Whimsy Inspiration Post - April Week 5

Hi there everyone ๐Ÿ’œ

Wow, the last week of April, where is the time going! Well it was my birthday on Monday (23rd - St George's Day) and so my lovely hubbie has treat me to a few days away to visit Longleat Safari Park in the grounds belonging to Lord Bath. They created a BBC programme about the park and big house a few years ago and I've always wanted to visit it. Hopefully the UK will behave itself and we'll get to see some animals and their conservation work. So I've schedule this post while I'm off on my little adventure, and hopefully I'll post some cheeky animal pictures next week. :)

Anyhoo, back to biz. Today it's my turn to share my latest Whimsy Stamps card with you, and I again I want to highlight the wonderful digital bunnie collection by Crissy Armstrong. I have used the same concept as last week's design but this time I've simply added my images, printed out the sheet and coloured them in. To create my card I again used PowerPoint and coloured the bunnie with Copic pens.

As I mentioned previously I was inspired by one of Jennifer McGuire's video tutorials about Scatter Stamping. I hope you like it and give it a try.

All the links to the Whimsy products can be seen below. I hope you like it.

Here's What I Did
Using PowerPoint firstly created a rectangle frame 5" x 7" with a dark outside line and a white centre (this will give you a guideline for placement). Inserted the bunnies one at a time then resized and rotated them. Place some of the bunnies so that parts of them fall outside of the frame. The sentiment was firstly cropped back to only show the word 'Hello', then resized and added to the project using the same process as the bunnies.

Click onto the rectangle frame and press delete to remove it. Print out the topper, and coloured the one bunnies with your Copic pens.

To complete the card add a piece of black card to cover the front of a 5" x 7" top fold card. Trim the bunnie topper to size so that there will be a slim border around the edge, add it to the card front to finish.

Tip 1 -- Make sure you name and save your project as soon as possible, and save regularly to avoid losing your work.

Digital Sentiments: 'Say it Big'

Gosh this one in full colour must have taken quite some colouring! They all look amazing, but those two in their sassy boxers are just too cute!!! Brilliant card hun and loved reading about your process. I've not had time to check into any Jennifer Maguire posts lately, so must check that out. Hugs, Wends xoxo
