Sweet Stampin' - Christmas In July Challenge

Well the sun is shining, it's warm and I have a fly buzzing around my head so it must be officially summer. :)  Yey, not long to my super duper holiday in Alaska where it definitely won't be summery or warm - mmm, I'd better dig out some of my warmer togs and my sparkly evening frock (that for the cruising part of the trip). Anyway back to reality! (*sad face)

Well it's that time of the month again ---- it's Sweet Stampin' time.  This week it's all about Christmas In July --- I know, I know I said the dreaded 'C' word. I'm so sorry!!!  So to get you in the Christmassy mood here's my DT card and if that doesn't work it'll definitely cool you off. LOL

Here's What I did
I used a A5 white card base with a mat of patterned paper which was edges with distressing ink. The Kraft card mat was die cut to give a scallop curved bottom. The sentiments and snowflakes were printed directly onto my sheet using CraftArtist2, and the snow family was stamped in the space between them. I used Copics to colour the family and used distressing ink around the edge of the card and the die cut tree.  To finish off my card I added a little glitter to the falling snow.

Can I just say that I loooove this stamp - it's so cute and very easy to colour.

Here's everything I used:
Rubber Stamp: LOTV 'Snow Family'
Paper/Cardstock (CS): Neenah CS, Kraft CS, A4 White CS, LOTV 'Winter Wishes' Paper
Copics: Sky - W0, W1, W2, W3, W5 / Snow - C0, C1, C2, C3 / Scarf (Blue trim) - B0000, B000, B00, B02 / Hollo - G82, G94, G99 / Noses - YR07, YR68 / Hat & Scarf - E50, E51, E53, E57, 0
Dies: Spellbinders 'Borderabilities',  Marianne Designs 'Christmas Tree'
Other: Glitter, Distressing Inks 'Tea Dye'

I really, really love this card. Will have to try the sentiment placement as it shows off the image beautifully. Raining here today, so crafting rather than gardening for me :0)xx
