Haven't got a Whimsy image......no problems. Whimsy have some freebie images and papers that you can download and play with, here's the link to the digital freebie page. So what are you waiting for? There are a few do's and don'ts on our Challenge Blog, plus information on where to upload your projects. If you have any problems you can either - leave me a comment here with your email address, or email me, or message me on our facebook page.
Anyhow, I've combined my Challenge card with my normal weekly Whimsy Inspiration card with you, so it's a joint post. :) All the links to the specific Whimsy products can be found below and the link to the general store is here.
Here's What I Did
I covered the front of a top fold 5" x 7"white card blank with some pretty pink patterned paper. The penguin image and sentiment was printed directly onto colouring card stock, and coloured with Copic pens. The coloured image was trimmed to fit the card front, then one end was die cut using a envelop edger die to create the topper. A piece of brown card was cut using the same edger die and glued behind the topper and added the card front.
A 'hello gorgeous' sentiment was printed onto card, then trimmed and added to the card front using foam pads. To finish the card, glitter was added to the word 'happy' and enamel dots and gems were glued around the card front.
Here's What I Used
Digital Stamp: 'Penguin Ice-Cream'
Digital Sentiment: 'Everyday Banner' and 'Say It Big'
Dies: Envelope Edger

Love your gorgeous card Janine! The way you've used the envelope border with the multiple layers is fab! Love that fabulous pink paper too, it really brings out and highlights the fabulous strawberry ice-cream! Amazing colouring on that and your gorgeous penguin. Hugs, Wends xoxo
