Sugar Nellie Design Team Card - Scrapberry's

- Hello Sugar Fans -

Good morning everyone!
It's Wednesday and my turn to share my Sugar Nellie Design Team creation with you; our stamp theme this week is Scrapberry's, so I used one of the new cute baby stamps.
First I decided to create a tag using one of these gorgeous mini stamps, but once I made my little cloud scene I changed my mind and turned it into a mini card. This could be used as a gift tag, birth announcement, or baby shower card. I used 'Minty Bunny' and coloured it with Copic pens.
This stamp and lots of other Scrapberry cuties are available to buy from Funkykits.

Here's What I Did
Firstly I die cut a frame using 2 different dies - one for the outside edge and one to cut out the centre portion. Using the same die for the outside edge I also cut out a mini card base from a much larger card base. Then using the same die again I also cut out a piece of patterned paper for the background, 2 pieces of white vellum (clouds) and a piece of blue complementary card (hill). Next I stamped and embossed the word 'baby' onto the top left area of the background paper.

Using a cloud border die I cut the 2 pieces of vellum so that they would lay on top of each when added to the background paper and then I die cut a hill from the blue card. The clouds and hill were then carefully glued onto the background paper and the white frame was then added over the top to create a cloudy scene. The finished topper was taped onto the mini card base using strong red tape.

The bunny image was stamped directly onto colouring card, coloured with Copic markers and carefully cut out. This was then added to the card front using foam tape. The words 'With Love' was die cut from white card and glued into place just below the bunny.

To completed the card I used clear glossy pen on the bunny's nose and the ladybird, dotted die cut stars around the image tucking some behind the clouds, and added glitter pen to the bell and flower.

I think I wrote my comment about this wee guy on the SN blog?! So thought I'd left you one. Such a cute image, I had great fun colouring this up for my pals bubby's first birthday. Super cute images and so much fun to colour. Love, love, LOVE your gorgeous card. The vellum details are fabulous. Hugs, Wends x
