Lili Of The Valley - Cute Festive Gnomes #1

Good Afternoon

I'm back again with another card for Lili Of The Valley (LOTV), using one of the new polymer stamp sets. Today I've made a card using the 'Cute Festive Gnomes' set which is available in the LOTV Etsy shop. I used Copic pens to colour with and a festive die. I hope you like it.

For your information, here is the link to the LOTV Website which hosts freebies and tutorials etc, and the LOTV Etsy Store to check out all the stampsFYI you can use both sites to access the stamps.

Here's What I Did & Used
I trimmed down a piece of cute pink Christmas paper and added it to the front of a 5" x 5" scalloped card blank, leaving a slim border around the edge.

Using white card I die cut a wreath frame and added clear glitter card to the branches, then glued it flat onto the front of the card. Next I stamped the skating gnome onto Copic blending card, and die cut it into a small square. The image was coloured with Copic pens, and glitter was added. Funky foam was glued to the back of the square and attached to the centre of the wreath. To complete the card I added a few pink die cut stars.

Amanda Jayne Designs - A Latte Love #2

Hi Everyone

As I mentioned yesterday I've teamed up with my teammates at Amanda Jayne Designs to share our cards over this weekend to show how differently you can use the digital stamps and papers. In case you missed my post yesterday the digi set we are using is called A Latte Love and it includes - 2 x uncoloured and 2 x pre-coloured digi stamps plus a set of 10 x digital paper. I hope you like them. x

For my card today I have created a lovely bright card along with one of the digi stamps and my 'Hello' edger die. I coloured the stamp with Copic pens.

FYI - Amanda has lots of  lovely digi stamp, papers and sentiments in her Etsy shop, along with some pre-coloured images and papers. Here is the link to the Amanda Jayne Designs Etsy Store to check out all the digi stamps and papers.

Here's What I Did
First I trimmed down a 5" x 7" side fold card blank to 4¼" x 6¼". Next I imported the digi stamps into my software, then merged the girl digi stamp and the leaf border together to ground her. The images were resized to fit my project and moved to the bottom left section of the A4 sheet and printed onto white colouring card. The images were coloured with Copic pens. The sheet was trimmed down to 4¼" x 6¼" (to match the card blank), the top section was die cut across with a 'Hello' edger die. A suitable sentiment was stamped with black ink just below the cut out at the top of the card to complete the panel.

Another rectangle was cut to match the same size as the above panel and card blank. The top section of card was inked up using yellow and orange distress inks. When the ink was dry I attached the orange panel flat to the card front, and added the girl panel over the top.

The word 'Hello' was die cut twice from white card then glued together along with another 'Hello' which I coloured in the same distress inks as before. The die cut sentiment was placed in the corresponding space on the top section of the card. To finish the card I added white dots to her dress and bow, along with a few gems and pearls around the sentiment.

Amanda Jayne Designs - A Latte Love #1

Happy Autumn Everyone

So once again I've teamed up with my fellow Design Teammates over at Amanda Jayne Designs to promote one of Amanda's digi bundles. The digi set is called A Latte Love and it includes - 2 x uncoloured and 2  x pre-coloured digi stamps plus a set of 10 x digital paper. The ladies in my team and myself are each sharing a card today and tomorrow (Sunday), all using the same sets to show how differently they can be used. I hope you like them. x

For my card today I have created a CAS card with strips of the lovely digital paper from the set, along with one of the digi stamps which I coloured with Copic pens.

FYI - Amanda has lots of  lovely digi stamp, papers and sentiments in her Etsy shop, along with some pre-coloured images and papers. Here is the link to the Amanda Jayne Designs Etsy Store to check out all the digi stamps and papers.

Here's What I Did
I printed out the pale orange dotty paper from the bundle then trimmed it down to cover the card front. This was glued in place. The digi stamp was imported into my software, and resized to fit my project. The stamp was coloured up with Copic pens then fussy cut out.

I chose 4 of the digital papers and imported them into my software and cropped them down to approx 2.5" high to get them all onto a A4 sheet (and as not to waste my ink as well as card). On top of the pale orange piece I typed a sentiment in the middle of it. The sheet was printed off onto thin card.

The patterned papers were all cut down to ½" high strips, apart from one which I cut into a very thin strip (I used a die), they were all glued across a 5" square and trimmed off. The square was mounted onto a fancy edged square cut from brown card, and the completed topper was glued flat onto the card front. To finish the card, the boy stamp was added to the front using foam pads along with a few die cut leaves.

Lili Of The Valley - Polar Christmas #1

 Good Evening

Hi everyone, I'm delighted to be back sharing some of Lili Of The Valley's new Christmas polymer stamps sets. I will be sharing a few over the next few day, and I'm starting with this little cutie from the 'Polar Christmas' stamp set. I used a lilac colour scheme as I always think it's really fresh and modern; I kept the design CAS (Clean & Simple). To colour my little penguin scene I used Copic Pens. I hope you like it.

For your information, here is the link to the LOTV Online  Shop and the LOTV Etsy Store to check out all the stampsFYI you can use both sites to purchase the stamps.

Here's What I Did & Used
I trimmed down a piece of lilac dotty paper to fit the front of a 6" x 6" card blank, leaving a slim border around the edge.

The penguin was stamped onto colouring card, then onto masking paper. The penguin mask was fussy cut out and placed over the top of the stamped penguin. The mountain scene was then stamped over the top (so that the mountains appear behind the penguin). The mask was then removed, and everything was coloured with Copic pens. The sentiment was stamped up in the right hand corner.

The scene was die cut with a square postage stamp frame and mounted onto lilac card. The completed topper was added to a slightly larger postage stamp frame cut from white card. Funky foam was added to the back of the topper, and glued to the card front. To finish the card, I added glitter to the snowy areas and a few pearls around the sentiment.

Amanda Jayne Designs - Witch On Broom & Scene Builder #2

Afternoon Everyone

As I mentioned yesterday I've teamed up with Design Team at Amanda Jayne Designs to showcase her brand new Halloween set called Witch On Broom & Scene Builder. We have each shared our cards over this weekend to show how differently you can use the stamps. I hope you like them. x

For my card today I have gone all digital! I used my Ipad Pro, pencil and the Procreate app to create the spooky scene you can see below. 💙

FYI - Amanda has lots of  lovely digi stamp, papers and sentiments in her Etsy shop, along with some pre-coloured images and papers. Here is the link to the Amanda Jayne Designs Etsy Store to check out all the digi stamps and papers.

Here's What I Did
Using my Ipad Pro, pencil, digital brushes and the Procreate app. I imported the witch and a few of the other elements from the set into the app and set about creating a spooky backdrop eg sky, clouds and a hillside. I digitally coloured and manipulated all stamp images. To finish it off I added some leaves/flowers along the hillside, plus my own Halloween sentiment.

When the scene was finished I printed it off onto mixed media card for a little texture ( I used high quality print setting). The picture was cut it down to 5½" x 5½" and added to the front of a 6" x 6" card blank.

If you would like to know which digital brushes etc I used, just email me (address on the right side).

Here's What I Used

Used: 6" x 6" Black Card Blank, Mixed Media Card (Canson), 'Square' Die (Tattered Lace), White Pen, Double Sided Tape

Amanda Jayne Designs - Witch On Broom & Scene Builder #1

Afternoon Everyone

This week I've teamed up with the DT at Amanda Jayne Designs to showcase a brand new Halloween set called Witch On Broom & Scene Builder. Lisa and I are each sharing a card today and tomorrow (Sunday) using the same sets to show how differently they can be used. I hope you like them. x

For my card today I have created a framed arched window that peeks out at the witch on her broom, with a brightly coloured sky. I also used some of the extras to enhance my card.

FYI - Amanda has lots of  lovely digi stamp, papers and sentiments in her Etsy shop, along with some pre-coloured images and papers. Here is the link to the Amanda Jayne Designs Etsy Store to check out all the digi stamps and papers.

Here's What I Did
I die cut an arch window aperture into the front of a 5" x 7" card front blank. Using the same die and a slightly smaller one, I die cut a thin frame from the same black card - I did this 4 times and glued them together.

A piece of watercolour card was trimmed down slightly smaller than the 5" x 7" card blank, to create a panel. I applied and blended different coloured distress inks onto the panel, going from yellow at the bottom to purple at the top (see the list below). Using black distress ink and a couple of stencils I added some clouds to create the sky, then splashed white chalk paint all over it. When the panel was dry I glued it to the front of the card behind the aperture.

The witch/broom, pumpkins and grave stones were imported into my software, then resized to suit my project. The images was printed onto watercolour card, coloured with distress re-inkers and fussy cut out.

Next I die cut a circle from white card and applied a little yellow and orange ink to create a moon, this was glued onto the sky. The witch with her broom was glued over the moon.

Using the small arch die I cut another shape from the same black card, then die cut it again with a hill border die. This was glued inside the aperture as a little hill, and the die cut word 'Boo' coloured with inks, was added alongside a few coloured pumpkins and gravestones. To complete the card, I added a little sparkle to the witch, a few white dots and stars.

Here's What I Used

Distress Re-inkers: Witch --- Skin - Tattered Rose, Tea Dye, Spun Sugar / Hair - Squeezed Lemonade, Carved Pumpkin, Tea Dye / Dress, Hat Trim & Boots, Tights - Wilted Violet, Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn / Hat - Hickory Smoke, Squeezed Lemonade, Wilted Violet, Black Soot / Broom - Tea Dye, Vintage Photo, Rusty Hinge / Book - Hickory Smoke, Squeezed Lemonade, Twisted Citron / Pumpkin - Carved Pumpkin, Spiced Marmalade, Mowed Lawn / Grave Stones - Hickory Smoke, Squeezed Lemonade, Carved Pumpkin / BOO - Squeezed Lemonade, Spiced Marmalade

Distress Ink: Sky - Squeezed Lemonade, Spiced Marmalade, Crushed Olive, Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean, Shaded Lilac, Wilted Violet, Faded Jeans, Picked Raspberry, Dusty Concord / Clouds - Black Soot

Other: 5" x 7" Black Top Fold Card Blank, Watercolour Card (Ecoline), White & Black Card, White Glitter Card, 'Circle' Die (Tattered Lace), 'Arched Window' Die Set (Hunkydory), 'Stitched Hillside Border Die (Lawn Fawn), 'Alphabet' Die Set (XCut), 'Space' Die Set (Paper Smooches), Small & Large 'Cloud' Stencils (MFT), White Chalk Paint, White Pen, Glue, Double Sided Tape, Funky Foam,
