Lili Of The Valley - Happy Christmas #2

Good Morning

I'm back again, as it's pre-order day of the new Lili Of The Valley (LOTV) 'Happy Christmas' polymer stamp set. To pre-order them simply head to the LOTV Etsy store (link below) and if you like and wanted them, simply order away. To give you a little more inspiration, on my card today I merged 2 of the stamps together to create a snowy scene, which I coloured with Prismacolor pencils. I hope you like it. x

For your information, here is the link to the LOTV website which hosts freebies and tutorials, and the LOTV Etsy Store so you can check out all the stampsFYI you can use both sites to access all the stamps.

Here's What I Did & Used
I trimmed down some lovely Christmassy patterned paper big enough to fit the front of a 6" x 6" card blank, leaving a slim border around the edge. The paper was glued flat onto the card front, and a white die cut fancy frame was added over the top.

Next I printed my digi sentiment onto my colouring card and hand stamped Father Christmas (FC) underneath it. FC was stamped again onto masking paper, and fussy cut out. The masks was placed over the top of the stamped FC and the tree was stamped next to him; the mask was removed. A line was drawn across the bottom to ground everything. The scene was coloured using Primacolor pencils.

The finished scene was die cut into a circle and mounted onto a pierced circle, cut from red card. The completed topper was adhered to the centre of the fancy frame.

To finish the card, I added white dots to FC's cheeks and eyes, several white die cut stars and a little glitter to the star.

Polymer Stamp Set: Happy Christmas (link to be added)
Digital Sentiment: Elegant Christmas

Lili Of The Valley - Happy Christmas #1

Good Morning

I'm back in the Christmas spirit....early I know. Sorry!!! Today I'm sharing a new polymer stamp launch from Lili Of The Valley (LOTV) called 'Happy Christmas', which will be available on pre-order from tomorrow (Monday 11th November). For my card today I dusted off my Prismacolor pencils, I made a quick and simple card as I know many people have to batch make at Christmas time. I hope you like it. x

For your information, here is the link to the LOTV website which hosts freebies and tutorials, and the LOTV Etsy Store so you can check out all the stampsFYI you can use both sites to access all the stamps.

Here's What I Did & Used
I die cut piece of candy striped patterned paper with a postage stamp die. The die is a great size, as it's big enough to fit the front of an 5" x 5" card blank leaving a slim border around the edge. This was glued flat onto the card front.

First I printed my digi sentiment onto my colouring card and hand stamped the star above it. The star was coloured using Primacolor pencils. The scene was die cut into a small square, and mounted onto a square postage stamp frame, cut from red card. This was in turn mounted onto a larger white postage stamp frame, and adhered to the centre of the card front..

To finish the card, I added white dots to the star's cheeks and eyes, and a little glitter to the fur trim on the hat.

Polymer Stamp Set: Happy Christmas (link to be added)
Digital Sentiment: Elegant Christmas

Prismacolor Pencil: Star - Canary Yellow, Yellowed Orange, Pale Vermillion / Hat - White, Blush Pink, Carmine Red, Crimson Lake, 50% Cool Grey

Other: White 5" x 5" Card Blank, Desert Storm Neenah Card, Red and White Card, 'I'll Be Gnome for Christmas' Paper Pad (The Works),  Square 'Postage Stamp Frame' Die Set (Creative Expressions), Glitter, Double Sided Tape, White Pen, black Ink, Double Sided Tape, Glue

Amanda Jayne Designs - Penguin Kisses #2

Hi Everyone

I'm back today with more Christmas inspiration for you, as promised. This is the 3rd of my Christmas cards showcasing Amanda Jayne Designs, and once again I've used the Penguin Kisses digi stamp set. As I mentioned previously the set includes: 6 digi stamps - 4 uncoloured in both jpg & png format, 2 pre-coloured images and a set of 10 beautiful digital papers. x

FYI - Amanda has lots of  lovely digi stamp, papers and sentiments in her Etsy shop, along with some pre-coloured images and papers. Here is the link to the Amanda Jayne Designs Etsy Store to check out all the digi stamps and papers.

Here's What I Did
I trimmed down a piece of pretty Christmas paper from my stash and glued it to the front of a 6" x 6" card front, leaving a slim border around the edge.

I imported the cute penguin into my software and added my own sentiment, everything was then resized to fit my project. The scene was printed onto colouring cardstock, and cut with a square die with stitched detail. The image was coloured with Copic pens. The finished scene was mounted onto a piece of white glitter card, and then onto a scalloped square cut from aqua coloured card. The finished panel  was added to the front of the card.

To complete the card, I created a banner decoration using small die cuts and the same papers; the banner was added to the top of the card. To complete the card, I added glitter and white dots to some of the baubles.
