Hunkydory's For The Love Of Stamps August Release

Hi everyone

Today I'm sharing my 10 Design Team projects for the August launch of the 'For The Love Of Stamps' By Hunkydory. The stamps were launched on August 6th on Create & Craft - you might have spotted some of my samples. Quite a few of my samples are shown in the For The Love Of Stamps August magazine (issue 6), and my polar bear card can also be seen on the front cover.

You can but the stamps, stencils and card direct from Hunkydory or Create & Craft either individually or as a bundle. For my cards and tag I have used stamps from different sets are they work beautifully together.

Now I know I normally give written instructions for every project I make, but I've decided that on the FTLOS projects I won't be. I will be using so many different techniques, materials and mediums that it would make the post incredibly long (which it is already) and very time-consuming to write. So if you want to know anything about any of the cards I've made please, please either email me, or leave me a comment and your email address and I'll send you all the details. :) However I will still list the products use. WARNING - this post is picture heavy.

The following are shown in the magazine

My Sad News!

Hi there,

Although I do have a pile of card/projects to share with you, I won't be posting them or anything else for a little while. The reason is that my mum passed away last week.

She was rushed into hospital with Heart Failure which is a condition she developed after her open heart surgery in January, however she actually died of a bleed on her brain caused by a fall in the hospital, in which she hit her head. It has been a traumatic few weeks, and the likes of which I would never want to repeat. My sister and I stayed with her 24/7 from when we discovered something was seriously wrong (this was missed by nursing staff) until her death. It was an horrendous 5 days, of which I will be permanently haunted by.

I am also my mum's executor for her funeral, so I'm dealing with all aspects of that, plus I am joint executor of her Will. So as you can imagine I'm pretty busy atm, but at least it is keeping me occupied. I also have to deal with the Coroner because due to the circumstances of her death he has bcome  involved...so all in all by head is 'done in' as we say in the North East of England. I have to admit to being very tired and stressed beyond words, but I know it will pass and I will craft and blog as soon as things settle down.

I hope you will visit again, and thank you for reading my sad message.

Hugs

Janine x
