Craftsulove Design Team - July Card and Tutorial

Hi guys💙

I'm back with another card and tutorial using products available in the Craftsulove online store. This time I'm using some fabulous papers by BoBunny to create a DL card, the papers are from their Early Bird Collection which are absolutely gorgeous.

For my card I used 'Notes' which has a script print on one side and a pretty mandala style pattern on the reverse, and 'Time Flies' which has beautiful text panels on one side which you can cut up and use as toppers, and on the reverse it's a lovely distressed blue striped paper. To add a little extra interest I also used 3 banner dies which have a pretty stitched detail around the edge.

YOU WILL NEED

(Products available from Craftsulove):
12” x 12" Early Bird Collection by BoBunny - ‘Notes’ Notes
12” x 12" Early Bird Collection by BoBunny - Times Flies Paper
'Girl Assortment' Matt Enamel Stickers from Doodlebug Designs Inc
Paper Rose ‘Banner’ Dies

From My Own Stash:
Strong White Card
Blue Card
Turquoise Card
Silver Mirror card
Double Sided Tape
Foam Pads

 1. Trim a piece of white card to 8” x 8” and score at 4”, then fold in half to create a DL card.

2. From the ‘Notes’ paper trim a piece 4” x 8” and cover the front of the DL card.

3. Cut out the panel ‘Good Things Take Time.’ from the ‘Time Flies’ 12” x 12” paper. Mount this onto a piece blue card and then onto silver mirror card leaving a slim border on each to create a topper.

4. Using the banner die set - cut 1 banner from turquoise card using the largest die (5th), cut 1 banner from the ‘Notes’ paper using the 3rd die, and lastly cut 1 banner from the ‘Times Flies’ paper using the 2nd die.

5. Layer up the banners and stick them together, then trim off any overhang.

6. Glue the banners flat to the card front.

7. Add foam pads to the back of the topper, and attach this over the top section of the banners. To complete the card add an enamel stickers on the topper in each of the mandala centres, and one at the top of the smallest banner.
