Craft Consortium - Polar Playtime #5

Hi guys ðŸ’œ
I'm back again to share another of my cards using the 'Polar Playtime' collection from Craft Consortium. I will be sharing the last of my samples from this collection in the next day or so, then I will be sharing some new goodies with you. The collection is available on the Craft Consortium website and in good craft retailers both here in the UK and in the USA. As previously mentioned the collection has the most adorable polar bears and penguins and contains fabulous 3 x A6 stamp sets, a 12" x 12" & 6" x 6" paper pad, a decoupage set, wooden shapes and embellishments. Definitely check it out!

So today I have made a bauble card using the seal pup from the 'Make A Splash' stamp set, and the snowflake stamp from the 'BFF' set to create the paper. I used distress inks to create the background sky inside the bauble.

I've added direct links to the products below, or you can also go direct to the Craft Consortium's website using this link here, and sign up for updates on any future product launches.

Here's What I Did
I die cut a piece of pale blue card and stamped lots of snowflakes all over it, then added a little white pencil to highlight them. The card was then attached to the front of a 5" x 7" card blank, leaving a thin border around the edge.

I die cut the bauble outer frame 3 times from strong white card, then stacked and glued them together to create depth. The back panel of the bauble was then die cut and 4 different distress inks were blended onto it. When the inks were dry, watered down white and black chalk paint was flicked over the top to give the illusion of snow. Dots were also added using a white pen.

The seal was stamped onto masking paper and fussy cut out. Next the seal image was stamped onto colouring card stock, and covered with the mask. The sign post was stamped over the top of the seal and the mask was removed. I used a black fineliner to create a horizon line either side of the seal.

The scene was then die cut out using the bauble back panel. Everything was then coloured in using Copic pens, and everything above the horizon line was fussy cut out. Glitter was added to the snow floor and the sign.

To Complete The Bauble
The seal and sign post section was glued to the back panel of the bauble (sky), then die cut white snowflakes were glued around the characters. The bauble cap was die cut from silver glitter card and glued into place along with a white ribbon.  Funky foam was added to the back of the bauble and then added to the top section of the card front together with a slim piece of the silver card to create the string.

To finish my card I added a die cut sentiment along with a few blue and white enamel dots.

I Used
Stamps - Polar Playtime - Make A Splash and BFF
Embellishments - Polar Playtime Enamel Dots

Lili Of The Valley - Love Launch #3

Hi there ❤️

Today I have another fabulous digi stamp from the new 'Love' collection by Lili Of The Valley (LOTV) which was launched last week in their Etsy store. The 'love' collection includes cute bunnies and loving couples. For today's card I've used one of the couple stamps and created a CAS card and kept the colours very simple. The stamp is called Showered With Love and I used Copic pens to coloured with. I hope you like it. x

For your information, here is the link to the LOTV Etsy Store to check out all the digi stamps, and the LOTV online store to check out the rest of their goodies.

Here's What I Did
I trimmed down a piece of monochrome patterned paper and added it to the front of the card blank, leaving a border around the edge.

I imported the couple digi stamp into my graphics program and added a computer generated sentiment, then resized it to fit my project  The image was then printed directly onto colouring card stock and die cut into an rectangle. I coloured the image in using Copic pens and matted it onto red card. The topper was mounted onto funky foam to add a little height, and then adhered to the card front. To finish my card I added a few gems and an enamel dot.

Here's What I Used
Digital Stamp: Showered With Love

Craft Consortium - Polar Playtime #4

Hi guys 💜
I'm back again to share my 4th card using the 'Polar Playtime' (in partnership with Helz Cuppleditch) from Craft Consortium. The collection is available on the Craft Consortium website and in good craft retailers both here in the UK and in the USA. It will also be launched on Create & Craft TV in the New Year (tbc). As previously mentioned the collection has the most adorable polar bears and penguins and contains fabulous 3 x A6 stamp sets, a 12" x 12" & 6" x 6" paper pad, a decoupage set, wooden shapes and embellishments. Definitely check it out!

For today's card I have used the 'Make A Splash' stamp set with the cute seal and little fishes to create an icy scene. I used distress ink for the background sky, and pencils to create the scene.

I've added direct links to the products below, or you can also go direct to the Craft Consortium's website using this link here, and sign up for updates on any future product launches.

Here's What I Did
I trimmed down a piece of teal card, which I embossed using an embossing folder. The card was then attached to the front of a 6" x 6" card blank, leaving a thin border around the edge.

I die cut 2 pieces of card into a rounded square - one from Desert Storm Neenah for the foreground and one from strong white card for the background.

Background
Using the white square I blended several distress inks together onto it to create a night sky. I added splash of water all over the card and dabbed off the excess, I followed this with splashes of clear glitter pen. When everything was complete dry, I splashed watered down white paint over the top to create stars.

I die cut a circle from white card and loosely added diluted yellow and blue distress ink to create a moon - I used Picket Fence, Squeezed Lemonade and Tumbled Glass.

Foreground
I lightly drew a horizontal line across the desert storm neenah die cut panel, then stamped the fishes in the lower section of the panel. The fish were then stamped again onto masking paper and fussy cut out, each fish mask was then placed over the top of the stamped fish to protect it. The polar bear and iceberg were then stamped over the top of the fishes approx half way down.

I stamped the iceberg and bear onto masking paper and fussy cut them out, and covered them on the panel as well. On the panel I lightly drew some icebergs in the background; whilst everything was protected I coloured the icebergs and the water with white distress ink to give it a base coat, then added pencil work over the top. Everything else was completed using pencils, starting with the white pencil. When everything was finished I removed the masks and fussy cut around the icebergs. I glued the iceberg scene and moon flat onto the sky panel. The panel was them matted onto a white scalloped square and funky foam was added to the back to give it dimension, then added to the card front.
I Used

Craft Consortium - Polar Playtime #3

Hi everyone ðŸ’œ

After my time away from social media because of illness I'm here to share the 3rd of my cards using the fabulous new collection released by Craft Consortium called 'Polar Playtime' (in partnership with Helz Cuppleditch). The collection has just landed on the Craft Consortium website and in good craft retailers both here in the UK and in the USA. It will also be launched on Create & Craft TV in the New Year (tbc). As previously mentioned the collection has the most adorable polar bear and penguin images - the collection contains fabulous 3 x A6 stamp sets, a 12" x 12" & 6" x 6" paper pad, a decoupage set, wooden shapes and embellishments. Definitely check it out!

For today's card I have used the 'Polar Playtime' stamp set and created a little snowy scene behind her using some dies from my stash. Hope you like it. x

I've added direct links to the products below, or you can also go direct to the Craft Consortium's website using this link here, and sign up for updates on any future product launches.

Here's What I Did
I trimmed down a piece of patterned paper from the pad and some complimentary blue card slightly smaller than my 6" x 6" card blank, and attached them both to the front. I stamped the word 'celebrate' from the stamp set using pink ink.

I stamped and coloured the penguin and her skating boots with Copic pens, and fussy cut them both out.

I die cut 1 x scalloped circle and 1 x stitched inverted scalloped circle frame from strong white card this will form the top and base of the scene topper. Next I die cut 1 x circle from the same patterned paper used in the background, and 3 x circles from the white card used previously. Using the white circles I cut 1 x tree border and then 2 x sloping hill making one smaller than the other. To create the snowy scene I glued the pattered paper circle in the centre of the scalloped circle to create the sky, then added the tree border and sloping hill. To finish the topper I added the inverted scalloped frame over the top of the scene, and added the penguin and her boots using foam pads. Funky foam was added to the back of the topper and then attached to the card front.

To complete the card I added small gems and sequins near to the sentiment.

Tip - when you create scenes like this, always used the same white card otherwise the shades might be slightly off and look odd.

I Used
Stamps - Polar Playtime - Polar Playtime
Paper Pad - 12" x 12" Polar Playtime
Paper Pad - 6" x 6" Polar Playtime

Lili Of the Valley - Love Collection Sneak Peak #2

Hi everyone

I'm back again to share another sneaky peak of one of the new digi stamps from the 'Love' collection being launched by LOTV on Friday 17th January in the Etsy store.  As mentioned yesterday the new digi stamps include lots of sweet bunnies and couples. :)

So for my card today, I've used another of the bunnie images, and this one is called Bunnies Flower Basket which I coloured with Copic pens. I decided to use shades of lemon on my card to give it a spring time feel, to show that the stamps could be used for other occasions and not just for 'love. I will add the link to the new images once the launch has taken place. I hope you like it. x

For your information, here is the link to the LOTV Etsy Store to check out all the digi stampsand the LOTV online store to check out the rest of their goodies.

Here's What I Did
I trimmed down a piece of lemon card along with a piece of pretty patterned paper, and added them both to the front of my 6" x 6" white card blank, leaving a border around the edge of both.

I imported the cute bunnie digi stamp into my graphics program, then resized it to fit my project. The image was then printed directly onto colouring card stock and die cut into an oval. another bunnie was printed onto copier paper and fussy cut out to create a mask. I temporarily stuck the mask on top of the image to protect it, and applied blue distressed ink to a cloud stencil to add fluffy clouds to the sky. When the sky was completely dry I coloured the image in using Copic pens. Glitter was added to the heart balloon and flowers.

The completed picture was added to another oval cut from lemon card. The topper was mounted onto funky foam to add a little height, and then adhered to the card front.

To finish my card I added 3 die cut banners flowers and a few gems.

Here's What I Used
Digital Stamp: Bunnies Flower Basket
Copic Pens: Rabbits - W0, W1, W2, W3, R30 / Hearts & Flowers - Y11, Y15, Y17 / Grass - YG03, YG17

Other: 6" x 6" White Card Blank, Make It Color Blending Card, 'Country Meadow' (old LOTV Paper Pad), Yellow Card, Yellow Glitter Card, Home Sweet Home 'Oval' Frame Die (Tonic), Banner Dies (MFT), Tumbled Glass Distress Ink, Cloud Stencil (MFT), Glitter, Glue, Double Sided Tape, Glitter, Gems

Lili Of The Valley - Love Collection Sneak Peak #1

Hi everyone

Sorry I haven't been around for over a month, but I've had this awful virus that has been floating around the UK. It has really taken it's toll, and unfortunately I even ended up in A & E in the early hours of New year's Day morning, because I couldn't breathe. Thank heavens for my fabulous daughter who looked after me, and even postponed her trip back home to see her boyfriend to look after me. Thankfully I'm starting to feel a bit better even though it's a slow recovery.

So spearhead my recovery I'm sharing a little sneaky peak of one of the new digi stamps from the 'Love' collection being launched by Lili Of The Valley (LOTV); the new collection will be available in the Etsy store on Friday 17th January.  The new digi stamps include lots of sweet bunnies and couples. :)

So for my card today, I've used one of the bunnie images called Bunnies Daisy Chain which I coloured with Copic pens, plus a sentiments from the previously launched 'Wedding Bears Extra' collection. I will add the link to the new images once the launch has taken place. I hope you like it. x

For your information, here is the link to the LOTV Etsy Store to check out all the digi stampsand the LOTV online store to check out the rest of their goodies.

The image was then printed directly onto colouring card stock and die cut into an indented stitched square. The image was coloured in using Copic pens, then glitter was added to the butterfly, flowers and heart.

The completed picture was added to another indented square, then onto a scalloped mat both cut from pink card. The topper was mounted onto funky foam to add a little height, and then adhered to the card front.

To finish my card I added die cut flowers and leaves, plus a few pink mini pearls.

Here's What I Used
Digital Stamp: Bunnies Daisy Chain
Digital Sentiment Stamp: Wedding Bears Extra

Craft Consortium - Polar Playtime Release #2

Hi everyone ðŸ’œ

I'm here again to share the 2nd of my cards using the fabulous new collection from Craft Consortium called 'Polar Playtime' (in partnership with Helz Cuppleditch). The collection has just landed on the Craft Consortium website and in good craft retailers. It will also be launched on Create & Craft TV in the New Year (tbc). The products will also be available to buy here in the UK and in the USA. The collection has the most adorable polar bears and penguins enjoying the snow and having fun. The colours are so pretty, in pinks and aqua and green. The collection contains fabulous 3 x A6 stamp sets, a 12" x 12" paper pad, a decoupage set, wooden shapes and embellishments. You have to check it out!!

So today I decided to create a shaker card using the 'BFF' stamp set again. The background paper is from one of Craft Consortium's Grunge pads, on which I randomly stamped a lot of snowflakes. I used Copics to colour the little penguins in with.

I've added direct links to the products below, or you can also go to the Craft Consortium's website using this link here and sign up for an update to this launch and any future product launches.

Here's What I Did
I randomly stamped snowflakes all over a piece of paper from one of Craft Consortium's previously released 'Grunge' paper pads; this was attached to the front of a 6" x 6" card blank leaving a thin border around the edge.

I die cut the globe part of the snow globe several times from white card, then glued and stacked them together to create dimension.  Next I die cut the globe again from a piece of acetate and glued it on  top of the stack, and then glued another die cut globe cut from white card over the top of that.

I die cut the back panel of the snow globe and blended distress oxides onto it, when it was dry I flicked water and diluted white chalk paint all over it to create snowfall. I die cut another back panel, this time from white card, drew 2 icebergs along the top and cut them out and glued them into place on top of the inky sky. A blue Copic pen was added to the very top of the icebergs along with some glitter. The sentiment was stamped with clear versamark ink, heat embossed with white embossing powder.

Sequins were added into the well of the globe and the back panel I created was glued over the top to seal everything inside. The globe base was die cut several times from white card to stack it up, and the topmost layer was cut from silver glittery card. Pink Bakers Twine was wrapped around the base and a die cut pink snowflake was added, along with a white enamel dot.The snowglobe was glued to the font of the card.

I stamped the penguins onto blending card, coloured them in with Copic pens and fussy cut them out. The penguins were attached to the front of the card blank using a mixture of glue and foam pads.

To complete the card I added 3 of the white enamel dots in each corner, and a few die cut stars to the globe.

I Used
Stamps - Polar Playtime - BFF
Paper Pad - Grunge - Light Tones
Embellishments: Polar Playtime - Enamel Dots

For USA visitors - the collection will be distributed by Notions Marketing, you may be able to buy direct from them or you could ask your local craft store to order in direct from Notions Marketing.

I die cut a piece of white colouring card into an inverted square the same size as the previously cut patterned paper. Next I stamped the penguins towards the bottom of the card, and then drew iceberg shapes above the penguins and cut them out. Blue Copic pen was added around the edge of the icebergs, and then across the centre to create an icy horizon line. The penguins were then colour in with Copic pens. The coloured in scene was then glued over the top of the blue patterned paper to form the sky. The completed scene was added to the die cut mirror mat, and attached to the front of the card blank using funky foam.

Lili Of The Valley - Christmas Snowman

Hi everyone

Sorry I haven't posted for a while, but I've had a few issues with one of my eyes which made it really difficult to colour images, and craft in general. Although things haven't settled down yet, I think I'm kind of getting used to the problem so thankfully I'm managing to craft/colour again.

Sooo, for today's card I'm sharing a previously released Lili of The Valley digi Christmas stamp from the mini snowmen collection.  This little sweetheart is called Christmas Snowman 4 and I coloured him with Copic pens. The sentiment is from the Christmas Wishes collection.

For your information, here is the link to the LOTV Etsy Store to check out all the digi stampsand the LOTV online store to check out the rest of their goodies.

Here's What I Did
I trimmed down a piece of white card and embossed it with a snowflake embossing folder, then attached it to the front of a 6" x 6" card front leaving a slim border around the edge. Using a sheet of pink card I die cut a fancy Christmas frame, and then glued it flat in the centre of the card front.

I imported the cute little snowman postie digi stamp and sentiment into my graphics program, then resized them to fit my project. The image was printed directly onto colouring card stock and die cut using the same frame die. The image was then coloured in using Copic pens. When the image was finished I added glitter to the snow and star. Funky foam was added to the back of the panel and  attached to the frame's aperture. To finish my card I added a few punched out stars and pink pearls.

Here's What I Used

Lili Of The Valley - Oldie But Goodie

Hi everyone

Today I'm sharing an older Lili of The Valley Christmas stamp which is now available in digital form, and I've combined it with a sentiment digi stamp released a few months ago. The little bunnie stamp is called Christmas Bunnies Post and I coloured it with Copic pens. The sentiment  is called Christmas Wishes.

For your information, here is the link to the LOTV Etsy Store to check out all the digi stampsand the LOTV online store to check out the rest of their goodies.

Here's What I Did
I trimmed down a piece of green Christmassy patterned paper, and added it to the front of my 6" x 6" card front leaving a slim border around the edge.

I imported the sweet mouse postie digi stamp and sentiment into my graphics program, then resized them to fit my project. The image was printed directly onto colouring card stock and die cut into an indented square. The image was then coloured in using Copic pens. When the image was finished I added glitter to the fur trims and snow and attached it the front of a gold stitched indented square die cut from gold mirror card.  The whole topper was added to the card front using funky foam.

To finish my card I added a die cut poinsettia and leaves, all die cut from green and gold card.
