Lili Of The Valley - Christmas 2020 Launch #3

 Hi everyone

Today I'm sharing the 3rd of my cards using a digi stamp from the brand new Lili Of The Valley Christmas 2020 collection, which launched last week. All the new digi stamp are now available in the LOTV Etsy shop.

For my card today, I used 'All Of Us' and 'Christmas Circular Sentiment' (snowflake version).  To colour the image I used my Copic pens with some new Super Smooth colouring card that LOTV have also launched. As previously mentioned the Christmas 2020 collection includes lot of santas, penguins and sentiments in different designs (the collection includes 60 sentiments). (This has now been added to my Etsy store)

FYI, if you struggle using digi stamps or haven't got a suitable software package on your computer then why not check out my 'Tutorials' page on this blog or in the 'Files' section on the 'We Love Lili Of The Valley' facebook group (if you are a member). I have written 4 pictorial tutorials on how to download a free software program called WPS Office and then how to use it with digi stamps.

For your information, here is the link to the LOTV Etsy Store to check out all the digi stampsand the LOTV online store to check out the rest of their goodies.

Here's What I Did
First I added a piece of pretty snowflake paper to the front of a 6" x 6" white card blank, leaving a slim border around the edge. Using white card I die cut a pretty detailed square and glued it flat to the centre of the card front.

Using my graphics software I imported the cute snow family along with a sentiment and resized them both to fit my project. The image was printed directly onto tan colouring paper. As the paper I was using is only thin (like copier paper), I trimmed down the  image and stuck it onto card and then die cut it into a circle.

The image was coloured in using Prismacolour pencils and when it was finished it was glued to a white die cut fancy mat. I added snow to the background by adding white pencil dots and larger dots using a white pen. Funky foam was glued to the back of the topper and attached to the centre of the card front on top of the white square.

To finish the card I add a few pearls to the snowflakes and in the corners of the square.

Here's What I Used
Digital Stamp: All Of Us
Sentiment: Christmas Circular Sentiment (snowflake version).

Prismacolor Pencils
Snow Family - White, Lilac, Violet, Parma Violet, Light Cerulean Blue, Canary Yellow, Pale Vermilion, 50% Cool Grey, 70% Cool Grey, Black, Burnt Ochre, Sienna Brown / Hats, Scarves, Gloves & Trimmings - White, Cloud Blue, Light Cerulean Blue, True Blue, Peacock Blue, Jade Green, Light Aqua, Aquamarine, Blush Pink, Pink, Carmine Red, Poppy Red, Crimson Red, Chartreuse, Olive Green, 50% Cool Grey, 70% Cool Grey, Black

Other: 6" x 6" White Scalloped Card Blank, Toned Pad (Strathmore), Black Hybrid Ink, Christmas Paper (from stash), White Card, Circle Die (Crealies), Doily Circle Dies (Tattered Lace), Decorative Background Die (Sweet Dixie), White Pen, Glue, Double Sided Tape, Funky Foam, Pearls

Lili Of The Valley - Christmas Collection 2020 #1

 Hi there everyone

I hope you're all keeping safe and well. Well I'm doing my best to stay safe while still going shopping and meeting up with friends. It's so hard to keep the balance between being cautious and being in a state of paranoia isn't it. But it's the new 'normal' so I guess we all just have to do what we need to do, I just everyone else would do it too.

Anyhow onto something more uplifting, I'm sharing one of my cards using a new digi stamp from the new Lili Of The Valley Christmas 2020 collection which launches tomorrow (14th August). For my card today I used 'Penguin Trio 2' and 'Christmas Circular Sentiment' (plain version).  To colour the image I used my Copic pens with some new Super Smooth colouring card that LOTV are also launching. Lil Of The Valley - 'Old but New' Stamps #2

Hi everyone

I hope you're all keeping safe and healthy, and now starting to venture out. I've had some strange experiences over the past week, which really shouldn't be weird but just feel that way eg having my hair cut and coloured for the first time in 4 months, travelling in a car with my friend (be it with a face mask on) and going out for lunch. I have to admit to feeling pretty vulnerable and scared to start with, but felt happy that I did it. Anyhow make sure you continue to stay safe and healthy. x

Right, onto my card for today. The one I'm sharing with you was made using 2 previous launched digi stamps from Lili Of the Valley (LOTV). Both stamps were launched about a month ago and are available in their Etsy shop (link below). Today's card is a CAS one using the 'You Are My Sunshine' stamp, which I coloured with Prismacolor Pencils (no blender).

Here is the link to the LOTV Etsy Store to check out all the digi stamps and products availableand the LOTV online store to check out the rest of their goodies.

Here's What I Did
To start with I totally covered the front of a 6" x 6" card blank with some beige dotty paper.

Using my graphics software I imported the cute little bear image and a sentiment into it, then resized it to fit my project. The image was printed directly onto colouring cardstock and die cut into a square. The image was coloured in using pencils and mounted onto a brown scalloped die cut mat; funky foam was glued to the back and attached to the centre of the card front. White pen was added to the centres of the flowers.

To finish off I added a few gems to the bottom of the card.

Here's What I Used
Digital Stamp: You Are My Sunshine

Prismacolour Pencils:
Bear - White, Cream , Burnt Ochre, Sienna Brown, Terracotta, Light Umber, Crimson Lake / Flowers - White, Lemon Yellow, Canary Yellow, Spanish orange, Pale Vermilion, Goldenrod, Orange, Crimson Red / Stems & Leaves - White, Chartreuse, Lime Peel, Dark Green / Butterfly - White, Lemon Yellow, Yellowed orange, Pale Vermilion

Other: 6" x 6" White Card Blank, Desert Storm Neenah Card, 'Lullaby' Paper Pad (Lemoncraft), Stitched Collection - Scalloped Square Dies (Creative Expressions), Brown Card, Gems, Glue, Double Sided Tape, Funky Foam

Using my graphics software I imported the sweet little 'C' image and resized it to fit my project. The image was printed directly onto colouring cardstock and die cut into a circle. The image was coloured in using Copic pens and mounted onto a white scalloped die cut circle. A die cut inverted scalloped circle cut from teal card was glued over the top of the image. Funky foam was glued to the back of the topper and attached to the centre of the card front. To finish the card I added punched out butterflies and a few pearls.
