Lili Of The Valley - Little Monkey #2

Good Morning

Today I have another 'Little Monkey' card for you using the cute stamps from Lili Of The Valley (LOTV). For my card I used the digital stamp version, but everything is also available in the polymer stamp set as well. You can achieve the same results as I have by doing a little bit of simple masking (if you need any help just email me). I used Copic pens to colour with. I hope you like it.

For your information, here is the link to the LOTV website which hosts freebies and tutorials, and the LOTV Etsy Store so you can check out all the stampsFYI you can use both sites to access all the stamps.

Here's What I Did & Used
I die cut a piece of blue patterned paper to fit the front of a 5" x 7" scalloped card blank, leaving a slim border around the edge.

Next I imported the monkey and sentiment into my software and resized them both to fit my project. Everything was printed onto colouring cardstock and coloured with Copic pens. The monkey and branch was printed out again onto masking paper and fussy cut out. The scene was die cut into rectangle and mounted onto another rectangle cut from blue card to match the paper. The topper was glued to the centre of the card front. To finish the card, I added white dots to the monkey's cheeks and a few yellow pearls in the bottom corner.

Lili Of The Valley - Little Monkey #1

Good Afternoon

Today I've stepped away from Christmas to concentrate on some monkey business from Lili Of The Valley (LOTV). For my card I've used the 'Little Monkey' digital stamp set, however there is a polymer stamp version (set contains 18 individual polymer stamps - 10 main images and 8 sentiments). The monkeys are approx 50mm x 50mm in the stamp set - see the link below. I used Copic pens to colour with. I hope you like it.

Here's What I Did & Used
I trimmed down a piece of yellow patterned paper to fit the front of a 6" x 6" card blank, leaving a slim border around the edge. Then glued a fancy white doily die cut into the centre.

Next I imported the monkey and sentiment into my software and resized them to fit my project. Everything weas printed onto colouring cardstock and coloured with Copic pens. The scene was die cut into a circle and mounted onto a yellow scalloped frame. Funky foam was added to the back. The topper was glued to the card front. To finish the card, I added white dots to the monkey's cheeks and a few yellow pearls in the bottom corner.

Lili Of The Valley - Christmas Banner Animals #2

Hi There

I'm back today to share the 2nd of my Lili Of The Valley (LOTV) cards made using the new 'Christmas Banner Animals' digi stamps set. As I mentioned yesterday, 6 of the character stamps are also available in the polymer stamp set. The banners are blank in both stamp sets, this allows you to choose your own sentiment from the set or maybe one from your stash. In the polymer set you receive 10 sentiments in a simple font. In the digital set you receive 22 sentiments in both a simple and an elaborate font, alongside 21 character stamps. Also included in the digi set is an 'Easy Print' 8 Page PDF - with a sentiment placed in each banner (in both UK and US PDF print size).

For today's card I created another CAS card but combined a few of the character stamps together and used a black fineliner pen to fill in any gaps. I added a couple of the sentiments from the set together with a heart stamp of my own. I used Copic pens to colour with. Like I said yesterday the stamps are perfect for batch making Christmas card, as they don't take much time to colour. They would also be fantastic to print out for the kids colour up, so they could make their own Christmas cards to send to their friends. Anyhow I hope you like it.

For your information, here is the link to the LOTV website which hosts freebies and tutorials, and the LOTV Etsy Store so you can check out all the stampsFYI you can use both sites to access all the stamps.

Here's What I Did & Used
First I die cut a scalloped panel from blue Christmas paper and added it to the front of a DL white card blank, leaving a slim border around the edge.

I imported the cute banner characters into my software, moved them close together and resized them to a similar size. The characters were then grouped together and resized again to fit my project. The images were printed onto colouring cardstock and cut with a rectangle die with stitched detail. The characters were coloured with Copic pens.

To finish the card, the coloured panel was added to the front, then a black fineliner was used to joined the banners together, and white dots were added to their cheeks.

Polymer Stamp Set: Christmas Banner Animals

Other: White DL Card Blank, 'Make It Colour' Card, 'Snowy Christmas' Paper Pad (The Works), Nested Scalloped Slims Die Set (Lisa Horton), Black Fineliner, White Pen, Funky Foam, Glitter, Double Sided Tape, Glue

Lili Of The Valley - Christmas Banner Animals #1

 Good Evening

Today I'm sharing the first of two cards made using the new 'Christmas Banner Animals' digi stamps set from Lili Of The Valley (LOTV). Six of the animal stamps are also available in a polymer stamp set (link below).

For today's card I created a CAS card used the mouse digi stamp with a sentiment from the set. I used Copic pens to colour with. What's fabulous about these stamps is that they don't take a lot of time to colour, so they're perfect for batch making your Christmas card. I hope you like it.

For your information, here is the link to the LOTV website which hosts freebies and tutorials, and the LOTV Etsy Store so you can check out all the stampsFYI you can use both sites to access all the stamps.

Here's What I Did & Used
I die cut a piece of red patterned card into a rectangle and added it to the card front leaving a border around the edge.

Next I imported the mouse digi stamp into my software and resized it to fit my planned project. The image was printed onto colouring card and die into a small rectangle; this was then coloured up using Copic pens. The finished image was mounted onto red card, and funky foam was added to the back to give extra dimension. The completed topper was added to card front, and finished off with a little glitter and a few enamel dots.

Amanda Jayne Designs - Gnome with Lantern

Hi Everyone

Well Christmas has arrived...yay! This is the first of a few Christmas cards made using Amanda Jayne Designs digi stamps. I will be sharing more over the next week or so, so watch out for them both here and on social media.

For my card today I have created a CAS card using the digi stamps called Gnome With Lantern. I coloured the stamp with Copic pens. I hope you like it. x

FYI - Amanda has lots of  lovely digi stamp, papers and sentiments in her Etsy shop, along with some pre-coloured images and papers. Here is the link to the Amanda Jayne Designs Etsy Store to check out all the digi stamps and papers.

First I die cut a scalloped panel from blue Christmas paper and added it to the front of a DL white card blank, leaving a slim border around the edge.

I imported the cute gnome into my software keeping it to the left of the page, the image resized to fit my project. The gnome was printed onto colouring cardstock, and cut with a rectangle die with stitched detail. The image was coloured with Copic pens. The finished panel was added to the front of the card. To accompany the gnome I die cut a Christmas sentiment 3 times, then stacked and glued them all together. To complete the card, the sentiment was added it to the card front along with a few different coloured pearls.

Here's What I Used
Digi Stamp: Gnome With Lantern

Copic Pens: Skin - E000, E00, E01, E02 / Beard - W1, W2, W3, W5 / Hat, Gloves And Outfit - B000, B12, B14, B16, B18 / Boots - E31, E33, E35, E37 / Lantern - Y02, Y15, Y17, Y35 / Glow - Y000, Y00, Y02, Y15 / Holly - YG01, YG03, YG17, R02, R14, R29
