Lili Of The Valley - Wedding Bunnies

Morning everyone

I'm sharing my latest Lili Of The Valley card using the gorgeous newly released 'wedding' collection. The new collection are not just perfect for weddings but also engagements, anniversaries and Valentine - basically all 'love' occasion. for my card I used the digi stamp version with watercolour paints, but the image is also available as a pre-coloured Simply Print.

The stamp I used is called Wedding Bunnies; I partnered it with a sentiment from the Simply Sophisticated collection. I used Distress Re-inkers for the bunnies and distress inks in the background. I hope you like it. (For sale - £4.50 + P&P - requests by email please )

I want to say a big thank you to my lovely friend and fellow Design teamies Annette for all her help and advice with the re-inkers. Please check out her cards and colouring as they're all stunning (https://nettyscards.blogspot.com).

For your information, here is the link to the LOTV Etsy Store to check out all the digi stampsand the LOTV online store to check out the rest of their goodies.

Here's What I Did
I cut to size a piece of blue watercolour effect patterned paper to fit the front of a 6" x 6"card blank, leaving a slim border around the edge.

Using my software I imported the cute bunnies and the sentiment, then resized them both to fit my project. The scene was printed onto watercolouring card and die cut into a circle. The bunnie image was printed again onto masking paper and fussy cut out. The bunnie mask was placed over the images and blue distress ink was apply around them. When the ink was dry the mask was removed and the scene was coloured with distress re-inkers and distress pens. A blue scalloped frame was glued onto the circle around the bunnies, and then onto a white scalloped circle. Funky foam was added to the back of the completed topper, and then glued to the centre of the card front over the top of a lacy frame which I glued flat to the front of the card. To complete the card glitter and pearls were added.
