Lili Of the Valley - Grace Collection #1

 Hi everyone

I hope you are all keeping well and are coping with the Covid restrictions wherever you are. Here in the UK we are staying in a complete lockdown apart from essential workers and shops. I'm keeping myself busy with crafty projects and colouring...and oh yes, tidying my craft room. The tidying of my craft room is definitely going to be a looooong process, but it needs to be done. Sob!! I have already binned, recycled and donated a lot of my old card blanks, card and patterned paper, however I still have a long way to go before it's completely sorted.

Anyhow, I have taken a break from the 'craftroom room tidy up' to concentrate on some lovely new Lili Of The Valley digi stamps. The 'Grace' collection launches on February 14th and depict the sweetest little girls called Hope, Faith, Kindness, Beauty, Charity, Wonder and Love. The images are in both normal black line art and in a pencil sketch format. The pencil sketch images are fainter and would suit no-line colouring, they could be coloured using colour pencils, alcohol pens or watercolours, and to give a softer look. In the collection there are also a set of extra elements, sentiments and Simply Prints. For my card today I have used  the pencil sketch of Grace - Kindness and a few HB pencils together with a paper stump to blend the graphite. I hope you like it. I will add the links once the launch has taken place.

Remember to stay safe and healthy people. If you are struggling and need a chat please email me as I'm happy to help (my address is on the right). x

For your information, here is the link to the LOTV Etsy Store to check out all the digi stampsand the LOTV online store to check out the rest of their goodies.

Here's What I Did
I used a 6" x 6" white scalloped card and matted it with pretty pink patterned card. The little girl image and a sentiment were printed directly onto the mixed media card then coloured with HB pens. I used a paper stump to blend the graphite. The finished image was die cut into a square and I added to a scalloped square mat cut from dark grey card. The topper was glued flat to the front of the card.

To complete the card I added die cut flowers, leaves and a heart in the same colour way, along with a few pearls.

Here's What I Used
Individual Digi Stamp: Grace - Kindness (Pencil Sketch)
Sentiment: Kindness (Black)

Pencils: HB, 2B, 4B

Other: 6" x 6" White Scalloped Card Blank, 'What A Hoot' Trimcraft Paper Pad, Grey Card, Silver Glitter Card, Canson Mixed Media Paper, Stitched Scalloped Square Die (Creative Expressions), Fabulous Flower Dies (Hunkydory - Moonstone Dies), Branch Die (?), Heart Die (The Works), Shimmer Pen, Pearls, Paper Stump (Tortillion)

It's Me Again

Lol, yep I'm back again with another Lili Of The Valley card using one of the new baby digi stamps which launched yesterday (8th January). For today's card I've used the following digi stamps - Cute Bear 1, Cute Bear 4Baby Animal - Rabbit and the Baby Extras, which I've teamed up a sentiment from an old set called 'Handwritten Phrases'. I just think LOTV have the cutest animal digi stamps, these characters could be used for any occasion and for any age. For this card I used Prismacolor pencils to colour everything with. You can buy the characters individually or all the 19 images baby together.

Next I arranged the rabbit and bear images into a row with the sentiment placed underneath them; everything was then printed directly onto tanned colour paper. The images were coloured with pencils, then die cut into a rectangle and added to a white scalloped mat. Funky foam was glued to the back of the topper and then added to the card front. To complete the card glitter was added to the stars.

Lili Of The Valley - Baby Collection #2

 Hi everyone

I'm back with another card using one of the gorgeous new baby digi stamps from Lili Of The Valley that are being released this Friday (8th January). The stamp I used today is called 'Baby Swing' and I've teamed it up with a typed sentiment using the 'Scrap Calligraphy' font. I chose to make a 1st birthday card for a little girl; I used Copic pens to colour it up. You can buy the stamps individually or in a bindle of all 19. I hope you like her.

Remember if you are struggling during this difficult time and need a chat, please email me as I'm happy to help (my address is on the right). Stay safe and healthy people. (This card will be added to my Etsy store to buy).

Here's What I Did
I added 2 complementary pattern papers to the front of a 6" x 6" white card leaving a slim white border around the edge of each.

I die cut the pretty frame 3 times - twice from white card and once from a pale pink card...then glued them together. The baby image, typed sentiment and hearts were arrange and then printed directly onto the colouring card. The image was coloured with Copic pens, then die cut into a square and the pink frame was glued over the top. Glitter was added to the tiny hearts around the baby. Funky foam was added to the back of the topper and the whole thing was glued to the front of the card.

To complete the card I added die cut flowers and leaves, along with a few pearls.

Lili Of The Valley - Baby Collection 2021

 Happy New Year everyone

Here's hoping 2021 is a healthier, happier and safer year. Well in the few days it has taken me to write this post and add my picture we have gone from Tier 4 restrictions in my area, to a full national lockdown here in the UK. If you're not from the UK, that means we must not leave or be outside of your home or garden except where you have a ‘reasonable excuse’ eg for work, one hour of exercise, essential shopping or for medical appointments. All our non essential shops, leisure, and hair & beauty facilities etc are all closed. We are going to be in this lockdown until the middle of February, so fingers crossed things improve soon and the infection rate slows down. Stay safe and healthy people. If you are struggling and need a chat please email me as I'm happy to help (my address is on the right).  x

To lighten the mood, I'm sharing my latest card using one of the gorgeous Lili Of The Valley new baby digi stamps being released on Friday 8th January. The stamp is called 'Baby Hammock' and I've teamed it up with the 'Congratulations' sentiment from a previously released collection (I added the 'To You All' myself using the Times New Roman font). I chose to make the card for a boy, and I used Copic pens to colour it up. I hope you like him. (This card will be added to my Etsy store to buy).

For your information, here is the link to the LOTV Etsy Store to check out all the digi stampsand the LOTV online store to check out the rest of their goodies.

Here's What I Did
I used a 6" x 6" white scalloped card and matted it with green card.  After cutting a piece of patterned paper to size I die cut it with a pin hole effect die, this was then add it to the card front. The boy image and a sentiment was printed directly onto the colouring card then coloured with Copic pens. The finished image was die cut into a circle and I added a few stamped elements around the images (these are not from LOTV). Another circle was cut from blue card using a fancy edge die, and the boy image was glued on top.

Funky foam was added to the back of the circle topper, and then added to the card front. To complete the card I added 3 green pearls to the bottom area, and a little glitter to the stars and hearts.

Here's What I Used
