Craft Consortium - Farm Meadow 'Pick Of The Crop'

Hi everyone 💙

T
oday I'm excited to give you another 'sneak peak' of the fabulous new collection from Craft Consortium called 'Farm Meadow' (in partnership with British designer & illustrator Clare Therese Gray). This amazing collection will be launched on Create & Craft TV on Monday 17th February @ 6pm. The products will thereafter also be available to buy here in the UK on the Craft Consortium and good craft retailer's websites, and in the USA. As mentioned yesterday the collection has a rustic theme with vegetables, florals, farm animals and a tractor etc. The collection contains fabulous A6 stamp sets, a 6" x 6" and 12" x 12" paper pad, plus wooden shapes etc. You need to check it out!!

Today I'm sharing 2 cards I made using the 'Pick Of The Crop' stamp set and some of the pretty paper from the pad. On both cards I used my Copic pens. I do hope you like them both. I will be back with more over the next few days. If you have any questions about the collection, just leave me a message and your email address and I will get back to you. x

The links to the products are listed below, or you can also go to the Craft Consortium's website using this link here and sign up for an update to this launch and any future product launches.
For USA visitors - the collection will be distributed by Notions Marketing, you may be able to buy direct from them or you could ask your local craft store to order in direct from Notions Marketing.

CARD #1

Here's What I Did  - Card #1
I trimmed down a piece of patterned paper from the 'Farm Meadow' pad and attached to the front of a 6" x 6" card blank, leaving a slim border around the edge.

Next I trimmed a piece of green card and die cut an arch shape in the centre, and I repeated this with a piece of white making the aperture slightly smaller. The cards were glued on top of each other and run through an embossing folder. From green glitter card and green card I die cut the word 'thanks' and glued them together, offsetting them slightly. On the back side of the card the sentiment was attached to each side of the aperture, then funky foam was glued around the aperture and card then attached to the front of the card.

The vegetable basket was stamped on colouring card, and coloured in using Copic pens. The completed images was then fussy cut out leaving a white border around the edge and added to the front of the card.

To complete the card I added 3 enamel dots to the top left of the card.

CARD #2

Here's What I Did  - Card #2
I covered he front of a 6" x 6" card blank with green card and paper from the Farm Meadow pad leaving a slim border around the edge. Using the same green card I trimmed down a strip of and die cut both sides using a 'dash' die, this was then added to the centre of the card.

Next I die cut a scalloped circle from white card and stamped the vegetables crate onto it, then stamped the crate again onto 'Mask It' paper and cut it out. The mask was placed directly over the stamped image on the circle and ink around it with shades of green. When the ink was die I removed the mask and coloured the crate and vegetables with Copic pens. A die cut inverted scalloped
circle cut from green card was glued over the top.

Funky foam was glued to the back of the scalloped topper and added to the card front. To complete the card sequins were glued around the image and sentiment.
