Sugar Bowl October Challenge Card (108)

Well we're slowing motoring toward Christmas - oh dear I mention the dread  'C' again....sorry!  *Slapped wrist* I won't say it again, I promised.  But the night's are drawing in, and there's a slight chill in the air on a morning (well there is here in the North East of England!). So to brighten your day there's another monthly challenge over at The Sugar Bowl - the theme is Anything Goes (it MUST include a SUGAR NELLIE digital or rubber stamp).

So to get you in the mood here's a card I created using this gorgeous girl, isn't she beautiful. She was such a dream to colour in - she comes in digital format and you can buy and download her from Funkykits here. I love orange in cards, and particularly love aqua and orange, it's give such a fresh and zesty look.

Here's everything I used:

Digi Stamp: Butterfly Girl from Funkykits
Cardstock: 8" x 5½" card base (cut by me), First Edition 'Boho Chic'
Copics: Face - E0000, E000, E00, E02, R20 / Hair - YR0000, YR000, YR00, E33, E15, E13 / Dress - YR0000, YR000, YR00, YR15, BG10, BG13, BG34 / Eyes - E00, E13, E15 / Butterflies - BG10, BG13, BG34
Stamp: MY Minds Eye 'Tangerine - Hello'
Punch: Mini Butterfly (Coloured with Copics - BG10, BG13)
Die: Xcut Large Ovals, Large Scallop Ovals, Various Flower Dies
Other: Ribbon, Gems, Distressing Ink (Mustard Seed), Glitter, Pearls, Doily, Dew Drops

So don't forget to drop by at The Sugar Bowl and have a look at what the rest of my DT buddies have created for you, and why not join in with this month's challenge. It's open to everyone and the theme is 'Anything Goes' so why not give it a go. You can create anything you like but it MUST include a SUGAR NELLIE STAMP (either rubber or digi) otherwise it will be removed (sorry!).

*** Just to let you into a little secret while you reading this post I'm sat on the beach in sunny Spain sipping a glass of ice cold Sangria....jealous yet! LOL   I'm thinking of you all so I'm not being totally cruel.  I hope the weather's not too dreary back in the UK. ***

Have fun, and I look forward to seeing your creations on my return.

Hugs

Janine x
