Evening everyonee
I was asked so many times on Facebook how I created the Swiss Cheese mouse card that I decided to write up a tutorial for this, and the rest of the cards. I hope this will help.
So enjoy :)
WHAT I DID
Cut a piece of yellow card to 5¾” x 5¾” and add it to a 6”
x 6” kraft card blank, leaving a border all the way round.
Next cut a piece of kraft card 5½” x 5½”, and stamp the
wheat on the left hand side using black memento ink. Stamp the wheat sheaf that
is bowed onto Mask It paper and cut it out (alternatively you can use the
sticky edge of a post-it note). Place the mask over the top of the sheaf previously
stamped on the kraft card, then stamp the bottom section of the mouse and
removed the mask. Colour everything with pencils.
Using the coordinating stencil add clouds to the kraft
card by inking through the cloud aperture using white ink, avoiding the mouse
and wheat. When everything is dry added a little white and blue pencil to
define the clouds. Add a thin line of crystal glitter around the edges of the
clouds.
Stamp the head of the mouse twice onto white card and
coloured with pencils, then cut out. Using foam pads attach one of the heads to
the wheat sheaf above where the mouse body has been stamped earlier.
Hand cut a fishtail banner from kraft card, and stamp a
sentiment onto it. Cut a slightly larger banner from yellow card and glued them
both together.
To complete the card attached the banners to the card
front using foam tape, and add the mouse head and a yellow enamel dot.

Yellow Card

Foam Pads
Kraft Card
Crystal Glitter
Enamel Dot
White Brilliance Ink
Black Memento Ink
WHAT I DID
Add orange card 4¾” x 6¾” to the
front of a 7” x 5” white card blank leaving a thin white border all the way
round.
Cut a piece of strong white card
to 4½” x 6½”. Die cut different sized circles into it,
randomly placing them around the
card.
Create outer frames for the apertures
- using a circle die slightly larger than the apertures, then die cut the centre
from them each of them using the same circle die as the one used on the white
card. Glue the frames to the white card along with a few of the small spare centres
from the circles.
Stamp the sentiment onto the
white card and attached it to the card front using foam tape. Make sure you use
plenty of foam tape around the apertures to support them.
Stamp all the mice onto colouring
card, then colour them in with your alcohol pens and carefully cut them out. Glue
the mice inside the large circles. Attached
the mouse head using foam tape, but leaving its paws hanging outside of the
circle.

WHAT I DID
Cut a piece of patterned
paper 6½” x 6½” and round off the corners on one side, and attach it to a 7”
× 7” white scalloped card blank, making sure there is a slim
border all the way round.
Cut a piece of inking card to 5¾”x
5¾” and secure the coordinating mask in the centre
of it. Ink through and around the mask using distressing ink to create a border.
When dry attach it to a piece of gold mirror card cut to 6” x 6”, and then add
to the card base.
Trim a piece of inking card to 4”
x 4”. Using distressing inks create a background leaving the centre lighter
than the edges; splash water onto the surface and blot off with kitchen towel. When
dry use black ink and the mask to add grass and a few wheat sheaves. Stamp the sentiment
in the top right corner. Mount the completed scene onto a piece of die cut gold
mirror card 4½” x 4½”.
Add the completed topper to the
card front using foam tape.

WHAT I DID
Add patterned paper to the front
of a 5” x 5” top fold white scalloped card blank, leaving a thin white border
all the way round.
Stamp the wheat sheaves, flower
and mouse once onto a masking sheet, then stamp the grass twice, and cut
everything out.
Die cut a circle from colouring
card and stamp the grass twice, leaving a gap in the centre. Join up the
grasses using a black fineliner pen and place the masks on top. Stamp the
flower in the centre of the grasses and add its mask. Stamp the mouse so that its
paws are placed over the flower stem, and then add the mask over this as well. To
complete the scene stamp the wheat on the left hand side of the circle and cover
this with the mask.
Leaving all the masks in place
add the clouds using Tumbled Glass distressing ink and a cloud template. Build
up the ink slowly leaving lots of white areas to create depth.
Remove all the masks, and colour
the images using alcohol pens.
Stamp the sentiment in the bottom
right hand corner of the card base using black Memento ink.
Mount the completed topper onto a
fancy circle die cut from brown card, and then attach it to the card front
using foam tape.
Create 3 small fish tail banners
from brown card, kraft card and patterned paper, and layer them up. Add the
banners to the top of the card along with a die cut heart.
