Lili Of the Valley - Christmas Launch #3

Hi everyone

I'm sharing another bit of Christmas fun with you. I'm so sorry I keep mentioning the 'C' word, but it is only 14 weeks away...eek!  Lol Anyhow I'm sharing another of the new Lili Of The Valley (LOTV) digi stamps which launched last week.  The new stamps include cute mice, elephants and sentiments, they're stunning images and you will love them. :)

So today I've coloured up one of the mice images, showing them all snuggled up in a Christmas stocking. I used one of the cute elephant digi stamps called 'Squeaky Stocking' and a sentiments from the 'Christmas Wishes' collection, and printed it quite large to really show it off. I coloured the stamp using my pencils on  brown colouring card. I hope you like it. x

For your information, here is the link to the LOTV Etsy Store to check out all the digi stampsand the LOTV online store to check out the rest of their goodies.

Here's What I Did
I completely covered the front of a 5" x 7" white card blank with pretty Christmas paper. Next I imported the stocking and sentiment digi stamps into my graphics program, then resized them both  so they would fit my project.  The image was then printed directly onto colouring card stock and die cut into a rectangle. The stocking image was then coloured in using pencils.  The completed image was added to a scalloped edge mat, cut from dark red card. Funky foam was added to the back of the topper and then added to the centre of the card front.

To finish my card I added an assortment of sequins and gems to the card front.

You didn't leave an email address so I could reply to you. So instead I'm replying here and hope you come back.
The little stitching marks come from the rectangle die I used. There are a lot of dies on the market that have stitched and pierced marks build into them, and they cut this pattern into your card. Definitely check them out as they create a lovely pattern on your project. I hope the info helps. Janine x
