Whimsy Stamps Inspiration - December Week 5

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year

For some of you, by the time this post is live it will be 2019, but for some it's still hours away....like me. No matter where you are in the world have a fabulous time, and best wishes and all my love for 2019. Thank you so much for visiting my blog during 2018 and for your support...it means the world to me.

So onto today, well this one is my last Christmas card and my last card for 2018. I am sharing another of the gorgeous little snowmen by CC Designs, this digi stamp is called 'Snowman and Bird' and it's part of this month's new stamp release in the Whimsy online store.

Here's What I Did
I trimmed down a piece of tartan patterned paper and covered the front of a 5" x 7" white top fold card blank leaving a white border around the edge.

Using a graphics program the digital image was printed directly onto colouring card, die cut into an rectangle then coloured using Copic pens. The coloured image was then attached to a rectangle panel cut from deep red card on a slight angle. Both panels were then attached to the card front using foam pads.

A poinsettia was die cut from the same deep red card used previously along with 2 green leaves. the flower and leaves along with a few gems was attached to the card front. To finish the card glitter was added to the snowman, along with a few gems at the top and bottom of the card.
