Lili Of The Valley - Baby #2

Hi there

As promised, I'm back again with another Lili of the Valley card using one of the new digi stamps. For this card I have used 'Girl With Balloon' stamp. FYI, the image also includes one with a circle behind her and they are sent in PNG and JPG format. The sentiment is from the 'Simply Baby Greetings' set  and can be found in the shop. I used Copics to colour with. I hope you like it. x

For your information, here is the link to the LOTV Etsy Store to check out all the digi stampsand the LOTV online store to check out the rest of their goodies.

Here's What I Did
I covered the front of a 6" x 6" scalloped card blank with pretty pink paper, leaving a slim border around the edge. A pretty doily die cut circle was then glued flat into the centre of the card front.

Using my graphics software I imported the gorgeous little girl image and a sentiment, then resized them both to fit my project. The image and sentiment were printed directly onto colouring cardstock and die cut with a circle die. The image was coloured in using Copic pens and the finished picture was mounted onto a pink scalloped circle. Funky foam was glued to the back of the circle and attached to the card front directly over the white doily. Glitter was added to the stars. To finish the card I added a few die cut baby embellishments and some pearls.

Here's What I Used
Digital Sentiment: Simple Baby Greetings

Copics: Skin - E11, E13, E25 / Balloon, Outfit & Socks - RV00, RV10, RV13, RV21 / Starts Y15, Y17 / Ground - W00, W01, W02, W03

Today's 'Boy with balloon' card is made using one of the new baby stamps, there are 4 new stamps in total (2 versions of the baby girl stamp and 2 of the boy stamp), and they are in JPG and PNG format. They're all adorable. The sentiment elements are from a previous launch, and can be found in the shop (see the link below). The topper was glued flat onto a scalloped square mat cut from blue card, then funky foam was added to the back. The whole topper was attached to the centre of the card front. Glitter was added to the stars. To finish the card I added die cut yellow glitter stars and baby embellishments.

Hi there

I'm back today with more Lili Of The Valley cuteness. To celebrate the launch of the 'Vintage Boy' collection I'm sharing another card this time a digi stamp which I coloured with Prismacolor pencils. I used the digi stamp 'Elbow Grease', a new digital paper and another of the sentiments from the 'Grunge Stamp' set. All the images are available as digi stamps and pre-coloured and sized versions in the Simply prints PDF's. The collection includes: Simply Prints, digi stamps, papers and sentiments, they all launch today (Monday 17th May) in the LOTV Etsy shop. All the links are below the photo section.

Firstly I printed off one of the gorgeous new digital papers from Lili Of The Valley directly onto to digital paper. The paper was trimmed down and added to the front of a 6" x 6" card blank leaving a slim border around the edge.

Next, I imported the image and sentiment into my graphics program, then decided on my topper shape, in this case a square and created a dotty border in brown. The image and sentiment were resized to fit inside the square I created, everything was then printed onto toned tan paper. The image was coloured using  Prismacolour pencils. FYI, I did film my colouring process, and hope to create a video of it very soon, so watch this space.

The completed image was backed onto thin card and die cut into a square, then added to a brown die cut scalloped square. Funky foam was glued to the back of the topper and added to the card front. To finish the card I added a few die cut cogs to the top and bottom of the card.

Here's What I Used

Digital  Paper: Coffee Bean
Digital Sentiment: Grunge Stamps

Lili Of the Valley - Vintage Boys #1

Hi everyone

How is everyone doing? Well I celebrated my 60th birthday since I last posted, and thanks to my daughter and husband I had an absolutely fabulous day - full of surprises, love and laughter. The day wasn't totally perfect as my daughter, who is still protecting herself at home couldn't share the day with us in person. FYI I haven't seen her in person for almost a year and a half due to the pandemic. Anyhow, but hopefully that will change very soon....fingers crossed. :)

Right that's the 'catch up' stuff done. Lol

So today I'm sharing a sneaky peak of one of the new Lili Of The Valley vintage boys, they are all just so adorable. For my card I have used one of the Vintage Boy Simply Prints called 'Wallpaper Paste', one of the 'Dusky Watercolour' papers and a sentiment from the 'Grunge Stamp' set. All the new digi stamps are also available as pre-coloured versions in Simply prints PDF's. The whole collection - Simply Prints, digi stamps, papers and sentiments all launch in the LOTV Etsy shop on Monday (17th March).

I hope you like it. (This card is for sale - please email me).

For your information, here is the link to the LOTV Etsy Store to check out all the digi stampsand the LOTV online store to check out the rest of their goodies.

Here's What I Did
To start with I printed the Simply Print vintage boy image onto 300gsm white card and trimmed it down to fit my 5" x 7" black card blank whilst leaving a slim border around the edge. I used a fancy edge die on the bottom section, then glued funky foam onto the back. The digital paper was taken into my graphics program where I placed the sentiment over the top. The paper was printed straight onto smooth printer paper and trimmed it down to match the width of the card topper. The paper was glued to the card front first, and the topper piece was glued over the top of that. To finish the card I added a few glossy dots on both the top and bottom.

Here's What I Used
Simply Print: Vintage Boy - Wallpaper Paste (also available as part of a set here)
The digi stamps of this image can be found here
Digital  Paper: Dusky Watercolour
Digital Sentiment: Grunge Stamps
The Grunge Stamps & Typewriter Set can be found here

Other: 5" x 7" Black Card Blank, White 300gsm Card, Pro Print Paper, Fancy Edge Dies (Crealies), Funky Foam, Glue, Double Sided Tape, Blue & Brown Enamel Dots

Lili Of the Valley - Special Friend Wreath

 Hello everyone

Wow, I can't believe we are in April...where on earth did the past 3 months go! I also cannot believe that I will hit the 'big 6-0' later this month. When I was a little girl, people who were 60 and beyond were simply OLD, but now I have a totally different view on on that....surprisingly enough. Lol

Moving swiftly on, today I'm sharing another newly released collection called 'Circle Floral Frames with Beautiful  Messages'. These flower frames are gorgeous and includes lots of different messages inside plus one that is blank along with lots of separate sentiments. The one I used is called 'Special Friend'. I used Copic pens to colour with. I hope you like it.

For your information, here is the link to the LOTV Etsy Store to check out all the digi stampsand the LOTV online store to check out the rest of their goodies.

Here's What I Did

Using my graphics software I imported the beautiful flower frame and resized it to fit my project. The image was printed twice onto colouring cardstock, one of the images was die cut with a decorative square die. The image was coloured in using Copic pens apart from the flowers, then mounted onto a piece of white card to give it some support. Funky foam was added to the back of the topper to give it some height and attached to the centre of the card.

On the 2nd images that was printed out, only the flowers were coloured in and fussy cut out. Glitter was added to each of the flowers, and then added to the card front using foam pads directly over their counterpart on the main image. To finish the card I added several pearls around the frame.

Here's What I Used

Copic Pens: Leaves - YG01, YG03, YG17, YG23, YG63, YG67 / Flowers & Berries - V000, V12, V15, V17, RV10, RV14, RV21, Y17, BG10, BG11, BG13

Other: 6" x 6" White Card Blank, Make It Colour Blending Card, Decorative Nested Square Dies (Craft Buddy), White Card, Pearls, Light Tones - Grunge Paper Pad (Craft Consortium), Glitter, Glue, Double Sided Tape, Funky Foam, Foam Pads

Lili Of The Valley - Mother's Day #2

Afternoon everyone

I'm back again with another peek of one of the new digi stamps, papers and sentiments from Lili Of The Valley. As I mentioned in my previous post the new Mother's Day/Spring/Easter collections will be launched in the LOTV Etsy shop tomorrow (4th March).

For my card I have again used the 'Shoes, Shoes, Shoes' digi stamp, but this time I teamed it up with a paper from the 'Whimsical Damask' collection and a sentiment from the 'Embossed Labels 2' set. I used Copic pens to colour in part of the stamp and paper pieced the rest. I hope you like her.

For your information, here is the link to the LOTV Etsy Store to check out all the digi stampsand the LOTV online store to check out the rest of their goodies.

Here's What I Did
In my graphics program I inserted the digital paper and printed it off onto smooth printer paper twice. I trimmed down one of the sheets and added it to the front of a 6" x 6" scalloped card blank, leaving a slim border around the edge.

I went back to my graphics program and using the same digital paper I added the girl image over the top of it. I resized the girl image to fit my project and then moved her to the desired position on the paper; once I was happy I removed the paper from the screen (so as not to print it out again), then sent it to print again. The outline of the girl image was now printed onto the digital paper; I fussy cut out the ribbon and bow, the bottom most gift box plus her little dress. NB - Lili Of the Valley have produced a written tutorial to help you with this technique - here. Using my graphics software, I printed out the girl image again directly onto colouring cardstock and die cut into a square. Using Copic pens I coloured in parts of the hat, her skin, shoes and one of the boxes. The patterned paper pieces I cut out earlier were then glued into place.

The completed image was mounted onto a teal fancy die cut square, and funky foam was glued to the back and attached to the centre of the card front. Glitter was added to the gift box.

To finish the card, the embossed digi sentiments was recoloured from black to teal to tie in with the card using my graphics program. The printed out sentiments were trimmed down and attached to the card front using foam pads. The tutorial for this is on my 'Tutorial, Tips & Hints' page on this blog or in the 'We Love Lili Of The Valley' facebook group.

Here's What I Used
Digital Stamp: Shoes, Shoes, Shoes
Digital  Paper: Whimsical Damask
Digital Sentiment: Embossed Labels 2

Copic Pens: Skin - E000, E00, E01, E11 / Hair - YR000, E13, E99 / Hat, Shoes - BG10, BG11, BG13, BG34, BG49 / Socks - B0000, B000 / Presents - BG10, BG34, BG49 / Ground - E21, E53, E57

Other: 6" x 6" White Scalloped Card Blank, Make It Colour Blending Card, Decorative Nested Squares (Craft Buddy), Teal Card (Tonic), Glitter, Glue, Double Sided Tape, Funky Foam, Foam Pads

Hi everyone

How are you all doing? Are you all still coping with the pandemic and the all lockdowns/restrictions? I do hope so. Fingers crossed with all the vaccinations going on around the world, especially here in the UK we will get back to a new 'normal' very soon. I miss my daughter and her partner who I haven't seen in person for over a year, and I miss going out with my hubbie and friends for a coffee and a slice of cake. I hit the big '60' next month and it looks like it's going to be a quiet celebration...just me and hubbie.
