Lili Of The Valley - Panda #2

Good Morning

I'm spreading the 'panda love' again today, using another of the new 'Panda' stamps from Lili Of The Valley. As I mentioned yesterday the panda's are available as both polymer stamps and digital stamps, and can be purchased as single stamps or in bundles (see below for info). They have now launched in their store....so grab yours To colour my cute panda I again used pastel pencils as they're a really quick medium to use. I hope you like it.

For your information, here is the link to the LOTV Online  Shop and the LOTV Etsy Store to check out all the stampsFYI you can use both sites to purchase the stamps.

Here's What I Did & Used
I trimmed down a piece of purple patterned paper to fit the front of a 6" x 6" card blank, leaving a slim border around the edge. Then glued a fancy white doily die cut into the centre.

The panda, butterfly and sentiment was stamped onto mixed media card. Everything was coloured with pastel pencils. The finished scene was sprayed with a fixative to ensure the pastel wouldn't smudge. The scene was die cut into a circle and mounted onto a lilac scalloped frame. Funky foam was added to the back. The topper was glued to the card front. To finish the card, I added white pen to the panda's eyes and nose, and a few pearls.

Lili Of The Valley - Panda #1

Good Morning

Hi everyone, I'm back again highlighting Lili Of The Valley's brand new stamps sets. Today I'm sharing a card I've made using one of the gorgeous 'Panda' stamps. The panda's are available as both polymer stamps and digital stamps, and can be purchased as single stamps or in bundles (see below for info). They have now launched in their store. To colour my little panda I used pastel pencils, and kept the card design fresh and clean. I hope you like it.

For your information, here is the link to the LOTV Online  Shop and the LOTV Etsy Store to check out all the stampsFYI you can use both sites to purchase the stamps.

Here's What I Did & Used
I trimmed down a piece of bright green patterned paper to fit the front of a 6" x 6" card blank, leaving a slim border around the edge.

The panda and sentiment was stamped onto mixed media card, then onto masking paper. The panda was fussy cut out and placed over the top of the first bear. The bamboo was then stamped over the top (to give the illusion that it sits behind the bear). The mask was then removed, and everything was coloured with pastel pencils. The finished scene was sprayed with a fixative to ensure the pastel wouldn't smudge.

The scene was die cut into a square postage stamp frame and mounted onto pale green card. The topper was added to a slightly larger postage stamp frame, cut from white card. Funky foam was added to the back and glued to the card front. To finish the card, I added white pen to the panda's eyes and nose, and a few pearls.

Amanda Jane Designs - Floral Corner

Morning Everyone

I'm back today sharing another of Amanda Jane Designs (AJD) floral digi stamps and papers. My card is to celebrate Amanda's 'May Flowers' challenge over on her Facebook page (see link at the bottom of the page). For more information about her wonderful themed monthly challenges check out my post from Sunday.

For my card today I've used the 'Floral Corner' stamp along with one of AJD digi papers - Spring Pastels. I used distress re-inkers and pastel pencils to colour with today. I hope you like it. x

Amanda has lots of  lovely digi stamp, papers and sentiments in her Etsy shop, along with some pre-coloured images and papers. Here is the link to the Amanda Jayne Designs Etsy Store to check out all the digi stamps and papers.

Here's What I Did
I printed off one of AJD digital papers and trimmed it down to fit the front of a 6" x 6" card blank, leaving a slim border around the edge. This was attached to the card front.

I imported the gorgeous flower display stamp into my software along with a digi sentiment from my stash, both were then resized to fit my project. The image was printed onto watercolour cardstock in grey to create a no-line look, this was then die cut with square die. The image was coloured with distress ink re-inkers and pastel pencils once it was dry.

The completed scene was glued to a square postage stamp frame cut from blue card. The finished topper was adhered to the centre of the card front. To finish off the card I added punched out mini butterflies and a few pearls.

Here's What I Used
Digi Stamp: Floral Corner
Digi Papers: Spring Pastels

Distress Re-inkers: Flowers - Wilted Violet, Villainous Potion, Saltwater Taffy, Festive Berry, Tumbled Glass, Broken China, Prized Ribbon, Squeezed Lemonade, Carved Pumpkin, Wild Honey / Butterflies - Saltwater Taffy, Festive Berry / Foliage Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn, Background - Hickory Smoke

Other: 6" x 6" White Card Blank, Ecoline Watercolour Card, Distress Ink Markers, Pastel Pencils, Blue Card, Pro Print Paper, Square 'Postage Stamp Frame' Die Set (Creative Expressions), Mini Butterfly Punch, Pearls, 'Love You. Mean It' Stamp Set (Concorde & 9th), White Pen, Black Fineliner, Glue, Double Sided Tape

Amanda Jane Designs - Cherry Blossom

Afternoon Everyone

Today it's my turn to share one of Amanda Jane Designs (AJD) fabulous digi stamps. As I mentioned a few weeks ago, Amanda runs a wonderful themed monthly challenge on her Facebook group (see link at the bottom of the page) and this monthly it's 'May Flowers'. You can enter your card, tag or whatever you fancy into the competition, as long as you use one of her lovely images or papers and it meets the theme. You can win lovely digi stamps as a prize.

For this month's challenge I have made couple of floral cards. I'm sharing one today and one tomorrow. For today's card I made a mini card using 'Cherry Blossom' coloured with distress re-inkers. I hope you like it. x

Amanda has lots of  lovely digi stamp, papers and sentiments in her Etsy shop, along with some pre-coloured images and papers. Here is the link to the Amanda Jayne Designs Etsy Store to check out all the digi stamps and papers.

Here's What I Did
First I created a 11cm x 9cm rectangle frame in my software. The cherry blossom images were imported into the software twice and arranged around the bottom of the frame by rotating and flipping them. Once I was happy with the look I deleted the rectangle and printed the scene onto watercolour cardstock in grey to create a no-line look. This was then trimmed to the correct size.

The top section was die cut diagonally with a 'Friend' edger die. The flower images were coloured with distress re-inkers. With the flowers covered I added a few splashes of pink paint.

I cut another rectangle to the same size as the previous one, and inked it up with pink and red ink. Water splashes were added to give it texture. When the ink was dry the floral panel was added to the front. The word 'friend was die cut from watercolour card twice; one sentiment was painted with the same pink/red ink used previously, then glued together. The die cut was then glued in place alongside a stamped sentiment. The completed topper was added to the mini card front - 12.5cm x 10.5cm.

To finish off the card, I added punched out pink mini butterflies along with a few gems.

Here's What I Used
Digi Stamp: Cherry Blossom

Distress Re-inkers: Flowers, Friend & Butterflies Spun Sugar, Saltwater Taffy, Festive Berry, Carved Pumpkin / Stems - Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn / Splashes Spun Sugar

Other: 12.5cm x 10.5cm White Card Blank, Ecoline Watercolour Card (11cm x 9cm), 'Friend' Edger Die & Stamp Set (Penny Black), Mini Butterfly Punch, Gems, White Pen, Water, Yellow Gouache Paint, Black Ink, Glue, Double Sided Tape
