Craft Consortium - Polar Playtime Release #2

Hi everyone ðŸ’œ

I'm here again to share the 2nd of my cards using the fabulous new collection from Craft Consortium called 'Polar Playtime' (in partnership with Helz Cuppleditch). The collection has just landed on the Craft Consortium website and in good craft retailers. It will also be launched on Create & Craft TV in the New Year (tbc). The products will also be available to buy here in the UK and in the USA. The collection has the most adorable polar bears and penguins enjoying the snow and having fun. The colours are so pretty, in pinks and aqua and green. The collection contains fabulous 3 x A6 stamp sets, a 12" x 12" paper pad, a decoupage set, wooden shapes and embellishments. You have to check it out!!

So today I decided to create a shaker card using the 'BFF' stamp set again. The background paper is from one of Craft Consortium's Grunge pads, on which I randomly stamped a lot of snowflakes. I used Copics to colour the little penguins in with.

I've added direct links to the products below, or you can also go to the Craft Consortium's website using this link here and sign up for an update to this launch and any future product launches.

Here's What I Did
I randomly stamped snowflakes all over a piece of paper from one of Craft Consortium's previously released 'Grunge' paper pads; this was attached to the front of a 6" x 6" card blank leaving a thin border around the edge.

I die cut the globe part of the snow globe several times from white card, then glued and stacked them together to create dimension.  Next I die cut the globe again from a piece of acetate and glued it on  top of the stack, and then glued another die cut globe cut from white card over the top of that.

I die cut the back panel of the snow globe and blended distress oxides onto it, when it was dry I flicked water and diluted white chalk paint all over it to create snowfall. I die cut another back panel, this time from white card, drew 2 icebergs along the top and cut them out and glued them into place on top of the inky sky. A blue Copic pen was added to the very top of the icebergs along with some glitter. The sentiment was stamped with clear versamark ink, heat embossed with white embossing powder.

Sequins were added into the well of the globe and the back panel I created was glued over the top to seal everything inside. The globe base was die cut several times from white card to stack it up, and the topmost layer was cut from silver glittery card. Pink Bakers Twine was wrapped around the base and a die cut pink snowflake was added, along with a white enamel dot.The snowglobe was glued to the font of the card.

I stamped the penguins onto blending card, coloured them in with Copic pens and fussy cut them out. The penguins were attached to the front of the card blank using a mixture of glue and foam pads.

To complete the card I added 3 of the white enamel dots in each corner, and a few die cut stars to the globe.

I Used
Stamps - Polar Playtime - BFF
Paper Pad - Grunge - Light Tones
Embellishments: Polar Playtime - Enamel Dots

For USA visitors - the collection will be distributed by Notions Marketing, you may be able to buy direct from them or you could ask your local craft store to order in direct from Notions Marketing.

Craft Consortium - Polar Playtime Launch #1

Hi everyone ðŸ’œ

T
oday I'm excited to share the 1st of my cards using a fabulous new collection from Craft Consortium called 'Polar Playtime' (in partnership with Helz Cuppleditch). The collection has just landed on the Craft Consortium website and in craft retailer. It will be launched on Create & Craft TV in the New Year (tbc). The products will also be available to buy here in the UK and in the USA. The collection has the most adorable polar bears and penguins enjoying the snow and having fun. You have to  check it out!!

For my card today I have used the 'BFF' stamp set and some of the paper from the pad. I used Copics to colour the images in with.

The links to the products are listed below, or you can also go to the Craft Consortium's website using this link here and sign up for an update to this launch and any future product launches.

Here's What I Did
I covered the front of a 6" x 6" card blank with a piece of paper from the Polar Playtime pad, leaving a slim border around the edge. Next I die cut a piece of blue patterned paper from the pad into an inverted square and stamped the sentiment in the top right corner.

I die cut a piece of white colouring card into an inverted square the same size as the previously cut patterned paper. Next I stamped the penguins towards the bottom of the card, and then drew iceberg shapes above the penguins and cut them out. Blue Copic pen was added around the edge of the icebergs, and then across the centre to create an icy horizon line. The penguins were then colour in with Copic pens. The coloured in scene was then glued over the top of the blue patterned paper to form the sky. The completed scene was added to the die cut mirror mat, and attached to the front of the card blank using funky foam.

To complete the card I added 4 of the enamel dots in each corner, and a splash of glitter to the snowy areas.

I Used

Lili Of The Valley - Christmas Snowman

Hi everyone

Sorry I haven't posted for a while, but I've had a few issues with one of my eyes which made it really difficult to colour images, and craft in general. Although things haven't settled down yet, I think I'm kind of getting used to the problem so thankfully I'm managing to craft/colour again.

Sooo, for today's card I'm sharing a previously released Lili of The Valley digi Christmas stamp from the mini snowmen collection.  This little sweetheart is called Christmas Snowman 4 and I coloured him with Copic pens. The sentiment is from the Christmas Wishes collection.

For your information, here is the link to the LOTV Etsy Store to check out all the digi stampsand the LOTV online store to check out the rest of their goodies.

Here's What I Did
I trimmed down a piece of white card and embossed it with a snowflake embossing folder, then attached it to the front of a 6" x 6" card front leaving a slim border around the edge. Using a sheet of pink card I die cut a fancy Christmas frame, and then glued it flat in the centre of the card front.

I imported the cute little snowman postie digi stamp and sentiment into my graphics program, then resized them to fit my project. The image was printed directly onto colouring card stock and die cut using the same frame die. The image was then coloured in using Copic pens. When the image was finished I added glitter to the snow and star. Funky foam was added to the back of the panel and  attached to the frame's aperture. To finish my card I added a few punched out stars and pink pearls.

Here's What I Used
Digital Stamp: Christmas Snowman 4
Digital Sentiment: Christmas Wishes

Copic Pens: Snowman - B0000, B000, B00, C1, E31, E33, E35, Y02, Y15, YR15 / Hat - C1, C2, C3, C5, C7, RV00, RV02, RV10 / Scarf & Gloves - RV000, RV000, RV02, RV10, BG10, BG11, BG23  / Broom - E31, E33, E35 / Star - Y02, Y15 / Snow - B0000, B000, B00,

Other: 6" x 6" White Card Blank, Make It Color Blending Card, Coloured Glitter Card, Pink Card,  Snowflake Lattice Embossing Folder (Creative Expressions), Deck The Halls - Fabulous Frame Dies (Moonstone/Hunkydory), Glitter, Star Punch, Funky Foam, Glue, Double Sided Tape

Hi everyone

So today I'm sharing a sneaky peak of one of four fabulous new Lili Of The Valley (LOTV) vintage boy/male digi stamps being launched in their Etsy store.

So for my card today, I've used 'To The Top' which I coloured with Copic pens, and one of the sentiments from the previously released 'Happy Birthday Pots' collection. I hope you like it. x

A scallop edged rectangle was die cut from green card and then an oval was die cut out of the centre to create an aperture. Using the same oval frame and a slightly larger one I die cut a frame from kraft card and stuck this around the aperture window. Funky foam was added to the back of the rectangle to raise it up, ready to be attached to the card front.

I imported the lovely boy hiker digi stamp  and sentiment into my graphics program, then resized them to fit the my project. The image was then printed directly onto colouring card stock and trimmed down. The image was coloured in using Copic pens.apart from the sky. The image was printed out again onto white copier paper and fussy cut out, this placed over the top of the coloured in images using a non-permanent tape runner. Whilst the boy image was covered, clouds were added using blue distress ink and a cloud mask. When the ink was dry the picture was lined up with the aperture and glued into place and then everything was attached to the front of the card.

To finish my card I added 3 fishtale banners and a few gems.

Hi everyone

I'm here with a cutie two-some digi stamp from the new Christmas/Winter collection by Lili Of The Valley (LOTV) which in available in their Etsy store. Aren't these two just the sweetest things....EVER! For my card today I created a bauble card using 'Snowy Chums', which I coloured up using my Copic pens. Here's What I Did
I trimmed down a piece of gorgeous blue paper from my stash, and added it to the front of a 6" x 6" white card blank, leaving a slim border around the edge.

I die cut the bauble frame 3 times from strong white card, then stacked and glued them together to create depth. The back section of the globe was die cut and then 4 different distress inks were blended onto it. When the inks were dry, watered down white and black chalk paint was flicked over the top to look like drops of snow. Dots were also added using a white pen.

I imported the cute digi stamp into my graphics program, then resized it so it would fit inside the bauble. The image was then printed directly onto colouring card stock, and die cut using the back panel of the bauble it ensure it was the correct size. The image was coloured in using Copic pens apart from the sky, then fussy cut out around the characters.  Glitter was added to the snow floor. The seal and penguin section was glued on top of the background sky and then the white bauble frame was added over the top. To complete the bauble, the top section (cap) was die cut from blue glitter card then glued into place along with a ribbon. Snowflakes were die cut from white card and glued around the characters. Funky foam was added to the back of the bauble and then added to the centre of the card front.

To finish my card I added blue gems to the top and bottom of the card.

Craft Consortium - Over the hedge #4

Hi everyone ðŸ’œ
Today I'm sharing one of my Craft Consortium cards with you using the new 'Over The Hedge' stamps, which launched both here in the UK and USA, on 10th September. The lovely collection contains fabulous stamps, a 12" x 12" paper pad and embellishments all depicting hedgehogs, owls and foxes by the talented artist Melissa Lowry . The stamp sets contain 2 of the same animals but in different poses and they are approx 2¾"-2½" tall; other elements are approx ½"-3" tall (1.5cm - 9cm).

For my card today I decided to use Henry The Fox again...because I just think he's gorgeous and I love him. I created a cosmic sky in the background and coloured Henry with Copic pens. Hope you like him. x

The links to the new products will be added after the launch, or you can also go to the Craft Consortium's website using this link here and sign up for an update to this launch and any future product launches.

Here's What I Did
I covered the front of a white 6" x 6" card blank with thin black card. To create the cosmic sky topper, I die cut a circle from white card and blended distress inks all over it, then when it was dry I flicked water onto it to create watermarks. Using watered down white paint I flicked it onto the surface of the cosmic sky but from much further away to create smaller dots.

Using a shooting star die I cut int into the top of the circle. A fancy circle was die cut from a piece of silver glittery card, and the cosmic sky circle was glued on top. Funky foam was glued to the back of the circle and then onto the card front.

I stamped the fox onto blending card and coloured him in with Copic pens. The fox was then fussy cut out and added to the centre of the cosmic sky with foam pads.

To complete the card I added lots of die cut silver stars around the fox, plus gems to the bottom and top of the card.

I Used
Stamps: Over The Hedge - Henry The Fox (Create & Craft)
The rest of the collection can also be found on Craft Consortium, Create & Craft and other good craft stores.

Lili Of the Valley - Christmas Launch #2

Hi everyone

I have another new Christmas/Winter digi stamp from the new collection from  Lili Of The Valley (LOTV) which launched on this week in their Etsy store.  The new stamps include cute mice, elephants and sentiments, they're gorgeous. :)

So today I made a snowglobe card, and I used one of the cute elephant digi stamps called 'Star Gazing' and a sentiments from the 'Christmas Wishes' collection. I coloured the stamp using my Copic pens and added a starry sky using distress oxides. I hope you like it. x

For your information, here is the link to the LOTV Etsy Store to check out all the digi stampsand the LOTV online store to check out the rest of their goodies.

Here's What I Did
I trimmed down a piece of pretty Christmas paper, and added it to the front of a 6" x 6" white card blank, leaving a slim border around the edge.

I die cut the snowglobe circle frame 4 times from strong white card, then stacked and glued them together to create depth. The back section of the globe was die cut and then 4 different distress oxides were blended onto it. When the inks were dry, white chalk paint was flicked over the top to look like snowflakes.

I imported the sweet elephant digi stamp into my graphics program, then resized so it would fit inside the globe. The image was then printed directly onto colouring card stock, and die cut using the back panel of the globe. The image was coloured in using Copic pens apart from the sky, then fussy cut out around the tree line and elephant.  Glitter was added to the snow floor. The elephant and tree section was glued on top of the starry sky and then the white snowglobe frame was added over the top. To complete the snowglobe, the bottom section was die cut from blue glitter card then glued into place. Funky foam was added to the back of the globe, and then added to the centre of the card front.

To finish my card I added a white glittery star to the sky and a printed out sentiment which I die cut into a banner.

Here's What I Used
Digital Stamp: Star Gazing
Digital Sentiment Stamp: Christmas Wishes

Copic Pens: Elephant - C0, C1, C2, C3, C5, R30 / Hat - R27, R29, R59, B0000, B000 / Snow - B0000, B000 / Trees - YG03, YG17, YG67

Other: 6" x 6" White  Card Blank, 'Make It Colour' Blending Card, Strong White Card, Blue Glitter Card (Crafter's Companion), Christmas Critters Paper Pad (The Paper Boutique), Globe & Ornament Shaker Card Die Set (Honey Bee Stamps), Starry Skies Dies (Lawn Fawn), Banners Die (MFT), Distress Oxides (Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean, Chipped Sapphire, Black Soot), White Glitter Card, Glitter, Funky Foam, Foam Pads, Glue, Double Sided Tape, White Chalk Paint (Cosmic Shimmer)

Craft Consortium - Over The Hedge #3

Hi everyone ðŸ’œ
Woo Hoo!! The fabulous new collection from Craft Consortium 'Over The Hedge' (in partnership with Melissa Lowry) launches today on Create & Craft TV today time on Tuesday 10th September @ 2pm (UK time), then it's repeated at 9pm and on Craft Extra. The products can also be purchased in crafts shop both here in the UK and in the USA. The collection contains hedgehogs, owls and foxes and lots of floral accessories. The collection contains 3 fabulous stamp sets, a 12" x 12" paper pad and embellishments. The stamp sets contain 2 of the same animals but in different poses and they are approx 2¾"-2½" tall; other elements are approx ½"-3" tall (1.5cm - 9cm).

For my card today I used Harry The Hedgehog which I coloured with Copics. I just loved the recling hedgehog and had this vision of him doing somersaults, so I created a slider card (my first ever). :)

The links to the new products will be added after the launch, or you can also go to the Craft Consortium's website using this link here and sign up for an update to this launch and any future product launches.

Here's What I Did
I covered the front of a 5¾" x 8" card blank (cut down from a larger card), with a piece of brown card, leaving a slim border around the edge. Next I die cut a piece of white card into a rectangle, then I created a background sky using blue ink and a cloud stencil. I stamped a sentiment from the set straight onto the clouds. I die cut another rectangle from green card for the grass area. From brown card I then die cut a curved fence to go across my card, then using this as a guide I added the same curve effect onto the green card.

To create the slider section, I used a small sentiment die with a rounded ends and just extended to fit my project. I added lots of foam tape on the back of the panel especially around the slider aperture but ensuing I did not obscure the sliding action.

I stamped the hedgehogs onto my blending card with a black ink then fussy cut them out. To make the slider - I stuck a foam pad on one side of a UK 1p coin and attached the sliding hedgehog to it, then tucked the 1p it into the slider aperture, and added the upright hedgehog to the end of the slider using foam pads. I added the completed panel to the card front.

To complete the card I added lots of a tiny die cut flower to the grass.

I Used
Stamps: Over The Hedge - Harry The Hedgehog

Hi everyone

So for my card today, I've used one of the mice images called 'Squeaky Hat' which I coloured with Copic pens, and one of the sentiments from the 'Christmas Wishes' collection. I hope you like it. x

For your information, here is the link to the LOTV Etsy Store to check out all the digi stampsand the LOTV online store to check out the rest of their goodies.

Here's What I Did
I trimmed down a piece of tartan patterned paper, and added it to the front of my 6" x 6" white card blank leaving a border around the edge.

A rounded square was die cut from white card, and distress oxide was applied and then blended to create a background sky. When dry white paint was flick onto the the surface to create stars.

I imported the cute mice digi stamp  and sentiment into my graphics program, then resized them to fit my project. The image was then printed directly onto colouring card stock and die cut into a rounded square. The image was coloured in using Copic pens.apart from the sky, then fussy cut out along the tree line.  Glitter was added to the fur trim and ball of the hat.

The background and the coloured image was then added to a die cut fancy square, cut from dark red card. Funky foam was added to the back of the topper and then added to the card front. I printed out sentiment, then die cut it into a banner and added it to the card front with foam pads.

To finish my card I added white die cut stars to the sky.
