morning Everyone

Today I have my Amanda Jane Designs (AJD) designer hat on today, and I'm sharing my latest card using another of her cute bears from the 'Bear Bundle', which I teamed up with one of her pretty digital paper. The cute bear can also be bought on it's own, it's called 'Tied with A Bow' (see the links below). I just love these little guys. I used distress re-inkers to colour with. I hope you like it. (For sale - £4.50 + P&P - requests by email please)

Every month Amanda has a wonderful challenge in her Facebook group (see link at the bottom of the page), with a different theme each month. You can enter your card, tag or colouring etc into the competition as long as you use one of her images or papers, and it meets the theme. You can win lovely digi stamps as a prize. So in this month (April) it's 'Pastel Colours', and you still have time to enter. So what are you waiting for.

Amanda has lots of  lovely digi stamp, papers and sentiments in her Etsy shop, along with some pre-coloured images and papers. Note, there's a wonderful 25% off sale on atm, so grab a bargain! Here is the link to the Amanda Jayne Designs Etsy Store to check out all the digi stamps and papers.

Here's What I Did
I printed the pink sheet from AJD digital papers, then trimmed it down to fit the front of a 5" x 7" scalloped card blank, leaving a slim border around the edge. This was attached to the card front.
I imported the cute little bear into my software and add a sentiment of my own, then resized them both to fit my project. The image was printed onto watercolour cardstock.

The image was printed again onto masking paper and fussy cut out, this was placed over the top of the image on the paper. Using a heart stencil I applied pink ink through it, then removed the stencil and the masks. The image was coloured with distress ink pads and re-inkers. I drew a horizontal line across the bottom of the scene to ground the bear, and then painted in a grassy effect.

The completed scene was glued to an rectangle postage stamp frame cut from pink card. The finished topper was adhered to the centre of the card front. To finish off the card I added glitter to the heart, and added a mini butterfly with a pearl.

Lili Of The Valley - All Occasions Penguins

Morning Everyone

I'm back sharing another of the cute little penguin stamps from Lili Of The Valley. I'm so sorry I know it's a Christmas card, but I couldn't resist this sweet couple. The stamp I used is available in both a digi stamp set called 'All Occasions Penguins' set and a polymer stamp set called 'Everyday Penguins' (see the links below the photos). For my card today I used the digi version of the stamp, and combined it with a digital watercolour background and splashes, and a Christmas sentiment. To coloured up the stamp I used my distress re-inkers. I hope you like it. x

For your information, here is the link to the LOTV Online  Shop and the LOTV Etsy Store to check out all the stampsFYI you can use both sites to purchase the stamps.

Here's What I Did & Used
I trimmed down a piece of lovely blue paper to fit the front of a 6" x 6" card blank, leaving a slim border around the edge. Using my software I imported the background splatter and added the cute penguins over the top along with the sentiment, everything was resized to fit my project. The complete scene was printed directly onto watercolouring paper, and then die cut into a square.

The scene was coloured with distress re-inkers, and white pen and glitter was added to the snowflakes. When everything was dry I glued it to a square mat that was cut from snowflake patterned paper, then onto a white postage stamp frame. Funky foam was adhered to the back of the topper and glued to the centre of the card front. To finished the card pearls were added around the sentiment.

Amanda Jane Designs - Hello Bear

Hi Everyone

Today I am sharing one of Amanda Jane Designs (AJD) digi stamps and papers, which I love. If you remember I was asked to be her Guest Designer for a few months, well Amanda asked if I would join the Design Team (DT) until the end of December, and of course I said yes. So I will be rotating my posts between AJD and my long standing placement with the Lili Of the Valley DT.

Every month Amanda has a wonderful challenge in her Facebook group (see link at the bottom of the page), which have a different theme each month. You can enter your card, tag etc into the competition as long as you use one of her images or papers and it meets the theme. You can win lovely digi stamps as a prize. As it's 'Pastel Colours' this month, I've create a card using one of the cute bears from her 'Bear Bundle', which I teamed up with one of her pretty digital paper. FYI the bear can also be bought on it's own, it's called 'Hello Bear' (see the links below). I used my favourite medium to colour with - distress re-inkers. I hope you like it. (For sale - £4.50 + P&P - requests by email please)

Here's What I Did
I printed off one of AJD digital papers and trimmed it down to fit the front of a 6" x 6" card blank, leaving a slim border around the edge. This was attached to the card front.

I imported the cute little bear into my software and add a digi sentiment from my stash, both were then resized to fit my project. The image was printed onto watercolour cardstock, then die cut with an cross stitch circle die. The image was coloured with distress ink pads and re-inkers. I drew a horizontal line across the bottom of the scene to ground the bear, and then painted in a grassy effect.

The completed scene was glued to an ornate circle cut from blue card, then funky foam was added to the back. The finished topper was adhered to the centre of the card front. To finish off the card I added glitter to the butterflies, punched out mini butterflies and a few pearls.

Lili Of The Valley - Birthday Penguins

 Afternoon Everyone

Today I'm sharing more of the sweet 'Birthday Penguins' from Lili Of The Valley. Theses little guys are available in both a digi stamp set and a polymer stamp set (see the links below the photos). For my card today I used the digi version of two of the cute penguins, and combined them with a digital watercolour background and splashes, plus a 'Happy birthday' sentiment. I digitally coloured the whole scene using my Ipad Pro/pencil and Procreate App, plus a few texture brushes. The completed scene was printed onto hammered card and mounted. I just love how vibrant this one turned out especially as I didn't use any special printer settings. I hope you like it!

For your information, here is the link to the LOTV Online  Shop and the LOTV Etsy Store to check out all the stampsFYI you can use both sites to purchase the stamps.

Here's What I Did & Used
The penguin images and the watercolour background/splashes were imported into my digital app - Procreate on my Ipad Pro, then coloured up with pencil. To add extra texture to the scene I used a couple of digital brushes from a couple of my favourite artists.  After saving the completed image I imported it into my computer software and add a sentiment, everything was then resized to fit my project. The completed scene was printed onto directly onto white hammered card and die cut into a rectangle, then mounted onto a postage stamp frame cut from pink card. To complete the card I glued the completed topper onto the card front and added a little glitter.
