Lili Of The Valley - Bunny On Swing

Hi there

Well today I have another gorgeous Easter bunnie digi stamps to share with you from Lili Of  The Valley. LOTV really know how to do bunnies, I just love them. I'm late with my posts as I was trying my hand, might I say miserably, at watercolouring. Esh, I had a right old time and it didn't go well. In my early cardmaking days and pre Copic and Promarkers I did watercoloured my images, but since buying my pens I rarely do it...and it showed. I really need to put some practice in, so that's exactly what I'm planning on doing. Wish me luck! I'm also going to start Art Journaling as I have so many wonderful stamps and that I rarely used and some haven't even seen the light of day. Plus I want to get back to being creative for 'me'. :)

Anyhow back to the matter at hand and today's card. So today's card is using the very sweet Bunny On Swing and an sentiment from the Spring Mix of 32 Sentiments collection. I used Watercolour paint and pencils over the top to colour with.  I hope you like it. (For sale - £4.50 + P&P - requests by email please )

For your information, here is the link to the LOTV Etsy Store to check out all the digi stampsand the LOTV online store to check out the rest of their goodies.

Here's What I Did
I cut to size a piece of pretty two-tone patterned paper to fit the front of a 6" x 6"card blank, leaving a slim border around the edge..

Using my software I imported the sweet little bunny and a sentiment, then resized them both to fit my project. The scene was printed onto watercolour card and die cut into a circle. I lightly watercoloured the image and added pencil over the top. The finished scene was mounted on a purple circle mat then a lilac scalloped circle mat.

Foam was added to the back of the completed topper and glued to the centre of the card front. To finish off the card I add a pearls around the card.

Here's What I Used
Digi Stamps: Bunny On Swing
Simply Print - Bunny On Swing

Prismacolour Pencils: Bunnie -Burnt Ochre, Light Umber, Sienna Brown, Beige, Blush Pink / Swing - Terracotta, Gingeroot /Thistle & Grass - Lilac, Parma Violet, Chartreuse, Olive Green

Hi everyone

Today I have the pleasure of sharing one of the new Easter bunnie digi stamps from Lili Of  The Valley. I just love LOTV bunnies, they're one of my favourite images to colour up. Today's card is using the very sweet Bunny Hop and an sentiment from the Spring Mix of 32 Sentiments collection. Here's What I Did
I cut to size a piece of green patterned paper to fit the front of the DL card and cut out the centre of to create a frame, this was glued frame onto the card front. Using my software I imported the sweet little bunny and sentiment, and resized them both to fit my project. The scene was printed onto colouring card and die cut with another rectangle die to fit inside the frame.

The scene was printed again onto copier paper, and the bunny, eggs and grass were cut out to create a mask. The mask was temporarily tape over the corresponding elements on the colouring card, then using a cloud mask and blue distress ink I added a sky in the background. When the ink was dry the masks were removed and the bunny and eggs were coloured with Copic pens. to finish the card, the completed scene was inserted inside the frame.

Amanda Jayne Designs - Belle Holding Magnolia

Hi there

I recently shared a bear in a bunny outfit card that I made for Amanda Jayne Designs as a Guest Designer. Well a few days ago I was asked by Amanda if I would join her new Design Team, and I said yes. So as promised I have another card to share with you, this time with a cute bunny digi stamp, paper and sentiment. Next week I have another AJD card to share with you, after that I will be sharing one card/project a month alongside my other DT duties.

For today's card I used a cute bunny digi stamp called 'Belle Holding Magnolia', one of the papers from the 'Crochet Hearts' paper collection plus a Mother's Day sentiment. To add colour to the images I used my Copic pens. The digi stamp and lots of other fabulous design are available in her Etsy store, where there's an offer on atm - buy 3 and get 10% off or buy 5 and get 25% off, so grab yourself a bargain. Here's What I Did
First I printed off the pretty crochet paper onto some good quality printer paper, then added it to the card front leaving a slim border around the edge.

I imported the little bunny and the Grandma sentiment into my software, and then resized them both to fit my project. The design was printed onto colouring card then die cut into an rectangle, Copic pens were used to colour it. The finished picture was glued to an rectangle mat cut from pink card, then funky foam was added to the back.

The topper, die cut flowers and leaves were attached the centre of the card. To finish off I added large pink pearls to the centre of the flowers, and smaller pearls and gems around the bunny.

Here's What I Used
Digi Stamps: 'Belle Holding Magnolia'
Digi Paper: Crochet Hearts
Digi Sentiment: Mother's Day sentiment

Amanda Jayne Designs - Bertie Bear In Bunny Suit

 Hi there

Today I'm wearing another hat so to speak, as I'm Guest Designing for Amanda Jayne Designs. The lovely Amanda has designed some gorgeous new digi stamps, sentiments and papers and asked if I would create some cards with them, so of course I said yes.

I have 3 cards to share with you over the next few days, starting with the one below - I used the sweet bear stamp 'Bertie Bear In Bunny Suit', on e of the papers from the 'Crochet Hearts' paper collection and a Mother's Day sentiment. To add colour to the images I used my Copic pens. The digi stamp and lots of other fabulous design are available in her Etsy store, where there's an offer on atm - buy 3 and get 10% off or buy 5 and get 25% off, so grab yourself a bargain. I hope you like it. (For sale - £4.50 + P&P - requests by email please)

For your information, here is the link to the Amanda Jayne Designs Etsy Store to check out all the digi stamps and papers.

Here's What I Did
First I printed off the pretty crochet paper onto some good quality printer paper, then added it to the card front leaving a slim border around the edge.

Next using my software I used the same paper and digitally cut out a heart shape then added a shadow behind it. A sentiment was also added and placed beneath the heart, both elements were resized so they would fit a 4½" x 4½" square. The complete image was printed directly onto white card, then die cut into a fancy edged square. Funky foam was added to the back of the square and glued to the centre of the card front.

Using my software again I imported the bear and resized it so it would fit inside the heart, then printed it onto colouring card stock. I coloured the bunnie using Copic pens, then fussy cut it out. The cut out bear was glued to the centre of the heart.

To finish the card I added a few pearls to the top of the card plus a little blue heart near the sentiment.

Here's What I Used
Digi Paper: Crochet Hearts
Digi Sentiment: Mother's Day sentiment

Copic Pens: Bears - E31, E33, E35, R11, R20 / Bunny Suit - C0, C1 / Flowers & Grass - B0000, B12, B14, YG01, YG03, YG17

Other: 6" x 6" White  Card Blank, Make It Colour Card, Blue Glitter Card, Decorative Nested Square Die Set (Craft Buddy), Heart Die (MFT), Funky Foam, Blue Pearls, White Pen, Glue, Double Sided Tape

Lili Of The Valley - Dragon - Flowers

 Morning everyone

Well it's definitely been a scary couple of weeks, and I don't about you but it has really made me both sad and angry. Of course I'm speaking about the war in Ukraine. It really saddens my heart to see the desperation and heart break in the eyes of the people there. It just makes me feel so useless as I'm not able to physically help them.

So on that note, I've made today's card in support of Ukraine using a brand new Lili of The Valley dragon digi stamp - the details are given below the pictures. 💙💛 If you wish to make a card to support Ukraine or maybe for another occasion there is 50% off in the Lili of the Valley etsy store atm.

I have also donated several of my cards and lots of stamps and dies to a worldwide facebook auction, which will be taking place very soon. I'm certain they will raise lots of money and awareness. In addition to this my husband and I are going shopping tomorrow to buy some supplies to donate to a local Ukraine Appeal at my local park. #cardsforukraine #papercrafterssupportukraine

Lili Of the Valley - Farm Cows

Afternoon everyone

Wow, I can't believe we're now in March. It's scary how fast the months are going, the upside is that Spring is definitely on it's way. Sooo, to celebrate this Lili Of  The Valley card have launched a selection of new digi stamps - cute farm animals, rabbits and dragons. My first card for this month is using the sweet Spring - farm cows set (the set includes 2 baby cows). To add colour I used my Copics and Prismacolor pencils.  I hope you like it. (For sale - £4.50 + P&P - requests by email please )

Using my software I imported the sweet little calf and resized it to fit my project. The cow was coloured with Copic pens and pencils, when it was finished it was fussy cut out.

A circle was cut from pale blue and green card. From the green circle I die cut 2 grassy borders and glued them on top of each other at the bottom of the blue circle. Using the cut out cow as a placement guide I glued a few die cut clouds and flowers in place. The finished scene was matted onto a white scalloped circle, then funky foam was added to the back to give extra dimension. The topper was glued into the centre of the card. The cow was added to the created scene using foam pads.

To finish off I added a few pearls to the bottom of the card and a banner embellishment to the top.
