Hi everyone
I hope you are all keeping well and are coping with the Covid restrictions wherever you are. Here in the UK we are staying in a complete lockdown apart from essential workers and shops. I'm keeping myself busy with crafty projects and colouring...and oh yes, tidying my craft room. The tidying of my craft room is definitely going to be a looooong process, but it needs to be done. Sob!! I have already binned, recycled and donated a lot of my old card blanks, card and patterned paper, however I still have a long way to go before it's completely sorted.Anyhow, I have taken a break from the 'craftroom room tidy up' to concentrate on some lovely new Lili Of The Valley digi stamps. The 'Grace' collection launches on February 14th and depict the sweetest little girls called Hope, Faith, Kindness, Beauty, Charity, Wonder and Love. The images are in both normal black line art and in a pencil sketch format. The pencil sketch images are fainter and would suit no-line colouring, they could be coloured using colour pencils, alcohol pens or watercolours, and to give a softer look. In the collection there are also a set of extra elements, sentiments and Simply Prints. For my card today I have used the pencil sketch of Grace - Kindness and a few HB pencils together with a paper stump to blend the graphite. I hope you like it. I will add the links once the launch has taken place.
Remember to stay safe and healthy people. If you are struggling and need a chat please email me as I'm happy to help (my address is on the right). x
Here's What I Used
For your information, here is the link to the LOTV Etsy Store to check out all the digi stamps, and the LOTV online store to check out the rest of their goodies.
I used a 6" x 6" white scalloped card and matted it with pretty pink patterned card. The little girl image and a sentiment were printed directly onto the mixed media card then coloured with HB pens. I used a paper stump to blend the graphite. The finished image was die cut into a square and I added to a scalloped square mat cut from dark grey card. The topper was glued flat to the front of the card.
To complete the card I added die cut flowers, leaves and a heart in the same colour way, along with a few pearls.
