As I didn't have a card to show you this week, I thought I would share a card I made for two of my daughter's closest friends who got married last week. They are both a sweet and extremely talented couple who I believe will go far in the film industry here in the UK. I wish them all the love and luck in the world. I've slightly covered their names on the front of the card but left the date showing.
The couple in question absolutely loooovee Disney, and even had a Disney themed wedding cake. I was asked by my daughter to make a Beauty & The Beast card.
FOOTNOTE - I have been emailed many times by lovely people wanting me to make a similar card to this for a family member or friend getting married. Unfortunately I am unable to do this, because I no longer own a Cricut machine or the Cartridge used to make it. I'm really sorry!
I made the card using one of my Disney Cricut cartridges, I have to say it came out really well despite the fact that it was soooo fiddly and time consuming. Some of the smaller element such as Belle's face and Beast's fur were a nightmare to cut and glue into place. Some of the pieces had to be cut out several times until I got them right.
The sentiment was printed directly onto the white cardstock which I die cut it with a fancy oval. The flowers and leaves were also die cut.
Here's What I Used:
Cricut Cartridge - Disney 'Dreams Come True'
Cardstock (CS): First Edition 'Silent Night', Silver Mirra CS, White CS
Dies - Britannia 'Multi Rose', Tattered Lace 'Embellishment', Spellbinders Grand 'Decorative Elements'
Other - Serif CraftArtist2, Craftwork Cards 'Candi', Gems, Pearls
My daughter and her friends absolutely loved it - which made all my hard work worth it.
Thank you for visiting.

Here's What I Did
I die cut a fold pieces of card to make my scalloped base case, then die cut another piece of the same card and added it to the front. I die cut 3 circles in coloured CS which I matted and layered. I then stamped my image onto Neenah CS and coloured her in with Copics and cut her out. I die cut another circle and put my image temporarily in place and drew the raindrops and puddle around her. She was removed and I coloured everything in and added a little glitter. To finish off I glued the little girl image and the duck in place and added the 3 banner strips to the side.
Here's everything I used:
Stamp: Little Ducky' Sugar Nellie rubber stamp from Funkykits
Paper/Cardstock (CS): White Neenah, Yellow and Blue CS, Molly Bloom Paper 'Birthday' kit

Sweet Stampin' - Lots Of Layers
It's Sweet Stampin' time again.
I hope you're all enjoy the beautiful spring weather here in the UK. It's so nice to see some sunshine instead of fog and clouds. Anyhoo, back to Sweet Stampin' - our theme this week is Lots Of Layers. Well I don't do layers very well, so I decided to create a tag for you using my new Prima Doll. I bought this and another PD stamp a few months but never seemed to got around to using them. But can I say this stamp is HUGE, I had to use my Cuttlebug B place as my acrylic block so I could stamp her out. I have to say I totally enjoyed making this.

Here's What I did
Using this gorgeous paper as inspiration I decided to go with a lilac colourway. Unfortunately my ribbon appears blue in the photo -- I actually took 20 photos of this tag and it still looked blue. I made my own large tag and added my paper, then stamped my sentiment onto it. At the bottom I glued a punched out border and topped it with ribbon. paper pieced her dress, The flowers, leaves and branches were die and glued into place. The dolls clothes were paper pieced and layering it up. To add a bit of interest I drew a design on the dress/hairband with glue and added some glitter. To finish off I placed my die cut clouds and punched out butterflies around the tag. I did use Copic pens to create her hair, and to add shade to the skins and dress. Here's what I Used:
Stamp: Prima Doll #910143, Little Darlings 'Large Words'
Cardstock (CS)/Paper: White, Cream & Lilac CS, DoCrafts 'Bellsimo' Paper Pack

Sugar Nellie - Bad Hare Day
Good morning everybody, I hope you are all enjoying the spring weather.
Let Us know
I'm keen to know if there's anything you'd like to learn or know how to do eg how to emboss, use shrink plastic, make a tag etc. Or is there anything you'd like to see included on the Sugar Nellie blog. If so let me know - either leave me a comment or email me.
Why not visit my lovely design teamies over at Sugar Nellie and check out everyone's sugary creations. We also have a monthly challenge over at the Sugar Bowl so why not join us - we'd love to see you. The theme for Challenge 114 is Easter/Springtime. But remember to use a Sugar Nellie stamp.
I look forward to seeing you soon.
It's my turn this week to show you one of the stamps from the Sugar Nellie range over at Funkykits. So here's my DT card using this cutie digital stamp ‘Bad Hare
Day’. The originally plan was to
repaint my new wooden heart shaped hanging thingy to showcase my stamp along with bits of paper, stamped
images, flowers but I had a nightmare. I'm not really much good glue and tend to get it everywhere but where I want it...well I had the same nightmare with blue paint. I‘ve now come to realise
up-cycling wooden objects might need a tad more practice and a lot more play
time ---- and possibly better acrylic paints. My hubbie just shakes his head. LOL
Aw well, I might give it another try for my next project - well maybe!!.
Anyhoo, back to this week's DT card --- after doing a
crafty detour I’ve created an 8 x 8 Easter card scene. I like to use different mediums as you know, so this week
I decided to use my Prisma Pencils as they were gathering dust in their tin box - I did however use my Copics to add a base layer before using my pencils.
Here's What I Did
I attached some gorgeous glittery aqua coloured card onto my white base card and punches out 2 borders and added them to each side. I used the same aqua coloured card as the background (sky) and base of the scene, From the same paper pad I cut out a few green hills in different directions and added distressing ink on the edges. These were layered up onto the background (sky) card, and I placed a few of the glittered stickers from the pad around the scene and added my girl image. I die cut the picket fence, bird table, bird and clouds and attached them to the card. To finish off my scene I added a little glitter, the sentiment and some punched out flowers and butterflies around the image.
Here's what I used:
Digital Stamp: 'Bad Hare Day' available from Funkykits.
Paper/Cardstock (CS): , Blue, White & Cream CS, First Edition 'Spring Drop''

Mother's Day Flower Box
Good afternoon everybody
I know I recently posted a DT box card for Mother's Day/Special Lady but that card wasn't actually for my mum as she's already seen it so there wouldn't have been a surprise. However, because she absolutely love the concept of the box card I decided to make her one.
So I thought as I don't have a Design Team card to show you today I would share it with you. To say she loves this card is an understatement ----- she REALLY LOVES this card. She won't take it down from the mantelpiece where she keeps it, and intends to leave it up permanently. See I told you she loves it! :-)
Here's What I Did
I've created my own box card tutorials in 3 different versions --- please feel free to print or save them. You can find them on the TIPS, TUTORIAL, HINTS Page (see the link at the top of the page). These tuts took me forever to write and create, so please do not pass them off as your own - and I would appreciate a link back to my blog if you use them to make your card. Plus I'd love to see what you create using them, so why not get in touch I'd love to hear from you.

Here's What I Did
I made the box body myself and decorated the sides and flaps with patterned papers edged with distressing ink. Each strut inside the box was embellished with die cut flowers, butterflies, a sentiment. Mostly of the content was created using a Craftwork Cards kit. Some of the embellishment were added to the struts themselves and some were taped to card branches.

Yey I Won A Prize!
I'm so chuffed. I entered my Sweet Stampin' - Doodles card onto Sassy Cheryl's 'Show Me Thursday' blog and it's been featured, and I've won a prize. Yey!!!
Here's the link to the page http://sassycheryls.blogspot.co.uk/.
Apart from her gorgeous hand drawn digi stamps Sassy Cheryl has a challenge blog and a 'Show Me Thursday' blog (SMT). On her SMT blog you can simply upload anything you've been working on that week ---- it doesn't even have to include a Sassy Cheryl image either (how cool is that!), plus you can win a prize if she selects you.
So why not check it out and entered your project/card.
Hugs Janine

My hubbie and I are going on another cruise in the middle of the year, and everyone assumes that we're planned a lovely warm weather one.....but nah!! Why be boring lol. Nope, we're going to Alaska - we've planned to watch a Lumberjack show, a visit the glaciers, go whale watching, and visit a huskie puppy pound and go sledding with their mums and dads. So excited is an understatement.

Here's What I did
I used a 6 x 6 card base, and matted and layered it with some pretty lemon paper and doodled around the edge. Then using my Die-namic die I cut out 2 squares (one in blue and one in green) and cut them in half, I re-joined 2 of the halves onto the page to make my sky and grass. I stamped my 'Happy Easter' sentiment banner and coloured it with Copics and added glitter. From my brand new dies which are so sweet, I die cut a couple of pieces of picket fence and some clouds and attached them to the scene. My little Forever Friends bear was stamped 3 times, coloured with Copics, cut out and layered up. He was stuck onto my card along with the coloured and cut out little chicks. To finish off I die cut some flowers and plants (in reality these were made stamen and leaf dies) which I added them to the front along with some punched out butterflies. I wanted a clean and fresh look and hopefully I've achieved it..
Here's what I Used:
Stamp: Docrafts 'Spring Time', Crafty Impressions 'Spring Border'

Sugar Nellie Design Team Card - April
Big News: I'm now part of the Sugar Nellie Design Team as well as being as being a Sweetie for the Sugar Bowl Challenges. I'm sharing my new role with another sweetie Pami - so we'll be creating a card/project on alternative weeks. So watch this space!
To create this card I cut down an cream 8" x 8" card base to 7" x 7". The little fairy was printed directly onto the glittered background card, then printed a further 4 times onto white Neenah CS, then coloured, cut out and layered up.
I then printed the image onto Neenah cardstock a further 4 times and coloured her in with my Copics. The whole fairy was cut out first, and cut out again but minus some elements, then just her wings which were cut out and glittered. I coloured the mushrooms with Copics directly onto the cardstock to give a rustic feel. Then I added the green CS and glittered CS to my card base; the first fairy layer was glued directly onto the mushroom, and the other layers were raised up using foam pads. To finish off my scene I added a little gem to her hair, gave certain areas a little highlight with a white gel pen and placed some punched out butterflies around the image.
Let Us know
I'm keen to know if there's anything you'd like to learn or know how to do eg how to emboss, use shrink plastic, make a tag etc. Or is there anything you'd like to see included on the Sugar Nellie blog. If so let me know - either leave me a comment or email me.
To create this card I cut down an cream 8" x 8" card base to 7" x 7". The little fairy was printed directly onto the glittered background card, then printed a further 4 times onto white Neenah CS, then coloured, cut out and layered up.
Here's What I Did
Using Serif's Craft Artist2 software I created 2 squares placing one inside the other - the outer one measuring 6" x 6" square and the other measuring 5.5" x 5.5". This was done to make sure I took into account the glittered border on the paper. I then inserted my digi stamp into the centre square and resized it accordingly and added my curved text above her. To ensure I had everything placed correctly and in the right size I printed onto copier paper first, this also let me know which direct it would come out of the printer. The print out was then checked against my glittered card stock to ensure my image would fit correctly. When I was happy, I taped my glittered card stock onto another piece of plain copier paper in exactly the same place and orientation as shown on my tester sheet using Scotch Repositionable (removable) tape. I then placed it in the printer and printed it out and voila - my image and text was printed exactly in the centre of my glittered CS. I then printed the image onto Neenah cardstock a further 4 times and coloured her in with my Copics. The whole fairy was cut out first, and cut out again but minus some elements, then just her wings which were cut out and glittered.
