Little Miss Muffet Challenge Card (#132) - Graffiti Dream

Hi everyone

Well it's Monday and my turn to share my Little Miss Muffet (LMMS) Challenge creation with you. The super easy theme for Challenge #132 is 'Anything Goes' and you don't even have to use a Little Miss Muffet Stamp to join in either. So what are you waiting for!!

So, considering I'm usually a cuties kind of gal I absolutely loved colouring this graffiti word in, I think it was because it was so easy to do - no shading just flat colour. The digi stamp is called 'Graffiti Dream' and there's quite a few available in the LMMS store and well worth checking out. I'll definitely be creating a few more cards using them, they're so versatile you can pretty them up or grunge them down, and so great for male cards.

http://www.littlemissmuffetstamps.com/

Here's What I Did
Firstly I created the scene in CraftArtist2 using the digi stamp 'Dream' and a Serif digi kit that included paint splats, drips and circles. The picture I created could easily be remade using any graphics program, even Word. Next I printed the whole scene directly onto colouring cardstock and coloured the letters in with Copic pens to match the splats, then added a thick black outline.

To add texture and realism I used a brick wall embossing folder, then to make it pop even further the completed picture was matted onto black card before being attached to the card base.

To finish off I added white pen for highlights and a small amount of clear glitter on the stars.

Here's What I Used
Digi Stamp: 'Graffiti Dream' - available here
Paper/Cardstock (CS): Black CS, Neenah Colouring CS, 7" x 7" card Base
Copics: RV06, V05, Y08, Y35, B05, YG05, 100
Other: CraftArtist 2, Plant Pop Digi Kit, Texture 'Brick Wall' Embossing Folder, Wink Of Stella Clear Glitter Pen, White Pen

So come on and join in with our fab challenge (#132) over at Little Miss Muffet. Remember our theme this month is 'Anything Goes' so it's really easy.

Little Miss Muffet Inspiration For You (Feb 22nd)

Hi there :)

How are you, well I hope? Well, I'm here to share a Little Miss Muffet goodness with you - and I wanted to create something fresh and zesty to brighten up your day, so for my card I've used the stamp 'Polka Dot Pals - Danielle'. She's now available as a rubber stamp, and you can get her here.

I decided to keep my card nice and simple, and focus on the image which I coloured with watercolour marker pens and then added pencil work over the top. I wanted to create something in nice fresh colours so I went with yellow and green.

http://www.littlemissmuffetstamps.com/

Here's What I Did
Firstly I matted my 5" x 5" card base with a piece of yellow patterned paper. I then cut a piece of complimentary paper to size and die cut the edges and added this to the card base.

Next I printed my image directly onto my watercolour card stock and coloured it with watercolour Aqua markers, to add extra definition I then used pencils  The finish image was die cut into a circle apart from her feet so they would hang, and then attached to a die cut flower shape and added to the card base using foam tape.

To finish off I added large pearls, a gem and a few punched out flowers.

Here's What I Used
Digi Stamp: 'PDP Danielle - available here
Paper/Cardstock (CS): Watercolour CS, LOTV 'One Birdie Lane' Paper Pad, Yellow CS, 5" x 5" Card Base

Well it's Saturday and Sweet Stampintime - so I'm here to share my Design Team card with you. Our theme this week is 'Glitter & Sparkle'  So come grab your stamp and glitter, and make card or project with us.

For my card this week's card I'm sharing a Christmas card I made for my daughter and boyfriend (their first couple's card....aw!). As soon as I spotted this Stamping Bella stamp I thought of them...as penguins mate for life, plus it's soooo cute. Using the patterned paper as inspiration I decided to go with lilac for the main colour. I coloured the image with Copic pens, and added a die cut poinsettia and a fancy border frame to finish it off.

Here's What I Did
To create my card I matted a 7" x 7" white scalloped card base with lilac card and pretty patterned paper. Next I stamped my image onto colouring card stock and coloured it with Copic pens and die cut it into a square. The finished image was matted and layered onto co-ordinating card and attached to a die cut border which I attached from behind to create a frame, this was then added to the card base using foam tape.

To finish off I used glitter on the trees and snow, and added a die cut poinsettia and a few leaves.

Here's What I Used
Stamp: Stamping Bella 'Warm & Fussy Penguins'
Copics: Penguins - C0, C1, C3, C5, C7, Y11, Y17, B0000 / Trees - YG01, YG03, YG17, YG67, G28 / Scarf - BV02, BV04, BV13, BV17, BV31 /  Heart - R14, R27 / Snow - B0000, C0 / Sky -B0000, R0000, R00 /Penguin Hats - BV04, BV31

Little Miss Muffet Challenge Card (#131) - PDP Winona

Heeeellllloooo everyone

Well it's Monday and my turn to share my Little Miss Muffet card with you. I just had to use this little sweetheart holding her little toy monkey. I just think she's so cute, and I knew I had to use a bright and cheery colour to compliment her. She's called 'Polka Dot Pals - Winona' and she is also part of the new digi stamp release from Little Miss Muffet Stamps (LMMS).

So here's my Design Team card for our current Challenge #131. I wanted to keep my card CAS so as to focus on this gorgeous little girl and her cute monkey, so I intentionally only used a few embellishments but made sure I used co-ordinating papers and card stock.

http://www.littlemissmuffetstamps.com/

Here's What I Did
Firstly I covered my card with 2 complimentary patterned papers and die cut the word 'Friend' on a strip of co-ordinating cardstock and attached this over the join to hide it.

Next I printed the cute Winona image and her monkey directly onto some colouring cardstock and coloured them both with Copic pens. The image was fussy cut out and attached them to the front of the card using foam tape.

To finish off I die cut a tiny fish tail banner and a few hearts and glued them to the card base with tiny pearls on top.

Here's What I Used
Digi Stamp: New Release image 'Polka Dot Pals-Winona' - available here
Paper/Cardstock (CS): Orange CS, Neenah Colouring CS, LOTV 'Country Meadow' Paper Pad,
Copics: Skin - E0000, E000, E00, E11, R20, R30 / Hair - C0, C1, C3, C5, C7, 100 / Dress & Hair Slide - YR04, YR31, Y17, Y38 / Monkey - E21, E33, E35, E47, E51, E53

Litle Miss Muffet Stamps (LMMS) - Card To Inspire You

Heeeellllloooo everyone

Well it's Monday and my turn to share my Little Miss Muffet creation with you. I have to admit I couldn't wait to use this little sweetheart, she's called 'Val's Butterfly' and she's part of the new release, as is the sentiment. Both stamps are available in a digi format so you can play straight away...yay!!. I just think she's sooo sweet as are all the new characters, so make sure you check out the fabulous new releases, and the rest of the store of course....erm, I'm only saying :)

http://www.littlemissmuffetstamps.com/New-Stuff_c_80.html

So for my card I coloured my little elephant with Copic pens and added her to my heart frame card. I just knew I wanted her grey but with a pinky background and to also keep it CAS. I hope this inspires you to get colouring and have a play :).

http://www.littlemissmuffetstamps.com/

Here's What I Did
Firstly I cut my patterned paper to size and die cut a heart in the centre; I glued a piece of contrasting paper behind the aperture and added this to my card base. Next I cut a heart pink card using the same heart die as before, and cut another one inside it, this was glued around the front of the aperture to form my frame.

Next I printed my image and sentiment directly onto some colouring cardstock and coloured them both with Copic pens. I fussy cut out the elephant (which was really easy to do) and attached it in front of the frame using foam tape. The fish tail banner was hand cut and mounted onto a piece of pink card and tucked behind the elephant.

To finish off I used clear glitter on the hearts and 'Tine' wording, and glued a few pale pink sequins in the aperture.

Here's What I Used
Digi Stamp: 'Val's Butterfly'- available here and the 'Val N' Tine' sentiment available here,
Paper/Cardstock (CS): Pink CS, Neenah Colouring CS, Trimcraft 'What A Hoot' Paper Pad, LOTV 'Country Meadow' Paper Pad
Copics: Elephant Skin: C0, C1, C2, C3, C5 / Hearts, Bow, Butterfly Wings, Mouth, Wording: RV10, RV21, R34 / Toe Nails - W1, W2
Dies: Sizzix 'Hearts'

Eek...Guess What???

I have 2 pieces of great news....

...well, my 1st piece of news is that I applied for a place on Little Miss Muffet (LMMS) Design Team position. and guess what?  Yep, I was accepted....whoop, whoop!! How excited am I (big grin on my face atm)  :)
And my 2nd piece of news is that I'm excited to show off one of the new LMMS releases for Valentines.

The one I decided to use is called 'Celeste Amberglow Stuffed with Love' and it's available here, There's quite a few new releases in the Little Miss Muffet store, including those cute little elephants above. To find all the fabulous new releases simply select the 'New Stuff' in the Categories list, in fact why not check out the whole store - there's lots of gorgeous rubber and digital stamps available.

So without further ado here's my first card for LMMS. Drum roll please......

Here's What I Did
I created a tent fold card base by cutting a section off an A3 sheet of card and folding it in half (this can be done using an A4 sheet to create a smaller card), and I matted it with bright pink card. Next I printed my image directly onto my colouring cardstock and cut it down to size, this was then coloured with Copic pens. Using a curved die I cut a piece of patterned paper at an angle to fit the top portion of the card and glued it into place. Next I wrapped a piece of Bakers twine around the top and attached the whole thing to the card base, and added a die cut flower and leaves.

To finish off I used Wink Of Stella clear glitter on the stitched heart, and glued a few die cut hearts around the image.

Here's What I Used
Digi Stamp: 'Celeste Amberglow Stuffed with Love' and it's available here,
Paper/Cardstock (CS): Pink CS, Neenah Colouring CS, LOTV 'Country Meadow' Paper Pad
Copics: Skin: E000, E00, E11,  R20 / Top, Ribbon & Patches - RV10, RV13, RV14, R35 / Hair - YR0000, YR000, YR00, E13, E59, E99 /Jeans - B000, B05, B12, B97 / Stitched Heart & Boots - E33, E37, E51, E53 / Ground - W0, W01, W02 / Small Hearts - R14, R27, R59
Dies: MFT Die-namics 'Blueprint 14' and 'Flowers & Leaves Trio', Simon Says Stamp 'A2 Card Curved Edge'
Other: Fineliner Pens, Baker's Twine, Foam Tape, Wink Of Stella Clear Glitter pen

Sugar Nellie - 'You Brought Me Love'

- Hello Sugar Fans -

Good morning everyone!
So for my Design Team card this cold Wednesday I decided to use one of the gorgeous Gorjuss girl stamps again (because I love them lol); this one is called 'You Brought Me Love' and she's available as a mini stamp. These stamps are so versatile, because you can really pretty them up or make them look vintage and shabby. So for my card I decided I wanted her to have a shabby chic looking or maybe it's more gothy....mmm, you decide. To achieve the look I used distressing ink pads and pens on watercolour card.
This stamp and lots of other Gorjuss stamps are available to buy from Funkykits.

http://www.funkykits.co.uk/catalog/index.php?cPath=91_148

Here's What I Did
Firstly I matted a shaped card base with black card stock and beautiful patterned paper. The image was stamped directly onto some watercolour card and die cut it into a circle.  Next I created my background, and I purposely made it blotchy by leaving pools of water on the surface of the paper, this produced a watermark effect. I coloured the main image in with a selection of distressing ink pads and pens keeping to a vintage colour palette.

The completed image was then mounted onto a die cut black circle, and added to the card base using foam tape. To finish off I added a few punched out butterflies.
Here's What I Used
Stamp: 'You Brought Me Love' available from Sugar Nellie at Funkykits
Paper/Cardstock (CS): Craftwork Cards Shaped Card Base, Black CS, Watercolour CS, Trimcraft 'Pursuit Of Happiness' Paper Pad
Distressing Inks/Pens: Skin: Tattered Rose, Worn Lipstick / Hair - Scattered Straw, Pumice Stone, Black / Dress, Bows & Tights - S[pun Sugar, Victorian Velvet / Petticoat & Tights - Antique Linen, Vintage Photo / Background - Old Paper, Forest Moss
Dies: Tattered Lace 'Pearl' Circle, Crealies 'XXL Stitched Circle', Go Kreate 'Frilly #10'
Other: Butterfly Punch, White Pen

Don't forget if you want to see more Sugar Nellie creations made my lovely teamies why not drop by the Sugar Nellie blog or join our Facebook page (just search for the Official Sugar Nellie Group).

Why not join in with the challenge over at the Sugar Bowl - there's still  time to enter with a great prize up for grabs. The theme this month is 'Anything Goes' so it's really easy. DON'T FORGET TO ENTER THE CHALLENGE YOU MUST USE a Sugar Nellie stamp.
