Sugar Nellie Design Team - Pure Angel

Good morning sugar fans!

Well  here we are again, it's my turn to share my Sugar Nellie DT card with you. Since I last posted, I've recovered from my flu bug, had a birthday, been to London to stay with my daughter, saw 2 shows and visited the Elvis exhibition at the O2 - phew!!! I had a totally amazing fun packed birthday and I loved every minute of it. I can't wait to do it again! I will post some pictures - I promise :)

Anyhow onto my Sugar Nellie card for you today. I've been wanting to colour this little sweetie up for ages - she's called 'Pure Angel' by Diane Duda. Now I know she's not available in the Funkykits store but there's loads of other Diane Duda stamps and digital stamps for sale - just go to Funkykits (the home of Sugar Nellie).

Here's What I Did
I started with a white shaped card base which I matted with LOTV patterned papers edged with distressing ink. I stamped the angel onto watercolour card, then using Inktense pencils I coloured her in; I then used distressing inks on the background. I die cut the finished image and matted and layered it onto die cut coloured card stock mats. To finish off I used glitter on her wings, and Wink of Stella on her dress, then added a die cut flower and a few pearls.
Here's What I Used
Stamp: 'Pure Angel' by Diane Duda (not available). Other stamps are available from Funkykits,
Paper/Cardstock (CS): Crafters Companion Watercolour CS, Lilac, Green & Pink & Green CS, Lili Of the Valley (LOTV) 'Perfect Pairs' Paper Pad, Pink Glitter CS
Inktense Pencils: Skin - Baked Earth, Carmine Pink, Saddle Brown / Hair - Sicilian Yellow, Golden Yellow, Sienna Gold, Baked Earth / Dress - Apple Green, Felt Green,  / Wings & Heart - Carmine Pink, Hot Pink / Ground - Neutral Grey / Background (Distressing Inks)- Tumbled Glass, Worn Lipstick
Dies: MFT Die-namics 'Blueprint 14', Mama Elephant (postage and stitched edge dies)
