Lili Of the Valley - Rowmantic

 Hi everyone

I'm back again with another gorgeous digi stamp from Lili Of The Valley, this one is called 'Rowmantic' (it's a great name isn't it!). I've teamed the sweet couple up with one of the new heart borders (please note that the border DOES NOT include the word 'I love you', I have physically added this over the top  of the border using my software program - it's really easy to do. To add some colour to the images I used Copic pens.

Both digi stamps are part of the 'love' collection which has been released today and there's 20% off everything. All the stamps are really sweet and could be used for Valentine's Day, anniversary, engagement/wedding or just to say 'I love you'. Links will be added after the launch. I hope you like it. (For sale - £4.50 + P&P - requests by email please )

For your information, here is the link to the LOTV Etsy Store to check out all the digi stampsand the LOTV online store to check out the rest of their goodies.

Here's What I Did
I added a piece of  blue starry paper to the centre of my 6" x 6" scalloped card blank. Using my software I imported the heart border and tilted it slightly. I add a text box and typed the words 'I love you', making sure that the text box fill was empty (not white filled as it would be normally). I placed the box over the top of the border and again tilted it slightly, the boy/girl image was added and resized to fit the circle I planned to use. The scene was printed straight onto blue card, and die cut clouds were added. The completed scene was cut with a circle die.

The same boy/girl image was printed again onto colouring card and coloured with Copic pens, then fussy cut out. The cut out image was glued in place on the blue circle; the finished scene was mounted onto a scalloped white circle.  Foam was added to the back of the topper and glued in to the centre of the card front. To finish off the card I add glitter to the hearts, and a heart gem to the bottom of the card.

If you would like a more detailed tutorial on how I added the text please let me know in the comments below, and I will add them to the tutorial page. x
