Sugar Nellie Design Team Card - Elf Made Magic

Good morning sugar fans!

Well  here we are again, it's my turn to share my Sugar Nellie DT card with you today. I've been making so many spring/summery cards that I thought I should turn my hand to making a Christmas card. And why not, in the land of cardmaking we can make whatever we want, whenever we want, because we can!!! Lol

So onto my Sugar Nellie card for you today and I've used the digital stamp 'Elf Made Magic'. I have used this gorgeous stamp before but it was a pre-coloured image produced by Hobby House for Sugar Nellie; this time I wanted to colour it myself.  So if you want to get ahead and make some Christmas cards in May - make sure you visit Funkykits (the home of Sugar Nellie) and have a good peek at all the fab images we offer - they're available in both rubber and in digital format.

Here's What I Did
To make my card I printed my image and sentiment directly onto a piece of A4 card which I cut down to size, this was then scored to create my card base. I coloured my image with Copic pens, and added a piece of Christmassy patterned paper and a strip of red card to the top edge of the card base.  To finish off I added a wooden snowflake, glittery enamel dots and some glitter.

This colour combo is absolutely stunning...such a lovely twist on the traditional red and green - the aqua really works well with red.

But that's not where the stunning ends because then there's the wonderful CAS design and your colouring...such fabulous depth of shading and I am definitely going to have to buy this cutie!

Big hugs, Kat xx
